As soon as the Tongtian Shengren returned to his palace, he immediately struck the Jie Jiao Golden Bell. All those within the Jie Jiao could hear it, while outsiders could only hear it if they were a Quasi-Saint.
Tongtian Shengren saw that many of his disciples had arrived, and then he scolded them severely. After that, Duobao Daoren reported to Tongtian Shengren about the previous incident where he taught the disciples to cause trouble, and asked for his opinion on how to handle it.
Tongtian Shengren directly kicked them out of the sect, and then appointed Duobao Daoren as the eldest disciple of the sect, in charge of managing the affairs of the sect. Zhao Gongming was appointed as the outer gate elder, in charge of managing the outer gate disciples. Yunxiao, Bixiao, and Qiongxiao assisted and cooperated with them.
Then the Tongtian Shengren warned each of his disciples to cultivate their minds and nurture their nature, not to be unruly and cause trouble. Finally, he asked them to prepare for the holy doctrine ten years later.
Ten years later, Wuji led Fengqiu, Liu Mei, Xiao Xian and Lingzhen to the Sanqing Hall to wait for the saint's lecture. After ten years of cultivation, the four girls' true immortal initial magical powers had transformed into real strength in the early stage of true immortality.
Wuji is also constantly improving his magical powers, and in these ten years, he has stabilized the late-stage realm of Taiyi Golden Immortal, and has become increasingly familiar with the purple eyes on his forehead, repairing the damage to his body caused by breaking through his cultivation.
On this day, the disciples of Sanqing had gathered in the Sanqing Hall, quietly waiting for Sanqing to lecture on the Great Way. Among them, people were chatting with each other in twos and threes, greeting one another and asking how they were doing. Only Wuji and the four girls sat alone, undisturbed by anyone, looking out of place. Fortunately, at this moment, Wuji's senior brother Xuandu arrived and started talking to Wuji.
After a while, the Three Pure Ones suddenly appeared on the high platform of the Three Pure Temple, and began to explain the non-action Dharma of the Taiqing Saint, the conforming-to-heaven Dharma of the Yuanshi Saint, and the opposing-heaven Dharma of the Tongtian Saint.
"The Tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao; the name that can be named is not the eternal name. The Nameless is the origin of heaven and earth. The Named is the mother of all things. Therefore, always desireless, one observes its wonders; always desiring, one observes its manifestations. These two are the same in source but differ in name; they are called mysteries. Mystery upon mystery - the gate to all wonders."

In the beginning of heaven and earth, there was something formed from chaos, born before heaven and earth. Silent and empty, standing alone and unchanging, circulating and never perishing, it can be called the mother of heaven and earth. I do not know its name, I forcibly call it Tao, and forcibly give it the name Great.
The great is said to be gone, the gone is said to be far, the far is said to be returned. Therefore, the Way is great, Heaven is great, Earth is great, and Man is also great. In the universe there are four greatnesses, and the multitude of spirits dwells in one of them. Man follows the pattern of Earth, Earth follows the pattern of Heaven, Heaven follows the pattern of the Way, and the Way follows the pattern of Nature.
The great Tao flows everywhere. All things are connected to it, and it is in all things. Therefore, the great Tao is omnipresent, and it is also present in every place." Heaven and earth are not benevolent; they regard all things as straw dogs. The sage is not benevolent; he regards all people as straw dogs. Is not the space between heaven and earth like a bellows? It is empty, yet it is inexhaustible; the more it moves, the more it brings forth. Much speech leads to exhaustion; it is better to keep to the center.
The saint spoke the Tao, and nature was not the same as usual. Only when the three pure saints each opened up the great Tao did the surrounding area have a profusion of celestial flowers, gushing golden lotus flowers, auspicious clouds converging from all sides, and other strange phenomena repeatedly arise and be reborn.
The Great Way is formless, the Great Way is extremely simple. In the ordinary, there are infinite mysteries, as the Three Pure Ones' mysterious and profound sounds continue to emerge from their mouths, causing people to unknowingly become enchanted by them.
The Three Pure Ones, in order to take care of their disciples with low cultivation, taught the Tao gradually from shallow to deep. The great Tao they preached slowly became obscure and difficult to understand, but they did not pause excessively, still speaking words of gold without haste or slowness.
Wuji is not like others who just listen to the sacred Tao with seriousness, but for a hundred years he has been listening to the sacred Tao with seriousness, and with each effort, he absorbs the spiritual energy of the heavens and earth transformed by the divine powers of the saints into clusters of green lotus flowers.
As everyone was immersed in the saint's lecture, Wuji made great efforts to absorb the many green lotus flowers transformed by the joint efforts of the three Qing saints. Time passed unknowingly, and the three saints went from shallow to deep, proclaiming the Great Way, which was also from the basic way, slowly along the boundary, slowly towards the Hunyuan Way.
Among the numerous disciples below, some were limited by their cultivation and couldn't understand, so they had to strain themselves to listen, resulting in some becoming deranged. The Three Pure Ones saw this and couldn't bear it, so they used their divine powers to remove those disciples who couldn't understand from the grand hall, lest they become impatient for quick success and neglect their foundation.
First, the heavenly immortals were dismissed, followed by the true immortals, golden immortals, and Taiyi Golden Immortals. Gradually, people were removed from the grand hall. Now, only the direct disciples of the Three Pure Ones' saints and the Lamp-Lighting Daoist of the Explanatory Teachings, Nanji Xianweng, can sit below the saint and persist in listening to the lecture.
Six hundred years later, only the elites of various sects remained in the Great Hall of Sanqing: Xuan Du of the Human Teachings, Reng Deng Dao Ren of the Tianxian Teachings, Guang Cheng Zi, Duo Bao Dao Ren of the Jie Teachings, Jin Ling Sheng Mu, Gui Ling Sheng Mu, and Wu Dang Sheng Mu. As time passed, Guang Cheng Zi, Jin Ling Sheng Mu, Gui Ling Sheng Mu, and Wu Dang Sheng Mu were also removed from the Great Hall one after another. Only Reng Deng Dao Ren, Xuan Du, Duo Bao, and Wu Ji remained on site. Eight hundred years later, only Reng Deng Dao Ren and Xuan Du, who had already reached the Daluo Jinxian realm, and Wu Ji, who was still in the Taiyi Jinxian realm, remained on site.
Wuji, although only a Taiyi Golden Immortal, has a Dao realm that far surpasses his cultivation level, reaching the Daluo Golden Immortal realm. However, he didn't absorb as much of the innate spiritual energy, resulting in Wuji's Dao realm being higher than his actual cultivation level. Seeing that there were only three people left on the scene, Wuji became even more unscrupulous and absorbed the external Dharma bodies of the remaining three Qinglian.
The Millennium Lecture is about to begin, and the lamp holder, Xuandu, has already reached the great Luo Jinxian's Dao cultivation. They seem to have gained insight, as if they have heard the old god's words before. Wuji's Dao cultivation is not inferior to the other two, but his cultivation is still that of a Taiyi Jinxian, which is an undisputed fact. Therefore, listening to the lecture was more difficult for him, but he persisted with his extraordinary willpower, listened to the entire lecture, and absorbed all the green lotus flowers transformed by the three Qing saints over the past thousand years. His cultivation finally reached the late stage of Taiyi Jinxian, only one thread away from entering the realm of great Luo Jinxian, with his Dao and cultivation in balance.
A thousand years of lecturing on the Tao have passed, and the Three Pure Ones ordered the Burning Lamp Daoist. Xuan Du and Wu Ji withdrew from the Hall of the Three Pures, and then each began to comprehend the Heavenly Way.
When the three of them, Ran Deng Dao Ren, Xuan Du and Wu Ji, left the grand hall, they saw that everyone outside was staring at them, especially Wu Ji. Ran Deng Dao Ren had been a guest in the Zi Xuan Palace before, so it was normal for him to have listened to the entire lecture. Xuan Du's cultivation had broken through to the Da Luo Golden Immortal, and he was the third generation of great disciples of the Xuan Men, the first person under the Saint Gate to break through to the Da Luo Golden Immortal who could listen to the entire lecture. Although it was surprising, it was also understandable.
Only the previously unknown Wújí, whose cultivation was roughly on par with that of the Taìyǐ Golden Immortal. If not for the previous dispute over the interpretation of the classics, who would have known about this person? Unexpectedly, he had listened to the entire scene as a Taìyǐ Golden Immortal, which shocked the people present. The eyes of the crowd looking at Wújí were filled with emotions such as jealousy, admiration, hatred, adoration, and astonishment. Wújí saw the crowd's envious gaze, and hastily took the four girls to make a swift retreat.
