Hundreds of meteors hit the earth, all filled with the same mysterious glowing blue substance. Portals began to appear in the air and monsters poured out. Doors began to open to other locations, even other realities. Entire chunks of land were warped into different realities, like the scorching desert that filled most of what was once northern Russia. This substance, this "Eden" as it became known, had the power to warp reality.
