Cindy didn't have to wait long. The thing she had been anticipating finally happened to her.
As a chilling laugh echoed in her ear, Cindy's mind began to unravel. A hint of captivating allure flickered within her dazed eyes.
Her eyelashes fluttered.
When her vision cleared, she found herself in a magnificent bedroom, decorated with lavish extravagance.
"What?" Cindy frowned slightly, feeling inexplicably irritated. "How did I get back home? This sucks!"
Cindy grabbed a glass from the table and hurled it violently against the wall.
With a crash, the glass shattered into countless pieces.
Barely two seconds passed before the butler rushed in with two servants.
"Miss, are you hurt?" the butler asked with concern, while urging the servants to clean up the mess on the floor.
Cindy said with a shrug, "Can't you just let me clean it up myself?"
"Miss, your hands are far too precious. What if you get hurt? Leave such trivial matters to us, the servants!" the butler chuckled.
Cindy rolled her eyes and retorted, "Am I really going to injure myself by picking up trash?"
Cindy watched the servants cleaning, feeling incredibly vexed.
Ever since she was a child, things had been like this. Even something as simple as getting dressed was done by servants.
It was as if she was a crippled person with no hands or feet, requiring assistance for everything.
Cindy detested this!
"Miss, where are you going?" The butler watched Cindy leave the room and hurried after her.
Without turning her head, Cindy said coldly, "Out to have some fun."
The butler replied cheerfully, "What car would the Miss like to take today? I'll arrange for a driver and security immediately."
"Can't I go out alone?" Cindy asked.
"That would require Master's permission," the butler said truthfully. "Master is only doing it for your own good. It's not safe for a young lady to go out alone."
Cindy waved her hand listlessly and said, "Fine, then arrange it. I want to take a walk by the beach."
The butler shook his head and said, "A strong typhoon has been passing through the city recently, and there may be large waves near the coast. For your safety, I cannot allow you to go to the beach."
"You!" Cindy glared angrily.
It was always like this!

Whenever she had a sudden urge to go somewhere, her family and the butler would use various safety reasons to confine her at home!
Sometimes Cindy suspected that she was a prisoner.
All that was different was that the food, drink, and expenses were better, but her freedom was restricted!
Cindy felt that the happiest moments were when no one was watching her, and she could do whatever she wanted.
Especially after doing things she had never done before, she would feel a kind of inexplicable pleasure in her heart, uncontrollably immersed in it!
Especially when doing things that ordinary people dared not do, the thrill would increase exponentially with the level of excitement!
She was like a bird trapped in a cage, longing for the blue sky and white clouds outside!
"Oh, right, Master has enrolled you in an international etiquette class, which you'll start tomorrow!" the butler said with a smile.
"I'm not going," Cindy shook her head like a rattle-drum.
The butler explained, "Miss, you'll surely be representing the family at various business balls in the future. If your etiquette is lacking, it will draw criticism, especially since you're a girl!"
"When did I ever say I wanted to inherit the family business and attend business balls?" Cindy said impatiently.
"Isn't that what you're supposed to do?" The butler was very certain about this.
"Sigh," Cindy sighed deeply. Even though she hadn't done anything, she felt physically and mentally exhausted, and her voice was weak.
The butler continued, "Also, Master hopes that you will get to know Eric from Global Group. Global Group's resources are extremely helpful for the family business. It would be wonderful if you could tie the knot with Uncle Eric."
Cindy covered her ears and ran.
But no matter how fast she ran, the butler followed her relentlessly like a ghost, lecturing her non-stop.
"In addition, I've instructed the kitchen that Miss's dinners should primarily consist of vegetable salads and fruits, which will help with your figure."
"Miss, Master hopes that you will take over the family's business in Riverdale, familiarize yourself with the business operations in advance, and gain experience for your future appointment to the board of directors."
"Miss, you should land on your heels, not your toes, when running. Otherwise, it will be very damaging to your knees!"
"Ah!"
Cindy was in excruciating pain!
From childhood, her life had been like this, planned out clearly by her father and the butler.
From the small things like eating, drinking, dressing, and etiquette.
To the big things like learning, socializing, and travel arrangements.
She was like a robot, running according to the program set by her father and the butler.
She remembered that the day before she went to college, her father sent people to investigate all the students in her class, creating a list for her.
The list clearly indicated which students needed to be associated with and which students were not allowed to be in contact with.
Whenever she wanted to do something she wanted to do, her father would come out and scold her harshly.
Cindy couldn't take it anymore, and hysterically shouted at the butler, "Can you please stop forcing me and let me do what I want to do!"
"Miss, we are all doing this for your own good!" The butler's smile did not reach his eyes.
"For my own good!" Cindy smiled sadly.
She didn't know how many times she had heard those words since she was a child.
Cindy looked at the birds flying past the window and suddenly felt envious.
Although the birds did not have a place to shelter from the wind and rain, and might even be hungry every day.
But at least they were free, and they could choose what they wanted to do!
Cindy suddenly laughed and said, "You can stop me from doing many things, but you certainly can't stop me from dying, can you?"
Before the words were finished, Cindy suddenly rushed towards the window next to her and jumped out of it.
In that moment, Cindy felt incredibly relaxed and comfortable.
She had finally done something that no one could stop her from doing!
......
Outside the Death Shack, Jake dragged the three people out one by one.
The three buddies who had been waiting for a long time burst into laughter at this scene.
"Sure enough, they all fell!"
"Normal, normal. I wonder if they'll dare to continue the challenges after they wake up!"
"I'm also curious. The Hyper Velocity Coaster and Interstellar Voyage may not be as mentally stimulating as the Death Shack, but the physical stress is equally formidable!"
"Shh, be quiet, I think someone's waking up!"
