The Spiral tower. 1

Up Above the sky, situated on a large tree that reached the skies which was surrounded by other trees like it, situated on that specific tree was a nest and in that nest layed a white egg with black spiral patterns.

Soon the egg started cracking and black spiral storm clouds surrounded the forest, the lower level creatures hiding ?etween the trees immediately hid.

Then the spiral clouds were now emitting sparks of intense blue lightning.

The lightning was about to strike when suddenly, the inner clouds of the spiral glowed red and then a blood red lighting bolt descended I the egg.

  You have died.

  ....

I open my eyes and found myself back in my room, confused by what I experienced, it was like my body was electrocuted by something...

I looked at the book and on the page of the egg, a record appeared.

  Name:Storm shifting wolf egg.

  Attempts:1

  Success:0

  Comprehension:Crimson Lightning:0.005%. Storm sense:0.000%. Beast Core:1%.

  Challenger:Human. PARASITE.

I frowned when it said parasite...but it does make sense since Sang is sort of a parasite, a little blood worm.

I am going to go again.

  Dive two.

  ...

Above a giant tree, a black cloud that was filled with crimson lighting descended on an egg.

Unlike before the egg survived for 0.5 seconds.

  You have died.

  ...

I jolted awake once more, air catching painfully in my lungs. My hands shook slightly as I pushed myself upright. The sensation of being struck by that overwhelming force still lingered—hot and raw under my skin.

Without needing to look, I knew:

  I failed again.

But I was starting to notice something subtle.

The pain... it was less sharp.

The fear... a little more distant.

I wiped the sweat from my brow and turned my gaze down to the book, the record now flickering faintly like a living heartbeat.

  ...

Each death scraped a little deeper understanding into my soul.

Each failure stitched a little more resonance between me and that violent storm.

Sang hissed as she also felt slight pain.

I encouraged her. "Come on, let's do this a fee more times and I will let you consume my blood.

And then fir the next hour we kept challenging the beast trial, feeling the excruciating pain of bring electrocuted by Crimson Lightning and dying countless times.

Soon we finally made progress and I suddenly learned something insinctual.

  ....

  Name: Storm Shifting Wolf Egg

  Attempts:3680

  Success: 0

  Comprehension:

  Crimson Lightning: 3.015%

  Storm Sense: 5.007%

  Beast Core: 15%

Challenger: Body Reinforcment Stage:Demi-Human. First Entry Beast:Blood Worm.

  ....

I have unconsciously condensed fifteen percent of a beast Core and from my understanding, a human who has a beast Core in this world is stated as a Demi-Human, they are hated by all races and are slaves to many.

But here is the thing, My Beast Core does not run on Mana since I have no Mana veins and it only runs from the slowly gathering burning blood cells that were slightly giving off electricity gathering in the beast Core.

My sensitivity to the weather has also increased and dying over 3680 times was not a nice feeling.

Sang who was on my head slowly went down to my arm and entered my body, she has become a beast a first entry blood worm.

You may wonder how I am able to give off electricity within Mana but the reason is because of a thing called Bioelectricity

—the natural electrical currents that exist within every living thing. The spark of thought, the jolt of muscle, the pulse of life itself.

After thousands of deaths, I’d learned to weaponize it.

At first, it was instinct—numb fingers twitching from residual lightning. But then, over hundreds of dives, I began feeling it, guiding it. Now I could gather and compress it within my beast core. Not as pure as Mana... but raw natural energy.

I stood up from my bed and stretched my body. "I need to finish the second stage of Blood ignition and move onto the third to start the reconstruction of my body."-

I wondered what would be effected since I now have a beast core, but I should probably test my skills soon, I don't think having this much power and not using it is wasteful.

I mean my power is still weak compared to a lot of beings that live in Urael and I don't think getting overconfident just because I have a little bit of unrefined power.

But that would not stop me, I stood up and stretched, I went outside the house and I smelled something like....iron.

  Was it blood?.

  ...

  Cough?!!.

How atrocious, left In this state by a lowsy elf and a dwarf, I thought I could come to this town to rest and then move on to my business but I never expected an elf that practices a Taboo technique and weirds an ancient relic would appear.

And then this scribe. A dwarf as a scribe, hah, what joke is this. "You disgusting insects?!! Have you not realized that there is a Dark tower in this town?!!."

Ah yes that atrocious spire that is trying to reach above the skies, the sickening aura that surround it distorts the Mana and twists the natural ley lines.

The dwarf snickered at my words. "Oh please, a vampire coming to this desolate place is unheard and oe of a royal lineage too."

"Tsk...how did your eyes see through the 『Fakers mask』." I was wearing a high level Magical tool, how did this disgrace see true my identity.

The dwarf chuckled and then pulled out something from his pocket, he pulled it close to his face. It was a blood red Talisman that had runes running around every inch of it.

Glancing at it for more than a second made me want to tear my eyes out. The dwarf spoke. "I am a talentless dwarf that cannot forge weapons and has no resistance to fire, I cannot wield metal nor can I make technology...but you see, since I was a child, I could see a world beyond mortals, everything around my reality was filled with endless and countless runes, I was shunned by the dwarves and I was considered a failure. But I didn't see it that way. To me, the world was a vast, intricate tapestry woven from pure power, flowing along invisible threads of intent and meaning. Runes weren't just symbols; they were the fundamental language of reality itself. This talisman?"

He gestured with the blood-red object. "It's a simple amplification focus. It doesn't give me sight, it just... tunes the frequency, makes the ambient runes of your lineage and your disguise scream loud enough for even a normal creature to feel their dissonance. Your 'Fakers mask' was a cacophony of conflicting runes trying to impose a false reality."

Hearing the annoying tone of the dwarf I looked at the elf. "And you, whatis your deal?. That staff is a piece of the world tree and the smell of curse is stagnant on you."

The elf sighed and spoke. "Hmmm well I just stumbled upon something....hellish and hen this staff was given to mee Willingly by the Great tree, By the way My name is Nilia, the Elf condemned by all realms and taken by Niflheim, The rightful daughter of hell itself.."

She made a strange pose and stuck out her tongue at me.

...is it strange I feel an overwhelming fear of her words and also a strange attraction to her despite being a girl also?.
