The big foot descended back to the ground, and I quickly climbed up on what looked like a bridge, with the right side leading to a couple of wooden cabins shaped weirdly, and the left side seemed like it was leading somewhere around the heel of the foot. The guys looked at me, waiting for something to happen.
“Dear Brave Warrior, lead the way!” Mejni said with a smile.
That bastard didn’t want to go first because of the risk of facing early death. I decided to walk to the left, away from the cabins, to avoid confrontation if more four-legged creatures were in the cabins. While walking to the back side, I noticed a very long ladder leading up to another bridge when I came to the end. When I started to climb up the ladder, Mejni quickly hurried and sat on my right shoulder with his tail around my neck. I looked down and saw Lol following me, and it was quite a way up. It startled to rumble before the leg stretched out forward:
“HOLD ON TIGHT LOL!” I screamed as I saw him quickly put his legs behind the ladder so he could hold steady while I was getting choked by the cat. With both of us hanging in the air, I noticed Mejni did not have the same type of smile as usual.
After a moment in the air, the leg returned to its original position, with the other leg starting to move. I quickly grabbed Mejnis's neck and pulled him away to loosen his tail from my throat.
“Get...The fuck of me!” I told Mejni, giving him a stare to make him understand that I had a hard time breathing.
It was apparent that Mejni understood that I was fuming with anger now. I put him back on my right shoulder as he quickly moved behind my back and made himself comfortable, placing his balls towards my neck, pressing and holding with his hands on my head. Inside, I felt so tempted to throw him off. The daggers were dangling in the air under Lol, but I didn’t want to focus on getting that shit up right now.
When we reached the bridge, I threw Mejni to the floor and put the dagger inside my pants behind my back. When we were going to follow the bridge, a guy with a blue headband and a ripped karate-looking outfit looked at us with heavy breathing.
“You know Diabetes is dangerous and can affect your breathing; maybe you should, like...try to calm down and breathe normally.” I tried to explain to the guy.
“For the intrusion of the Kingdom, you are sentenced to death with immediate execution.” The karate guy told us.
“I concur!” Mejni answered, shaking his head while Lol and I stared down at him, surprised by the animal's stupidity.
“Stay behind me!”I whispered to Lol and Mejni and took a few steps forward, preparing for battle.
The guy started to move his hands in a circle. A light blue circle on fire showed up in the air like a magic trick, and something looking like blue signs showed up inside as he screamed out loud:
“YAOOOOH!
A big light blue ball came out from the circle in slow motion, with movement as a progression in the LITRPG story. Shocked by the speed, we could have gone to the cabins and checked it out and come back again, and the ball would still not hit us.
“Eh...Karate! Is the speed of your light ball meant to be what all LITRPG stories are about? From what I can see, it's approaching at the same speed as the progression of their stories. Is it not better to just let us pass? I asked him nicely, hoping he would let us pass if he had any inch of humanity and our sad feelings left inside him.
Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.
The ball kept moving in slow motion in the air, and Lol yawned because he was as surprised as I was. I noticed something shining under the bridge and bent down to see if I could see more clearly through the cracks. It looked like we maybe had found the first ring or circle or whatever we were going to do. When I went up again, I looked around to see if all this wasn’t some trap. The ball started to close in, and I took out the daggers from my back, preparing myself to test and strike the ball and see if it would pop.
When I swung towards the ball, a loud ‘BOOM’ was heard as I lost vision of the ball and the guy because of all the black smoke. I tried to wave away the smoke when I noticed a maid low under me, and when I looked up, I saw a high kick coming from the guy. I dropped the daggers and tried to protect my head as the ground under me cracked, and I didn’t even get a chance to act before I felt the pain on my back as I fell to another bridge that was under us. There was so much force on the hit that I had issues breathing because of the landing on my back.
I gasped for air and quickly tried to get up on all four, trying to catch my breath as I saw Stella fighting with the karate guy above. I could see Lols and Mejni's heads popping out from the edge of the broken bridge above me.
“Are you okay, Berk?” Lol asked.
“That was a hero-like Villain entrance you made!” Mejni commented.
I waved my hand to them and made a thumbs up, signaling that I was OK. I was not OK; that hurt like hell.
I slowly got up from the ground and started to cough blood. I noticed the light I saw earlier was a ring, circle, or whatever. It has to be the first part of the mission. Stella was preoccupied with the karate guy, which was a good sign for me to stab the shit out of the circle.
As I came closer to the circle, a couple of the same karate guys showed up with the same face, all repeating the exact freaking words as the one above had, but they didn’t make a circle and just opened up their mouths as a lot of small light balls got created and moved towards me. They kept creating a lot of balls above and down low to try and stop me from reaching the circle.
I loosened up the rope around my stomach and tied one of the ends with a dagger to my right wrist. I will throw one of the daggers toward the balls like throwing rope; maybe that will make the balls explode and open a way so I can try to throw all of them off and then reach the circle and be the Villain hero. That is a great idea; let's try it out!
I approached the karate guys as their small balls slowly made their way towards me when I heard a scream and turned around:
“FREEDOM!” Mejni yelled out as he jumped towards my head and landed on the side of my head, destroying my whole plan.
His tail blocked my view as I tried balancing my steps, dropping one of the daggers, and trying to remove him from my head. I hit the rail and noticed my body going 180 degrees over it, with my body quickly making a 180-degree turn again, causing extreme pain in my right arm as I was dangling in the air under the bridge.
“Idiot!” I commented, tired of Mejni seeing his tail around my left foot saving himself in the last second when we fell.
Well, we have been in worse situations than this, I suppose. I used my left hand to climb a little bit up and put the rope around my left hand to get a good grip. I loosened the knot on my right wrist, hoping we could climb up or swing ourselves safely. When the foot started moving, I knew that this would probably end the worst way as we swung up above the bridge. I could see the dagger stuck between the wooden planks as we slowly fell and moved at high speed beneath. I put up both my feet, hitting the plank beneath them, and quickly released the rope and hit the ground with my stomach. I tried to get up as an orange light swoosh through the air. I stood still as the surroundings went suddenly silent. I saw several karate guys with their throats cut and blood gushing out. What the fuck just happened?
One of them just stared at me with empty eyes when suddenly blood started to splurge out, hitting my shirt. I tried to keep my calm like it was an everyday job seeing someone's throat cut. Something small with orange light glowing was Mejni walking on his legs without support from his hands and a lot of muscles like he was on steroids. What surprised me was his deadly look, like he was in some fatality mode and going on a mission for assassins.
“Yosh!” He uttered, as his facial expression changed back to the old smiling bastard, which made me shake my head.
“COME HERE YOU FUCKING CAT! I AM GOING TO KILL YOU FOR REAL THIS TIME. WHY THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN HOLDING BACK ON US ALL THIS TIME LOOKING LIKE A WEAK PET.” I screamed at him while trying to chase after him.
That sneaky bastard climbed up on the hair and smiled at me with his tongue out to mock me even more.
