Hello everyone,
First of all, my first three volumes are a mess. Let’s be honest—this was my very first story, and even now, when I look back on it after a year, I can clearly see how rough the beginning is. The ideas are there, but the writing… not so much.
So one day, when I’m feeling less lazy, I’ll completely rewrite the first three volumes from the prologue onward. It will happen. I just don’t know when.
As for the story itself, I’m rewriting this warning—and it will be the only one for the entire series.
This story will take its time before diving fully into grimdark territory. However, if you’d like a preview of the tone, I invite you to read Ashborne (R16), which enters that darkness much more quickly.
The author's narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
If you’d rather not read another story—and I completely understand, since being redirected elsewhere isn’t always enjoyable—then let me simply say this:
I do not write cheerful stories. I will address sensitive topics when necessary, including torture, abuse, violence, and more.
Nothing is gratuitous. Everything serves a specific purpose within the narrative. I do not write explicit graphic scenes, but the actions will be strongly implied, even if they happen “off-screen.” If that makes you uncomfortable, please feel free to stop reading and allow those who enjoy this kind of story to continue.
You can’t please everyone, and I’m not trying to. I write worlds and characters the way I envision them—not to appeal to a mass audience. There are plenty of stories out there for everyone, and I appreciate your understanding.
And one last point—it’s already in the title, but I’ll repeat it just to be clear: I strongly discourage readers under 16. Some might label this R18, but that would be excessive. I never depict explicit nudity or extreme gore. R16 is more than enough.
Enjoy the story, and thank you for supporting this small French author.
