The time had come, and without keeping Wuji waiting for long, the Three Pure Ones Saint appeared on the high platform of the Three Pure Ones Temple. Without any extra words, he began to lecture on the Great Dao of Saints. The Three Pure Ones Saint was also like before, gradually increasing the difficulty of his lectures from shallow to deep.
Over the course of a thousand years, those with lower boundaries will become restless due to their inability to comprehend the power of the Great Way and will be expelled from the Grand Temple by the saints using their divine powers. First, those below the Golden Immortal level were expelled after 600 years, followed by those at the Golden Immortal level who were also expelled over the next 400 years. In the end, only the direct disciples of the Three Pure Saints, the Four Attendants of the Supreme Pole, and some exceptionally talented outer sect disciples remained.
One thousand five hundred years after the sermon of the saint, only Xuan Du Dao Ren, Wu Ji, Ran Deng Dao Ren, Guang Cheng Zi, Yu Ding, Yun Zhong Zi, Duo Bao Dao Ren, Jin Ling Sheng Mu, Gui Ling Sheng Mu, Wu Dang Sheng Mu, Yun Xiao Niang Niang and Zhao Gong Ming were left on the scene.
The Three Pure Ones saw the elite of the three religions on site, and they were still very satisfied, except for Reng Deng Dao Ren. Reng Deng Dao Ren was originally a master of martial arts, not considered anything special, but after knowing that he would leave the Taoist sect to join Western Buddhism, the Three Pure Ones naturally had no good feelings towards him.
Sanqing slowed down the pace of his lecture after seeing the remaining disciples on the scene, in order to let these elite disciples make progress in their Taoist practice, most of what he lectured were about Taiyi Golden Immortal Realm and Daluo Golden Immortal Middle Period.
As a late-stage Da Luo Golden Immortal, Xuan Dou Dao Ren didn't think much of it, considering it merely laying the foundation for himself and improving his Dao heart. After all, the cultivation time of Xuan Dou Dao Ren was similar to that of Wu Ji, but without the various opportunities that Wu Ji had, his understanding of the Great Dao was still somewhat lacking.
Ran Deng Dao Ren was depressed, the great way of Da Luo Jin Xian before the middle period had no effect on him, one of the three thousand guests of Zi Xuan Palace. What Ran Deng eagerly hoped for now was to hear the great way of Da Luo Jin Xian's later breakthrough to quasi-sainthood, but he didn't dare to urge the saint, and could only anxiously wait.
Wuji is now the strongest under the Three Pure Ones, and the great way that the saint is talking about has already had a very small effect on Wuji. However, Wuji did not waste any opportunity, absorbing the golden lotus produced by the saint's lecture to cultivate his magical powers, while also incorporating the content of the saint's lecture into the Unrecorded and Nine-Turned Xuan Yuan Technique.
The current state of Wuji has determined its own Tao, and only by cultivating one's own Tao can it be further advanced. The Tao of others can be used as a reference, and the stones of another mountain can be used to polish jade, but it is impossible to completely cultivate the Tao of others, even if it is the Tao of the Three Pure Ones. Otherwise, one's own Tao will become an appendage of the Three Pure Ones' Tao, and even if one becomes a saint in the Three Pure Ones' Tao, they will still be inferior.
Wuji has now cultivated the Nine Turns of the Mysterious Origin Technique to the eighth turn. For Wuji, who only knows the nine turns of the Nine Turns of the Mysterious Origin Technique, the remaining techniques have become a difficult problem for him to face.
The Nine Turns of the Mysterious Origin Formula is said to be suitable for Wuji, but in reality, it was not created by Wuji. Instead, it is a relic from Pangu, with only a small portion infused with Wuji's insights. The Wuji of today has created something that encompasses all his current cultivation experiences, making it far more suitable for himself. However, due to the influence of Wuji's realm, he currently only possesses the Quasi-Sage Realm Formula and does not have the Sage Realm Formula.
Wuji had long decided to incorporate the Nine Turns of the Mysterious Origin into the Wuji Records, but the cultivation level required for the Nine Turns was too high. At that time, Wuji hadn't reached the highest realm of the Nine Turns and didn't have the ability to incorporate it into the Wuji Records. However, this is no longer an obstacle for Wuji to perfect the Wuji Records now.
For two thousand years, the Saints have been preaching. Guang Chengzi and Wu Dang Shengmu also broke through to the Daluo Jinxian realm one after another. From then on, there were six powerful beings above the Daluo Jinxian in the Three Clear Saints' sect, among whom Wuji was a quasi-saint, but the others were unclear.
The remaining saints' disciples also made great gains and rapidly advanced in their Dao. However, after the second time, the saint's lecturing speed suddenly increased, and he quickly began to explain the deeper content that followed. The crowd was removed from the grand hall according to their level of attainment, just like before.
Two thousand five hundred years later, only Xuan Du Dao Ren, Wu Ji Dao Ren, Ran Deng Dao Ren, Guang Cheng Zi Dao Ren, Duo Bao Dao Ren and Wu Dang Sheng Mu were left on the scene. In the following thousand years, Guang Cheng Zi Dao Ren and Wu Dang Sheng Mu were first removed from the main hall, followed by Duo Bao Dao Ren, Ran Deng Dao Ren, and Xuan Du Dao Ren who was almost simultaneously removed from the main hall. After that, the entire San Qing Hall was left with only three San Qing saints, three lecturers, and Wu Ji as a listener. At this time, the content of San Qing's lecture had already broken through to the quasi-saint level, and Wu Ji absorbed San Qing's comprehension of the Tao like a sponge absorbing water, and integrated it into the Wu Ji Record.
Five hundred years later, the saint was no longer simply explaining the cultivation method and feeling, but had begun to talk about the great dao principles. Wuji was now wholeheartedly listening, and afterwards would integrate what he heard into his own Wuji Great Dao Wheel. One thousand years later, the saint stopped lecturing. At this point, Wuji's dao cultivation had already reached the initial stage of quasi-sainthood, and could immediately break through to the middle stage of quasi-sainthood. However, Wuji's magical powers had not kept up with his dao cultivation, and after five thousand years of continuously absorbing the saint's lectures, which produced blossoms of green lotus flowers, he was only at the middle stage of the initial stage of quasi-sainthood, severely delaying Wuji's breakthrough progress.
After the Three Pure Ones finished their sermon, they did not leave but instead called in the outer Taiyi Golden Immortals who were above the level of progression and were direct disciples of the Three Pure Ones. In less than a moment, the great hall was filled with fifty or sixty people.
These saintly disciples saw that only Wuji was listening to the Dao, and they couldn't help but show various expressions, including envy, jealousy, melancholy, adoration, and coldness. Taiching Daoren ignored everyone's expressions and directly said: "Two thousand years later, our teacher Hongjun Dazong will merge with the Dao in person. Before that, he will lecture on the Dao for you once. How much you can understand depends on your own fortune. One thousand five hundred years ago, we three will take you together to the Zixiao Palace to listen to the Dao." After finishing speaking, the Three Purities disappeared from their seats.
The crowd of people below was in an uproar, and Wuji, who had originally been the center of attention, was suddenly ignored. The focus of everyone's conversation had shifted to the Zixiao Palace's new path to enlightenment. Wuji took this opportunity to exchange greetings with Xuandu before leading his four maidservants out of the grand hall and returning to his own cave dwelling.
Wuji returned to the main hall and did not go into seclusion, but instead continued his alchemy journey. Wuji's goal this time was to refine more elixirs that could increase his cultivation power. After that, Wuji occasionally visited Xuan Du Dao Ren to strengthen their bond, and sometimes went to pay respects to Tai Qing Dao Ren to seek guidance on unexpected situations during alchemy, and casually took away one or two bottles of already refined Jiu Zhuan Jin Dan.
Fifteen hundred years passed quickly, and on this day, Wuji heard the bell of the Sanqing Temple ringing, understanding that it was a summons for him and others to listen to the Tao. Wuji brought four maidservants directly to the Sanqing Temple to pay respects to the Sanqing Saint.
