She had a restless night’s sleep for the first time in a very long time. She had been anticipating unlocking the system to verify whether she retained some or all her stats. Today she would figure out if the training regimen she had planned was feasible or not. She felt like she wouldn’t have a problem. When Natalie came to get her up and ready she was already awake.
“Good morning miss, happy birthday.” Natalie said in a very chipper voice. “Very big day today, and it looks like you were too excited to sleep.”
“Yeah, today and tomorrow are big days, today I unlock the system, and tomorrow I hire an alchemy teacher and commission my first set of gear with father. I hope he lets me get some armor that doesn’t stand out as much.”
“Why would you not want to show off your status miss?”
“I won’t mind it when I’m fully grown, I just feel like it’s a waste of gold to get extravagant armor that I’ll outgrow in about a year.”
“You might be right miss; however, your father has plenty of gold, he could buy you new armor every year and hardly make a dent.”
The entire time they were talking Natalie was brushing out her hair. She dressed her in a red dress that went down to her ankles, it had black trim around the neck, bottom and forearms where the sleeves ended just past the elbows. She was so tired of wearing dresses and knew that the days of that were about to become limited with her training and doing alchemy, what with the chance of it blowing up on her and ruining her dress, she could get away with trousers and a tunic.
After tying her dress on the back, Natalie started curling her hair, it took about fifteen minutes, cutting it close with getting to breakfast at eight. Her silver hair made it to her shoulders when curly and she much preferred it either this way or in a braid, however her father didn’t like her wearing it in a braid for some reason. She would get to more often because it would keep it out of her way, and she was looking forward to it.
She walked down the stairs, across the great hall and into the dining room where her father was already seated at one end of the table, however her mother wasn’t around.
“Good morning father, where is mother?”
“She is having trouble getting ready for the day, this pregnancy is much rougher on her than you were. She said she would be down by eight thirty.”
She sat down to the left of her father as Arthur brought out two plates and set them in front of her and her father. On the plate were fried eggs, bacon and hash browns. This seemed like the farthest thing from a noble breakfast, however, she had learned a while ago that bacon and eggs were hard to come by if you didn’t have money. Even low ranked adventurers only ate like this a couple days a week. She started slowly eating her breakfast, father didn’t like it when she ate fast. Halfway through breakfast her mother slowly came down the stairs while Nicole helped her.
“How are you feeling love?”
“I’m fine, it’s just slow getting around, I think if should stay down here in the guest suit until I have the baby. Those stairs are getting harder and harder to navigate and I’m keeping you up half the night.”
“That’s nonsense, you’re not keeping me up at night, but if you want to stay in the guest suit feel free to do so. I will make sure to have a second bed put in there by the end of the day so Nicole can stay with you until the baby comes.”
While they were talking Arthur came out and placed a plate on the other side of father. Mother sat down and started eating slowly as well, breakfast passed by quickly and soon they were sitting in the drawing room while Walter brought in a small cage with a bunny in it and set it down in the middle of the room.
Elora’s father handed her a sword and she walked up to the cage. As she approached the cage the bunny started flailing around trying to get to her, when it couldn’t break out of the cage it glared at her and she stabbed the bunny in the eye. The bunny died instantly, and she got a notification:

Slayer of the Mighty: You have slayed something 100 levels above your own, this is an extraordinary feat few have achieved. +10% to all stats
“Wow, four whole levels for the kill, and I feel like I’m close to a fifth.”
“If it had been a higher tiered beast, you would have gotten at least eight, that’s why I hunted until I found a level one-hundred inferior beast, so that you would get the least amount of experience possible.”
Walter stored the cage and corpse in his storage ring. Afterwards Natalie came up and used cleaning to remove the blood from the floor. Elora decided to finally, after twelve years, open up her status:

She held back a smile while looking at her status, she retained her full strength and now got to start completely over, her growth once she got out of the house was going to be insane because she would be able to fight far above her level. She would have to invest all her free points into toughness for now, never again would she allow herself to be practically one-shot by an enemy like she was in her previous life. Her current skill leveling plan would be dangerous, one hit would kill her, however, her speed was much faster than before. She knew that stats were qualitative, but because she was a high elf born to B-grade high elves she was born in D-grade, giving her stats that leg up on the beasts her level and even with those she would use to train her skills.
“Elora dear, here are those skill books I have acquired for you,” father said, waving his hand over the table and causing four books to appear.
“Thank you, father,” she said as she went and picked up the first book and injected mana into it:
Would you like to learn the skill Brew Potion?
Y/N
She thought yes and the book crumbled in her hands:
You have unlocked the skill Brew Potion
She proceeded to do the same thing with the other three books:
You have unlocked the skill Chain Lightning
You have unlocked the skill Lightning Bolt
You have unlocked the skill Channel Lightning
She knew what chain lightning and lightning bolt did, chain lightning would send a current into an enemy and from them into surrounding enemies depending on the skill level, while lightning bolt was like dark bolt, you summon a bolt of lightning mana and launch it at your enemy, but she only had ideas what channel lightning could do so she checked the description:
Channel Lightning (LVL 1): channel lightning threw your body, enhancing movement speed and imbuing your attacks with lightning, can be channeled through a weapon. The effects of Channel Lightning are dependent on Intelligence and skill level. It cost 200 mana per second. Leveling this skill reduces cost and increases damage.
“These skills are very good father, thank you very much.”
“I plan on getting you the basic resistance skills tomorrow while we are in town. It appears the physical and magical resistance skills I had saved for you were taken by another member of the family for their child and I only had the one set left.”
“Thank you, father.”
“Why don’t you go ahead and head over to the adventurer’s guild and rent a training room to start training your skills, tell them I said to give you the best room they have and pay the going rate for it, there should be plenty of gold in this necklace.”
He pulled a beautiful white gold necklace out of his pocket with a green gem imbedded into the pendant dangling from it.
“It matches your eyes and has a very large storage capacity, it even grants you some wisdom and intelligence, you may not be able to get the full effects of it right now, but you will grow into it.”
She took the necklace from him and used identify on it:
Emerald Storage Necklace (Epic): A necklace crafted by an aspiring jeweler, it has been imbued with the spatial storage enchantment and has a large storage capacity. Enchantments: Spatial storage, +200 Wisdom, +150 Intelligence. Requirements: D-grade in any humanoid race.
She put the necklace on, “Thank you, father. It is beautiful and should last me for a while to come.” I’ve already almost met the limit for intelligence and wisdom isn’t too far off either. I can’t wait to be able to gear myself out after I reach my full size, I’m only twelve and female elves normally stop growing at sixteen, maybe seventeen. I think by then I will be needing C-grade gear at least. Once I hit B-grade I’ll have to leave this planet, otherwise I will stagnate in my strength like father and mother have done, and we can’t have that. I will achieve godhood and become immortal. I wonder how long I was dead before I reincarnated, would anybody I knew on Earth still be alive? Can I even go there since it’s clearly under a different system? Is it even in the same universe as me assuming there is a multiverse?
She imbued the necklace with mana to look in the spatial storage. There is ten thousand gold in this necklace, I’m pretty sure I could rent the best training room for at least a week with these funds.
“I will see you later father, I’m going to go train.”
“Have fun testing out your new skills.”
She went upstairs and changed quickly; she was not training in a damn dress. She put on a tunic and trousers along with a pair of leather boots. She left her hair curly since she was just going to be training with dummies instead of fighting. She went downstairs and walked out the front door, heading towards the city center where the adventurer’s guild is located.
