After exiting the demon woods if you travel east you can reach a few cities depending on the location , the one closest to ronny's village and the city he picked is rupa , ronny has been here a few times before but he never got the chance to explore much as he always snuck out of the village to be here and had to return quickly

  Still ronny knows a bit about the place and his first destination is the mindbenders guild

  "This place looks pretty luxurious , i wonder what kind of people are around here"

  He notices a woman sitting at a desk so he approaches her to ask questions.

  "Hello , how can i help you?" The woman says before he gets a chance to start the conversation

  "Hello , i am looking for a way to earn some money , being a mindbender i figured i should join the guild and ask around"

  "Well , the mindbenders guild is more of a place to spend money than earn it , you can ask around to see if someone has any work for you , but usually the other party approaches you to do jobs for them , only the most popular mindbenders get requests like that , its usually something rich people learn and there isn't much room for poor newbies around here you can also try to apprentice under a master but they only take trusted people into the fold, i recommend joining the hunter or adventurer's guild to earn money , you have to register if you know the mindbending arts though as they have a chance of being very dangerous and the kingdom requires you to register or you'll be arrested "

  "I see , then i would like to be registered"

  "Very well , give me your details like name age race and address"

  "I am ronny , 15 years old and human as you can see and i don't have a particular address at the moment"

  "Huh , you don't even have a home and you've learned mindbending arts? They're so expensive how did you even learn them"

  " i learned them in my village in the demon woods "

  " oh , you're from the demon woods , that explains it , that will also work as an address at the moment as they mostly just want information about you and a way to make you behave"

  "I am sorry sir , i forgot"

  "Its fine , you are still new so mistakes happen , make sure not to do it again" "besides , i heard something more interesting , you're from the demon woods kid?"

  "Yes"replies ronny , he was expecting some kind of hostility considering he is an outsider but its honestly not that bad

  "I have a job for you if you're interested , i want you to capture a carnivorous animal from outside the city , as you probably know carnivorous animals are harder to mindbend than domestic ones and some of my students could use the practice"

  "How much will that earn me?" Ronny asked

  "I will give 500 pesos per animal i need three" the man replied " i am the guild master by the way , my name is rorel luth"

  "We have a deal , by what time do i have to deliver them"

  " i will take them by the end of the week"

  " i will be back with them" replied ronny as he exited

  "Sir , why did you ask that amateur to bring back live beasts , shouldn't you seek the hunter's guild for something like this?" The receptionist asked

  "I was on my way to the adventurer's guild but i overheard your conversation, he is from the demon woods , we need to know what he is capable of , he could be dangerous" replied rorel

  Ronny decided to look for a place to rest for the day and continue tomorrow as it was already evening and he didn't want to hunt for the carnivorous animals in the night unless he himself became the prey

  He asked the passing people where he could look for a inn but most people frowned as they looked at his outfit and kept their distance and downright ignored him , some even threatened to hit him

  'Now this is more like it' thought ronny as he remembered that he was still in his tribal outfit and the people in the city didn't welcome them 'maybe i should try to change clothes , one shouldn't try to stand out ,blending in with your surroundings is the best way to move , otherwise everything in your surroundings sees you as a threat'

  He decided to ditch the tribal outfit and get some clothes at some clothing shop

  but finding the clothing shop itself was a chore as basically no one was willing to talk to him , with great effort he finally managed to find a clothing shop that didn't turn him away , the guy was clearly desperate for money and didn't turn him away even though he made his dislike of him no secret

  Ronny got himself a black suit even though he didn't even know what it was called , but since he saw most other people wearing it he decided that was probably the best option

  He paid for the suit and found an inn easily as people were no longer shunning him , he was secretly proud of his decision to buy a suit even though it cost him half of his fortune at 20 pesos

  "Hello , i would like to board for the night, how much would that cost me? " ronny asked the innkeeper

  "Hello sir , it would cost you 5 pesos per night payment before you leave and you would have to vacate by noon next day and we don't provide dinner"

  "Sigh , fine , its a deal , i will be back after dinner"

  Ronny looked for a restaurant to eat and found it easily on the same street.

  He ate some beef stew with herbs in it as that was what felt might be the most appetizing option.

  He enjoyed the food and rested for the night
