At the restaurant, Josh was forced to let Alice take the lead once more since everybody was speaking in what Josh assumed to be French again. He felt himself think that every French person in America seemed to be in Florida right now. Another part of him thought that Alice might have selected these pces on purpose to make him feel weak and powerless. Another part tried to argue against that. Josh felt his mind buzzing as a man in a suit led them to a table. The man pulled Alice’s chair out and let her sit down. Josh reached for his chair, but the man quickly switched into English and rushed over to Josh. He said, “Sorry ma’am, I will get this for you.” Josh sat down before what the man said had a chance to register in his head. Josh had to sit quietly while Alice nodded along with the man as he gestured at the menu. Josh could hear the blood pulsing through his ears. He felt his heart pounding in his chest. Why did the waiter call him ma’am? Josh should be radiating pure masculine energy at this point. Was it his weird shoes? Or maybe the bra made his breasts seem too big. Or maybe Alice told them something weird about him. Eventually, the waiter walked away and Alice turned to face Josh. Before Alice could get a word out, Josh said, “He called me ma’am.” Alice blinked. “Oh, I didn’t hear him.” Josh leaned forward and then adjusted himself so that his chest went over the table instead of squishing into it. “When he pulled my chair out for me, he called me ma’am. And he got my chair out for me, like he thought I was a woman.” Alice had a strange look on her face; like she wanted to smile but forgot how. Josh needed her to tell him the waiter was crazy. He needed her to tell him that he was obviously a guy. Alice said, “You seem upset. Isn’t this a good thing?” Josh felt like he was losing his mind. He leaned forward more and hissed, “How could being confused for being a woman be a good thing?” Alice’s look of confusion intensified. Josh felt his heart thumping across his entire body as he waited for a response. “You look like a woman, babe, so of course someone might call you one.” The world lost its color. The sounds of the restaurant faded away. All Josh could see was Alice’s uncomfortably calm face as his heart beat against his chest. Was he even breathing anymore? This couldn’t be real. Alice’s voice cut through the hanging silence. “I thought you said it would be fun to py around with gender roles and dress up more feminine tonight. I would get you cute outfits at the mall, and then we would go out for dinner after the spa as girlfriends. Like I suggested, remember?” A vague memory fshed through Josh’s mind. He was standing in his apartment. Alice was bbbering about hormones and measurements. He was naked even though they hadn’t had sex or anything. Alice said something about an idea and Josh heard himself agreeing to it in this weird, dreamlike memory. Something told him this was only a few days ago, but it felt like Josh had lived a lifetime since then. Time. How long had he been watching this memory? He needed to respond to Alice. A deep voice in Josh’s mind said, “Men always keep their word.” That’s right. If Josh agreed to this idea, then he had to commit to it. He refocused his eyes on Alice. He needed to tread carefully. He couldn’t let her know that he hadn’t been listening to her before, but he also needed to make sure he kept his word. Not to mention he needed to find a way to end this ridiculous facade and make sure it never happened again. Alice spoke first, “You don’t remember at all, do you?” Alice looked so incredibly sad. This was terrible for Josh. How could he have sex with his hot girlfriend if she wasn’t perfectly happy? “No, no. Of course I remember,” Josh said, “This just isn’t what I was expecting.” “It wasn’t what I was expecting either,” Alice said, “but I think you turned out great.” Josh couldn’t stand that grinning face gring at him. Not a single thing about this situation could even be remotely confused as being good. He said, “Turned out great? My feet hurt, I have to wear this stupid jacket so people can’t see my bra straps, and my hair feels all funny. And to top it off, everyone thinks I’m a woman when I’m not.” Alice leaned forward and spoke in a hushed voice. “Babe, are you okay?” That was more like it. This is the kind of response a woman should have when her boyfriend is confused for being a woman. However, he needed to keep the mood calm and light. If Alice thought he was weak and fragile, that could just as easily turn her off. Josh replied, “I mean, I’m fine. It’s just, maybe, I’m really uncomfortable.” Alice reached across the table and took Josh’s hand in hers. “Jen,” she said, “I never meant to make you uncomfortable.” Alice let out a slight chuckle. “What did you think was happening when I gave you those clothes?” “I don’t know. I thought they were stylish and you seemed happy when I put them on.” Josh’s body felt a bit lighter. “That’s because you look hot babe!” Alice said. “But, you shouldn’t force yourself into anything just to make me happy.” A voice in Josh’s mind replied, “Of course we should. Otherwise people will leave us. Alone.” Josh stayed quiet. Alice looked around the restaurant. “Well, look,” she said, “we haven’t ordered yet, so we can totally get up and go back home right now so you can change out of these clothes. We can order delivery from somewhere and watch a movie on the couch.” Jen felt lighter than air. A warmth spread throughout his body all stemming from the care and affection he felt from his girlfriend. “We could finish dinner I guess,” Jen said. “You sure?” Jen thought about it some more. He felt so conflicted inside. Part of him was happy to be out with Alice. And the clothes didn’t really feel like a big deal. It’s not like he was around anyone he knew. Besides Alice. But he also couldn’t shake this awful feeling that something terrible was going to happen. They replied, “I don’t want to ruin the date or anything.” Alice shook her head forcefully. “You don’t need to worry about that at all. We’ll do whatever makes you feel comfortable and safe. Of course…” Alice trailed off for a moment. “Well, I should tell you about the surprise I had pnned for after dinner. I don’t want you to find out after it’s too te and then realize you would have been fine going.” Jen sat up in his chair and perked his ears. Alice continued, “There’s a movie theater close by doing a special showing of the original Jurassic Park film in some sort of remastered edition. I reserved seats for us.” Fireworks went off in Josh’s mind. “Are you serious?” he almost shouted. Alice chuckled. “I’m guessing that means you still want to go?” Josh thought about it quickly. A part of him still really wanted to run back home and hide under his bnket, but another part of him saw the vision. He’d be in a movie theater with the lights off. Everyone would be too focused on the masterpiece of Jurassic Park to even notice the freak hiding among them. He nodded his head. “Yeah, I can do that.” He paused. A familiar tingle pyed in his mind. “The only thing is, I don’t want anyone to figure out I’m lying to them.” “Lying about what?” Josh leaned forward and whispered. “About being a woman.” “Oh.” Josh started rubbing his hands together nervously. “If anyone found out, they could call the cops. Or put me on social media. Or call my boss. Or,” Alice interrupted, “Jen.” Josh snapped to attention. “It’s fine. I’ll handle ordering the food. The waiter already thinks you’re a woman, so no problem there. Then, at the theater, all you have to do is sit in a dark room. You’ll be fine.” She was right. Josh knew she was right. He could totally pass at being a woman as long as he kept his mouth shut. Wait. Suddenly the waiter appeared out of nowhere. He muttered some French gibberish and Alice replied. She turned to Josh, “Did you get a chance to look at the menu? We should order now so we can make the movie on time.” This is exactly what Josh was worried about. He tried to silently communicate to Alice that he had not looked at the menu and that she was being an asshole for trying to get him to out himself as a man in front of the entire restaurant. He twitched his face and put an awkward smile on as he shook his head very subtly. Thankfully, Alice seemed to get his message. “I can order for you if you want.” Josh nodded his vigorously. Alice turned back to the waiter and spoke in French gibberish really quickly while pointing at the menu. After what felt like an eternity, the man left their table. Alice seemed totally calm. “Why did you do that?” Josh asked. “Do what?” Alice replied. “Try to get me to talk in front of everyone. I just said I didn’t want anyone to find out I’m man.” Josh felt a strange pull in his gut at those words, but he didn’t have time to explore it. Alice seemed confused. “Your voice is fine as it is babe. Especially with how you look.” “What are you talking about? Anyone who heard me would obviously know I was a man.” A few moments fshed through Josh’s mind of being called “ma’am” over the phone, but he decided those were obviously outliers. Alice replied, “If you’re really that nervous about it, you could try the “E” trick.” “What’s that?” “I heard someone call it “speaking in the ‘E’ of your voice” before. It’s supposedly a way to make your voice instantly sound more feminine.” “What do I do?” “First, make an ‘A’ sound. Then you hold that note while transitioning from A to I to E.” Josh tried it out a few times until Alice approved. “Great, now feel where your throat muscles are in that ‘E’ sound. Try to hold that position and say some words.” “Like this?” Josh asked. “Almost. Don’t worry about trying to raise your pitch. Not all women have high squeaky voices you know. Speak in sort of a whisper; a softer voice instead of higher pitched.” “I don’t know, this feels sort of weird.” “Do it with the ‘E’ sound!” Josh sighed. He tightened his throat and tried again. “I don’t know, speaking this low feels like a mistake. Shouldn’t my voice be higher pitched?” Alice’s eyes widened. “Holy shit. Talk more.” Josh felt a little uncomfortable, but part of him felt happy to oblige. “What should I say?” Alice put her hands against the sides of her head. “That’s incredible.” Josh didn’t get what the big deal was. He sounded like a weird cartoon character whenever he spoke. “I don’t know,” he said, “maybe I can get by with being a mute for tonight.” “Jen, trust me, I don’t think anybody will confuse you for being a man if you speak like that.” That was nice to hear. But, shouldn’t he feel bad? Men should be manly. They shouldn’t be confused for women. It definitely shouldn’t be as easy as doing a stupid voice. Josh felt like his brain was getting mixed up again. Alice continued, “Hey, let’s practice a bit more before the food comes out.” She paused and thought for a moment. “What was it like being on the baseball team? You’ve mentioned it a couple of times before, but I haven’t heard many stories.” Josh focused on his throat muscles before answering. He might need this voice to save him ter tonight, so practicing now was a good idea. “Baseball was awesome. Hearing the crack of the bat against the ball. Hearing all the cheering fans in the crowd. Practice was never too terrible either. It was sort of like getting to py catch all the time.” “What position were you?” “Catcher. It’s actually one of the most important roles on the team. You’re basically the first and st line of defense against people scoring. And staying in that squatted position for hours and hours is really difficult.” “I can imagine. What were your friends on the team like?” Josh scoffed. “Those guys? They were total losers.” “Voice dear,” Alice said. She had a confused look on her face. “If the guys were losers, why did you stay on the team then?” Jen felt his heart flutter. He saw a young man’s face glowing in his mind’s eye. “Well,” Jen said, “there was this one guy who was pretty cool.” Alice’s eyes sparkled. “Ooh, an ex-boyfriend perhaps?” Josh replied, “No. We were just bros.” “Voice dear.” Josh took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and focused back on his throat. He had to change the way he thought about speaking to get it to sound the way Alice wanted. “We were just,” Jen struggled to find a word to accurately describe their retionship. “Malcolm was basically my best friend, I guess.” Alice replied, “Tell me everything.” Jen started, “Well, freshman year on the team was really rough. I didn’t get to py at all and all the guys on the team were kind of jerks because I was small and couldn’t hit the ball very far. But the next year, this new student showed up: Malcolm. He was some big time pitcher who had come to the school for his senior year to work with the team’s coach before trying to get into the major leagues.” Alice interjected, “Oh wow, a senior.” She had a strange look on her face. “What happened next?” “I don’t know,” Jen said, “Malcolm kind of instantly liked me or something. I don’t think he even knew I was on the team when he approached me that first week of school.” Jen felt a vague memory pying in his mind of Malcolm complementing his hair. “I think he liked my hair or something. Since I didn’t py much, I let my hair grow out a little because I was zy. It wasn’t anywhere close to as long as it is now, but he seemed to like it.” “Cute.” Jen blushed. Talking about his hair drew his attention to his current hairstyle. He regretted not getting a chance to take a better look at it at the salon. He quickly ran his fingers through his wavy locks and rubbed a few strands against his cheek. It was such a calming feeling; it felt familiar. “Anyways, Malcolm didn’t need to worry about making friends so quickly. He was tall, athletic, and super handsome. All the girls kept flirting with him and the guys always wanted to hang out with him. But Malcolm would always invite me to pces, so everyone kind of had to be nice to me if they wanted Malcolm’s attention.” Alice interjected again, “Did the two of you ever hang out by yourselves?” Josh replied, “Of course. I’d go over to his house to py video games or watch movies. Malcolm was actually the one who introduced me to Jurassic Park. We were talking over dinner once and,” Alice cut in. “Wait, over dinner?” “Yeah, like I said, Malcolm was a senior, and he had a car, so after school he would drive me to dinner sometimes. Maybe once or twice a week.” “Always just the two of you?” Alice asked. Josh wasn’t sure what Alice was getting at. She had this strange smirk on her face. He said, “Yeah, just the two of us. Like I said, the guy was sort of obsessed with me for no reason. But I wasn’t going to turn down free food.” Alice chuckled. “He always paid for the food?” “Yeah,” Josh replied, “I mean, I kept offering, but he would always sneak around and find a way to pay before I got a chance.” Alice failed to stifle her ughter. “Okay babe,” she said, “go on.” Josh rolled his eyes. “Like I was saying, we were talking over dinner and somehow it came up that I’d never seen the original Jurassic Park. Since it was Friday, instead of driving me home, Malcolm brought me back to his house and we watched the movie together.” They could almost feel Malcolm running his hands through Josh’s hair as he recalled the moment. Jen continued, “I wasn’t big into thrill or action stuff back then, so the dinosaurs were a little shocking, but Malcolm didn’t care that I kept grabbing onto him during the scary moments.” He felt a grin spreading across his face. Alice said, “He sounds like a really good friend.” Jen nodded his head. “He was.” Jen felt strange as he thought about why he and Malcolm had stopped being friends. It almost felt like the answer was sitting behind a locked door that wouldn’t open no matter how hard Jen pulled at it. Thankfully, the waiter showed up with their food, so Jen didn’t have to worry about that weird locked door in his mind. Alice ordered herself a buttery lobster dish with some sort of red sauce. Jen looked at his rge sad with small bits of perfectly cooked, juicy steak on top. It looked delicious. “Anyways,” Jen continued, “After that, Malcolm and I got even closer. He started practicing with me after school before the season started so that I could be a better catcher. When training started, he always insisted on being my training partner even though he could lift way more than me.” A vague thought flitted through Jen’s mind. He saw himself loading over 200 pounds onto the bench press and cheering Malcolm on as he pressed the weight. “That’s right,” Jen thought to himself, “Malcolm was the one who lifted big weight.” He must have been confused because he had all these memories of loading heavy weight onto bars, but it must have been because he was setting things up for Malcolm all the time. Jen snapped himself out of the reverie. He continued, “All the extra training paid off. I got to py in a few games that year even though I was still only a sophomore.” Jen felt another memory surface. He was timidly standing in the coach’s office. Malcolm was standing in front of him and angrily talking to the coach about something. “Babe?” he heard. Josh felt his eyes blinking rapidly. “Huh? What? Yeah, sorry. What was I talking about?” Alice replied, “You’re telling me about Malcolm.” Josh said, “Right, um, yeah. He was a total bro. We pyed games, watched movies, and worked out together.” Josh could feel warmth spreading across his body as he recalled all of his and Malcolm’s adventures that year. “He was a total prankster too.” “Voice dear.” Josh felt all the muscles in his arms tense. This staying in character thing felt so weird and uncomfortable, but he couldn’t back out now. “I was saying that he was super funny and clever.” Josh continued, “The most popur guy in school was this football pyer. He was throwing a costume party for Halloween because his family was, like, super rich. Malcolm suggested we go together and tease the guy a little. You see, the football pyer’s girlfriend was the head cheerleader, plus the guy was Bck and she was White, so Malcolm thought it would be hirious if we dressed up as them for the party.” Josh grinned as he witnessed Alice struggle to grasp how funny Malcolm’s joke was. She said, “You went to a party dressed as a cheerleader?” “Yeah!” Josh replied, “Malcolm came in pads and a jersey and I wore the school’s cheerleader outfit; the girl’s version though.” “And you were totally fine dressing like a girl? In front of everyone.” “I mean, yeah,” Josh replied. He wasn’t sure what Alice was trying to suggest. “It was totally different from this,” he gestured at himself. “I was making fun of the popur kids with my best friend.” “I don’t get how you dressing up as a girl made fun of them.” Now Josh understood where Alice was going wrong. “No, no, no,” he said, “We didn’t only dress up like them. We actually pretended to be them. We did all sorts of cringey couple-type stuff to make fun of how cutesy and silly they were. For example, we would hold hands all the time, I sat on Malcolm’s p when we pyed a board game instead of sitting next to him, and we kept loudly prociming how much we loved each other in silly voices.” Josh didn’t think Alice understood. She was staring at him with this absolutely dumbfounded expression. “You’re still not getting it,” Josh said, “the two people we were mocking were super lovey-dovey all the time at school. They’d be rushing in between csses to hold each other’s hands for a few minutes. They were always making out beneath the bleachers and acting like it was some secret even though everyone knew what they were doing. Malcolm said the underside of the bleachers was really cool, but every time he tried to show me, we would run into them or some other couple. I think that’s what gave Malcolm the idea in the first pce, so he and I were being obvious about it to make fun of them.” Alice’s eyes got really wide all of a sudden. “Did Malcolm kiss you?” She asked. Josh ughed. “Are you kidding?” he said, “Of course he didn’t kiss me.” Josh shook his head. “This was all a game Alice. There’s no way I would kiss a guy in public.” Josh felt a weird twinge in his neck. Why did he specify “in public”? He didn’t kiss guys at all. Alice’s face went back a to comfortable neutral pce. “Oh, I mean, with everything else, it sounded like you guys were really committed to the joke or whatever.” Josh shrugged his shoulders. “It went over great. Everybody got a big ugh, and people were still talking about it the next week.” Josh leaned his hand against his cheek and stared into the distance. “Yeah,” he said, “those days were awesome.” Alice wiped her mouth with her napkin. “Thanks for sharing,” she said, “but we’ve got to go if we want to get snacks and stuff before the movie.” Josh looked down at his food. He’d barely touched his sad, but that wasn’t a big deal; sad was me food anyways. He quickly shoved the st piece of steak in his mouth and stood up from the table. Then he immediately sat back down when he realized that they still needed to pay the check. Thankfully Alice was able to handle all of that while Josh made himself as small as possible so the waiter didn’t try to talk to him. Even though he’d been practicing, he didn’t feel comfortable using the girl-voice with anyone except Alice. ————————————————————————— Josh wasn’t prepared for what he saw at the movie theater. The cinema was completely decked out in Jurassic Park style. They had the same rge gates from the movie in front of the entrance. There were inftable dinosaurs slowly wobbling in the wind spread around the parking lot. There were several food trucks and picnic tables set up outside. Josh almost leapt out of the car when Alice parked. The way he was dressed completely left his mind as he wandered towards the glorious scene in front of him. It was only when someone grabbed his hand and pulled him away from a moving car that reality snapped back into focus. Alice spun Josh around to face her. “Are you okay?” she said in a panic. Josh turned his head to look back at the theater. It looked so amazing; he needed to get over there as fast as possible. “Yeah,” he replied, “sorry. I spaced out for a second there.” Alice chuckled and took Josh’s hand in hers. “I guess this means you’re gd you chose to stay out,” Alice said. Josh nodded his head vigorously. “This is amazing!” He turned to look Alice in the eyes as they walked. “Thank you so much for finding this!” Alice grinned. The inside of the theater was even cooler than the outside. They had rge posters from all the different movies as well as different signs Josh remembered being in the park in the film. There were pces to take photos with cardboard cutouts of the different characters and the iconic velociraptors. Josh didn’t think his eyes could contain all the amazing sights. Then Josh saw him. Josh’s body moved on instinct to hide behind Alice. This couldn’t be happening. Not now. Not when he looked like…this. “What’s wrong?” Alice asked. Josh pulled himself closer to Alice’s body. She was a big girl; it was Josh’s best chance at remaining hidden. In fact, maybe Josh was confused. There’s no way it could be the same guy. Josh peeked his head around to double-check. Gym Bro. He was standing with a group of other men. They were ughing and talking as they waited in line to take a photo with the dinosaur cutouts. Josh felt his heart beating faster and faster in his chest. It didn’t seem like Gym Bro had noticed them yet. He was too busy showing off his wonderful biceps and stretching his super wide back that Josh could easily climb onto. He looked so happy and beautiful as he ughed. “Babe, you okay?” Nope. He was definitely not okay. Josh shook his head and felt a voice manage to squeak past his lips to say, “There’s a guy staring at me.” He felt himself being pulled aside. His heart was drumming in his ears. He still wasn’t sure if Gym Bro saw him. He heard a door close before being spun around to face Alice. He tried to focus on her face. She looked so concerned. “You’re okay. It’s fine.” He heard. “Is it a guy you know?” Josh nodded his head. He managed to say, “I don’t think he recognized me, but…” Josh looked down at himself. He felt the weird clothes rubbing and scratching against his skin as he moved. He was wearing this weird costume; pretending to be something he could never be. “With how I’m dressed, he’s going to tell everyone.” “Is it a guy from work? If he does something we can talk to your boss. He can’t just be allowed to harass you.” “No, he’s from my gym. He saw Josh in the men’s locker room, and if he sees,” Jen paused to gesture to his body, “this now, then I don’t know what will happen.” “It’s okay, he can’t see you in here.” In here? In where? Jen looked around the room. He was in a bathroom, but he didn’t see any urinals. He started twisting and turning. It felt like sweat was leaking out of every pore on his body. “Am I in the women’s bathroom?” He scream-whispered. He saw Alice holding her palms toward him as if he were some kind of wild animal that needed to be calmed down. “Shh, shh,” he heard. “It’s fine, we’re the only two people in here right now.” “But, what if someone comes in?” Josh said. He could feel his deep, masculine voice coming out. He couldn’t stay focused enough to use the other one. “I can’t go to prison Alice. Not dressed like this.” Alice stepped forward and held Josh by his shoulders. Josh continued, “A woman is going to come in here and drag me out into the street and then the cops will come and I’ll be beled a freak by everybody.” His eyes were blurring over. The scene he was describing felt more real than anything he’d ever experienced. He couldn’t afford to go to prison right now. All the men would think he was weak and small and an easy target. Then they might confuse his fbby chest for boobs and their insatiable lust would take over. He could see it so clearly. He was kneeling on the concrete floor surrounded by rge, shirtless, ripped men. These were the real dangerous types of criminals. The same kind that they send little perverted freaks like Josh to be around. The men would rip Josh’s clothing from his body and expose his weird curves and squishiness to everyone. But the men wouldn’t stop there. “Babe? Babe!” Josh could almost feel two of the men holding his arms by his side while the biggest one, the leader, slowly walked towards him. The man would unzip his pants and let his throbbing, unreasonably rge cock free. Josh knew what he had to do, but he didn’t want to do it. All because he was took weak to face stupid Gym Bro and stupid Alice taking him to the stupid women’s bathroom. “Jen!” Suddenly, he felt himself being spun around. Someone grabbed his head and forced him to stare at the mirror. “What do you see?” he heard. Josh scanned the mirror for some sort of clue for how he was going to escape this situation. Maybe there was an emergency exit. Or a secret passageway. All he saw was some scared-looking woman standing in front of Alice. He blinked his eyes. Was he seeing this right? He’d never stopped to get a good look at himself in months. “Is that, me?” He felt himself ask. Alice’s voice reverberated in Josh’s ears. “Of course that’s you dear. But, do you see the same person I see?” “Who do you see?” He felt himself ask. “I see my strong, confident partner. I see a person who loves Jurassic Park and wanted to come see this movie even though they were a little uncomfortable. I see a person with a loving girlfriend standing behind them. I see a person who looks beautiful and stunning.” Jen nodded his head. That was true. The person in the mirror was definitely all of those things. Alice continued, “I see a person who has been told that the way they want to be is wrong. But I also see that person trying really hard to be themselves again.” Jen turned around to look up into Alice’s eyes. He could feel tears welling up in his own. “I see a person that I love, and I want them to know I won’t let anything bad happen to them.” That was too much. Jen was too overwhelmed and had to let the tears flow as he wrapped his arms around his wonderful girlfriend. He felt the secure, firm hold of Alice’s arms holding him tight. He wasn’t sure how long they held each other, but, eventually, Jen felt better enough to let go. “Thank you,” he said, “I’m sorry for freaking out. I don’t know what got into me.” “Jen, it’s fine.” Alice kissed him on his forehead. “And the offer still stands. If you want to leave right now, then that’s what we’ll do.” Jen shook his head. “No,” he said, “I can do this.” He turned around and looked in the mirror once more. He stepped back a little to admire his appearance. The women at the salon had done a wonderful job making his hair into elegant waves. His skin looked clear and blemish free. As he reached up to touch it, he couldn’t even feel the usual stubble on his chin. In fact, as Jen took survey of how his body really felt, he could tell he was practically hairless from the neck down. The soft fabric of his clothes felt really nice against his skin. His clothes. Jen took a harder look at them. The jacket he wore was jet bck with a deep V that ended directly above his belly button. The shoulders were pointed and the waist cinched which gave Jen a highlighted hourgss shape. And his hips. He turned back and forth to get a look at different angles. When had his hips become so plump and round? He ran his hands along his legs, up his waist and torso, before finally nding on his breasts. Something in Jen’s mind was telling him this feeling was wrong, but that didn’t sit right with him. His breasts felt good. They looked good. Sure, he technically looked pretty female, but women were pretty. He smiled. It couldn’t be wrong to enjoy looking beautiful. Jen nodded his head in confidence. “I want to stay for the movie,” he decred. He took hold of Alice’s hand. “Let’s get snacks and find our seats. Just, try to stay between me and the guy,” he said nervously. Alice asked, “Which one is he?” Jen led her to the door and peeked outside. Gym Bro and his friends were talking to some girl on the other side of the room. “That one,” Jen said, “he’s the tallest in the group. Blonde hair.” “I see him. Mission accepted.” They stepped outside the bathroom and calmly walked to the concession line. Jen could still feel nerves swirling around his body, but he felt much calmer than he had earlier. Some of his thoughts were starting to sort themselves properly in his mind. Including… “Alice,” Jen said, “did you say you loved me in the bathroom?” Alice let out a nervous chuckle. “I mean, sort of. Th-that is, like, that’s one way it could be interpreted.” “You definitely called yourself my loving girlfriend.” “Right, which is to say that I care about you a lot and…well. Saying that is a big step, and you’re feeling a lot of things right now. Probably overwhelming things. So, we don’t need to talk about this right now.” Jen couldn’t help but giggle. It was fun to finally see Alice a bit flustered for once. She was usually so solid and calm. “I love you too,” Jen said. Alice snapped her head towards Jen with her eyes glistening. She immediately reached into her purse and pulled out a tissue to dab at her tears. “Babe,” she said, “I’m going to ruin my makeup. I paid a lot of money for this.” They both ughed. Alice took a big breath. “Yes, Jen, I love you. I think you’re a wonderful person.” Jen rocked forward onto his toes and leaned his head back for a kiss which Alice gratefully gave to him. The nasty feeling swirling inside of his chest felt a little weaker now. They didn’t encounter any problems while at the theater. They got a big box of popcorn to share. Jen got a slushie drink, and Alice got a soda. The actual theater had reserved seats, and they were in the direct center of the screen thanks to Alice’s hard work and pnning. Jen kept his eye on the doors as people filed in, but he never saw Gym Bro enter while the lights were still on. He assumed Gym Bro and his posse would come in during the previews. As the movie started, Jen had a short moment where he tried to recall the st time he was in a movie theater. Thanks to streaming, low wages, and video games, he recalled that Josh didn’t spend a lot of time going out to watch movies. Not to mention he didn’t have anyone to go with. Was the st time they went to a movie in theaters in high school? That sounded right, but it also made Jen feel so sad. He remembered his time going to the theater being really comforting and rexing. A memory clicked in Jen’s mind. He quietly slipped his feet out of his heels and put the arm rest between him and Alice up. Then he curled his feet into the seat and cuddled against Alice’s shoulder. She gave Jen a quick smile in return. This was perfect. Jen was watching his favorite movie with his favorite person. Life was beautiful; just like him. The movie was even better than Jen remembered it. It was almost like watching it for the first time all over again. He found himself jumping at the parts where the dinosaurs attacked. And the T-Rex scene had his heart racing and pounding in all the good ways. Then the scene with Jeff Goldbloom. How could he have forgotten such a beautiful man id out and glistening? Jen didn’t notice when she’d done it, but Alice had her arm wrapped around his body; holding him tight. During some quieter moments of the film, Alice would graze her hand across Jen’s sensitive breasts. Jen struggled to stay quiet and hold his moans inside, but that only made the sensations more intense. He was quivering and shaking during Alice’s few minutes of teasing. When Alice slid her hand underneath Jen’s shirt to graze the top of his quivering flesh with her fingers, he couldn’t stand it any longer and had to start nibbling on Alice’s neck in return. This quickly led to Alice turning her head to kiss Jen’s lips. Then Alice firmly grabbed Jen’s hair. Jen contorted himself in the chair for a more comfortable position. “Shhh.” Alice and Jen both broke apart and stifled their ughter. Jen wiggled back into the cuddle position and let his heart rate calm down just in time for the final climax of the movie. Scares, cuddling, awesome dinosaurs, and kissing time? This was exactly how he remembered watching Jurassic Park. They made it out of the theater no problem. Jen never saw Gym Bro again. A part of him was sad at that because he quite liked looking at Gym Bro from afar. He was a gorgeous man after all. Jen enjoyed the ccking sound of his and Alice’s heels as they walked across the parking lot together. He smoothly slid into the passenger seat and double checked that he still had his purse with him. Alice started the car. “So,” she asked, “did you enjoy yourself?” Jen fshed a huge grin at his wonderful girlfriend. “I had so much fun!” he excimed, “Thank you so much for pnning this whole day.” Jen reached over and squeezed Alice’s hand. “Of course babe,” Alice replied, “but I still have one st activity in mind.” “Oh?” Alice had a sly grin on her face that made Jen feel a little nervous, but also really excited. Alice said, “I hope you had a rexing day and aren’t too tired because…” Alice suddenly leaned across the center console, wrapped her fingers into Jen’s hair, and pulled Jen into an intense and passionate kiss. When Alice finally let him go, Jen had to gasp for air. Alice continued, “I’m going to work you until your body gives out when we get home.” Jen’s eyes widened in absolute glee. He said in his softer, quiet voice. “Yes please.” Alice managed to break into an even bigger grin as she started the car and sped out of the parking lot. Jen had to hurriedly put his seat belt on and sit back as he heard the engine roar as Alice drove them home. The whole time, he had one thought repying in his mind. I’m the luckiest guy in the world.
