[THE NEXT DAY]
~AT MILLENNIUM CO.~
Xanqer stormed into the meeting room, his employees scrambling to their feet as he approached. His face was a thundercloud, dark and foreboding, and his eyes flashed with anger.
"What is the meaning of this?" he thundered, slamming the file on the conference table. The room shook, and his employees trembled in fear.
"I-I'm sorry, sir," stuttered one of the employees, a man named Wang. "We made a mistake in the proposal. It was an honest error, and we'll do everything we can to fix it."
Xanqer's expression didn't change, but his eyes seemed bore into his like ice picks, making him shiver. "An honest error?" he repeated, his voice calm, but filled with underlying anger. "You call this an honest error? This proposal is worth millions, and you've ruined it with your carelessness."
The room was silent, the only sound the heavy breathing of Xanqer's employees. They were all afraid of him, and they knew that they were in for a long and painful lecture.
"I don't pay you to make mistakes," Xanqer continued, his voice rising. "I pay you to get the job done. And if you can't do that, then maybe you're not the right people for this company."
Wang and the others looked at each other nervously. They knew that they were walking on thin ice, and that one wrong move could mean the end of their careers.
"We're sorry, sir," Wang repeated, trying to placate Xanqer. "We'll do everything we can to fix this. We'll work day and night to get it right."
Xanqer's expression remained unchanging. He looked at Wang and the others, his eyes cold and unforgiving. "I expect nothing but perfection from my employees," he said. "And if you can't deliver that, then maybe you're not worth keeping around."
The room was silent again, and the employees shuddered in fear, trying to plead for their jobs.

Xanqer's face was still twisted with anger as he continued. "Do you have any idea how much this mistake is going to cost us?" he thundered. "Do you have any idea how much time and effort we're going to have to put in to fix this?"
His employees cowered under his wrath, their eyes cast downward in fear, unable to utter a word.
Just as Xanqer was about to continue his tirade, his phone rang, shrill and insistent. The employees felt a pang of sympathy for whoever was on the other end of the line. They knew Xanqer's wrath was about to be unleashed on someone else.
He glared at the phone, his anger momentarily interrupted. Without even glancing at the name on the screen, he picked up the phone, his voice still rough with anger.
"What?" he barked.
There was silence for a moment before he heard a gentle voice from the other end, laced with a hint of sadness. "Xanqer, what did I do?"
His expression softened as soon as he heard Meesha's voice. He quickly apologized. "I'm sorry, I didn't know it was you."
The employees exchanged confused glances. They had never seen Xanqer's expression change so quickly. In fact, they had never seen Xanqer's expression change before.
"It's alright. Where are you?" Meesha's gentle voice came through the phone, with a hint of excitement. "I'm at your office!"
Xanqer's eyes flickered with a hint of excitement. "Okay, I'll come right now," he said, his voice gentle and solicitous.
As he hung up the phone, his employees exchanged nervous glances. They had never seen Xanqer's demeanor change so quickly, and they couldn't help but wonder who was on the other end of the line.
Xanqer stood up, his movements swift and decisive. "I have to go," he said, his voice stern. "I'll deal with this later."
As he strode out of the meeting room, his employees breathed a collective sigh of relief. They knew that they were off the hook, at least for the time being.
But as they watched Xanqer disappear into the distance, they couldn't help but feel a pang of curiosity. Who was the person who had managed to tame Xanqer's temper so quickly? And what was the nature of their relationship?
As Xanqer walked down the hallway, he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. He had been looking forward to seeing Meesha all day, and he couldn't wait to be with her again.
As he turned a corner, he saw Meesha standing in a distance, looking around uncertainly. She was dressed in a yellow sundress, her hair tied up in a ponytail, and she looked absolutely stunning.
Xanqer gazed at her, and he couldn't help but smile.
Meesha finally spotted him, a bright smile appearing on her face and she ran towards him. Xanqer opened his arms, and Meesha threw herself into them, hugging him tightly.
As they hugged, Xanqer felt a sense of peace wash over him. He had been stressed and angry all day, but being with Meesha made him feel calm and relaxed.
After a moment, Meesha pulled back and looked up at Xanqer. "Xanqer, your office is so huge," she said, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "I couldn't find my way."
Xanqer chuckled and shook his head. "You should have asked the receptionist for directions," he said, his lips curving into a smile.
Meesha nodded, looking sheepish. "I know. I was just too excited to see you."
Xanqer couldn't help but smile. "Let's go to my office," he said, hanging his arm around her shoulders. "We can talk there."
But as they entered his office, Yvette stood at a distance, a scowl on her face. She had been working for Xanqer for years, she had always harbored a secret crush on him.
As she watched Xanqer and Meesha together, she felt a pang of jealousy. Why did Xanqer have to smile and be soft with Meesha, and not with her? She had been trying to impress Xanqer for years, but he had never given her a glance.
Yvette's eyes narrowed as she watched Xanqer and Meesha. She couldn't let Meesha snatch Xanqer away from her. She would do whatever it took to keep Xanqer for herself.
