The act of sending the deceased off is a sacred one that has passed down since ancient times. Our ancestors who weren''''t blessed with the light of the Gods would simply just dig a grave and bury the body inside of it, but that was a crude and barbaric method that would simply lead the soul astray, forever being unable to reach the Kingdom of a God.
