The worm hissed at my mind asking if it could take a bit of blood, I sighed and allowed for it, I could feel it's happiness as it drank my blood while I go back inside.

I could feel it happily swimming in my bloodstream and drinking my blood, after a while it started to sleep which made the energy consumption lower a bit.

I really hate taboo users, they are just annoying cockroaches that use abilities that go against Mana and Aether.

It doesn't matter though, the conventional way of strength is still superior than using Taboo abilities that can make you lose yourself.
I stayed on top of the dragon for a while before I took more of it's blood, after that I put on my mask and went to the nearest town, Since I killed a Water Dragin King, the Ocean sect nay try to fight me but it would be futile if they did.

Getting up from bed, the First thing I did was go and get breakfast then I went to the nearby butchers shop.
"You want blood?. How many gallons." The butcher asker nonchalantly, it seems he has had dealings with vampires, I haven't interacted with him before.

The butcher scratched his chin, eyes scanning me with mild curiosity. “Thirty Ure, huh? That’ll get you just under half a gallon. Not much, but it’s fresh.”
I nodded. “That’ll do.”
He didn’t ask questions, just went to the back and returned with a tightly sealed jug, crimson liquid sloshing faintly inside. I handed over the coins, feeling the weight of my thinning pouch. I'd need more work soon.
As I stepped out, Sang stirred in my veins, almost purring in response to the scent of the blood.

I took a hidden alleyway and opened the container, pouring a small portion into a cracked bowl I’d carried in my coat. The worm came out feom my palm and drank greedily, and for a moment I could feel a rush of warmth through my body, like a tiny ember being stoked inside my chest. My vision sharpened slightly, and my limbs felt just a little lighter.

It was half complete but it looked...menacing, now that I look closer to it I feel a strange chilling sensation, what the hell is this?.
While I was absentminded, my boss tapped my shoulder. "Sal, the mayor ordered that workers below sixteen cannot work at the construction site now, so I am sorry to say that you are fired—but here is your pay for your time working here."
I blinked, I lost my job as soon as I realised something was wrong with this entire tower, I did not refuse nor talk to the man, I took my money and left.
After reaching home, I counted the money and it was over 500 ure. The mayor was...generous but I don't think he would give this much.
But...would he. "I have free time I guess, should I try testing my skills later."
Maybe i could buy a fighting technique with this much money.
