Chapter 46: The Endless Return to Kunlun

With the speed of nothingness, it took half a day to finally see the coast of the East Sea. After that, Wuji rushed to Mount Kunlun in two days, which was still because Mount Kunlun was located on the eastern mainland of Honghuang, relatively close to the East Sea, from which we can see the vastness of the world of Honghuang.

Wuji arrived at the foot of Kunlun Mountain and did not dare to be presumptuous, so he had to climb up on foot as a sign of respect. Along the way, Wuji saw that there were immortals everywhere, some of whom had not yet taken shape. They called each other brothers and friends, gathering in threes and twos, some gathered together to exchange blows, while others gathered together to discuss and argue about the Tao. With his divine consciousness scanning a hundred miles around, Wuji saw that there was no longer any sign of the sacred mountain paradise he had left behind years ago.

After all, Wuji is a junior, and these are basically the disciples of Tongtian Sect. It's not reasonable for him to show up in person, which would be disrespectful to the sect leader. Even if he has a good relationship with Master Tongtian, it's still not easy to handle.

Extreme has only eyes that don't see, a heart that doesn't worry, one mind to hurry on the road up the mountain. It's just that being unable to cope and not wanting to provoke trouble, yet trouble still finds Extreme. Extreme cultivates to reach quasi-sainthood, his body begins to return to its true nature, cultivation without surpassing Extreme's foundation is fundamentally unable to determine Extreme's state through breath.

Only to see seven cultivators suddenly appear in front of Wuji, led by a True Immortal in the later stage. The rest were all True Immortals in the early and middle stages. Only to see the True Immortal in the later stage say: "Fellow Daoist, what brings you here? What is the meaning of your arrival at our Holy One's venue?" Wuji saw the cultivators appear in front of him, although he could tell that several of them had ill intentions, but Wuji still decided not to make a fuss for the sake of Tongtian Shibo's face.

Wuji Dao: "I've heard that the Tongtian Saint is spreading his teachings throughout the world, and those who are destined to hear it can listen in. I came today hoping to be able to hear the saint's teachings."

The leading Taoist said: "Fellow Taoists, you don't know that the great way of the saint is not easily transmitted. If you want to hear my master's great way of communicating with heaven, what do you have to offer?"

Wuji saw that after the leading monk finished speaking, the remaining six people surrounded Wuji in the middle. Looking at their familiarity, they must have done this many times before. This made Wuji, who was originally dissatisfied with the evil aura of the Kunlun Mountains, but had a good impression of the unity of the Interception Sect, now completely lose that thread of goodwill.

Wuji knew that even if he killed the seven people in front of him now, Tongtian Shifu would not say anything. After all, a small true immortal dared to offend a quasi-saint, and this side was not reasonable. However, Wuji taking action could vent his anger and would not make things worse for the Tongtian Sect's founder, but it would be suspected of overstepping authority.

Just as Wújí was about to decide the fate of those present, he sensed a mid-stage Mahāyāna Golden Immortal flying towards him from the main peak of Mount Kūn Lún. With his keen senses, Wújí immediately discovered that this person was none other than Duō Bǎo Dào Rén, the eldest disciple of Tōng Tiān Shī, with whom Wújí had a past connection.

Wuji immediately knew that he had returned to Kunlun Mountain, and his teachers and masters already knew that this time must be because Tongtian Shifu saw himself in difficulty, and also for the sake of his own face, so he directly dispatched Duobao Dazu to handle this matter.

Wuji knew that Duobao Daoren would handle the matter reasonably, so this time he didn't need to take action himself. He stood there with a smile, savoring the sight of these foolish people who were unaware of the disaster that was about to befall them, and yet dared to rob in front of a saint.

Just as the seven monks were furious at Wuji for staring at them and took action, Duobao Daoren finally arrived, and his voice "Stop" directly knocked the seven people into serious injury. Just as the seven people were wondering who dared to hit their holy disciples in the Holy Land, they heard a dreamy demon-like voice.

Duobao descended from the clouds and came before Wujie, saying: "Disciple Duobao pays his respects to Second Master."

Wuji saw Duobao and saluted, also saying that there was no need to be polite: "Younger brother is too polite, this time I still have to thank younger brother for helping me solve this difficult problem." After finishing, he looked at the seven people again.

Duobao Daoist, who had been managing the sect for many years, naturally knew what Wuji meant. He replied: "This time, my junior brothers have offended you, I hope you can forgive them and hand these people over to me to deal with. I will give you a satisfactory answer."

Wuji had been planning a way to escape all along, and now Duobao's proposal was just what he needed. He naturally agreed and stood aside, indicating for Duobao to handle it.

Duobao approached the seven people who were already squatting on the ground, remembering that his teacher Tongtian had instructed him to deal with them severely before leaving the mountain and also to rectify the sect. Duobao understood that these people would become the chickens used to scare the monkeys. If anyone was to blame, it was because they were too stupid and unlucky, wanting to get benefits from Wuji, the god of death, was simply looking for death.

Duobao Daoren disabled the cultivation of the seven people who begged for mercy and expelled them from Juejiao and Kunlun. Duobao looked at the angry expressions of the seven people, but didn't mind, if they didn't have a great opportunity in the future, their current cultivation would be the most they could achieve. Moreover, his current punishment was equivalent to saving the lives of the seven people.

Duobao, as the eldest disciple of Tongtian Sect's founder, often served by his side and frequently heard their hearty laughter. One day, Duobao couldn't help but ask his master what made him so joyful.

Duobao only learned from his teacher that the second disciple of Dashi Men, Wujie, had killed over a hundred Daluo Jinxian and three quasi-saints in less than a thousand years of traveling down the mountain. Moreover, the nickname "Death God" was also told to Duobao, making Wujie one of the people he couldn't afford to provoke, constantly thinking that Wujie was perverted.

Wuji faced Duobao and said, "Junior brother, it seems they don't understand your feelings?" After finishing speaking, he flew towards the top of Zhongfeng Mountain, Sanqing Temple. Wuji saw that Duobao's speed was too slow, so he pulled Duobao up, and in a short while, Wuji arrived at the entrance of Sanqing Temple. After putting Duobao down, Wuji walked alone into the temple.

Wuji saw Sanqing Shengren sitting above, except for Tongtian Shifu who was somewhat unhappy, both the Master and Yuanshi Shifu were smiling.

Wuji knelt before Sanqing and said: "Disciple Wuji has seen the teacher, Yuanshi Tianzun, Tongtian Tianzun. I wish the teacher and Tianzuns a long and sacred life."

The Supreme Saint waved his hand and a gentle force lifted Yuji up. He looked at him with satisfaction, then said to Yuji, "You are now in the quasi-saint realm. From now on, you don't need to perform the ritual of kneeling and bowing, just bow your head." The Original Saint saw that Yuji wanted to retort and told him some common sense.

Originally, those who can become quasi-saints must be people who gather great aura. Letting such a person with great aura kneel and worship others is nothing to worry about occasionally, but if it happens many times, even the vast aura of a saint will be worn away. It's just like when saints visit their teacher Hong Jun Dao Zu, now they only need to bow slightly. Wuji was delighted to accept these secrets after learning them, after all, Wuji also had no habit of kneeling and worshiping.

Wuji bowed again to the three Pure Ones and then told them about his experiences.
