In death, humans are sent to Heaven or Hell, their path chosen only by the weight of their soul. All the angels and demons of the afterlife tally virtues and vices, betting on which way the scale tips. But what if the scale is perfectly balanced? What if all they cannot determine which way the scale tips? What if a human dies young, too young for Earth to have tested if their soul is wicked or pure?
