  A camp fire was lit but not outside, she could see other buildings from where she laid, she looked around and found someone standing close to the massively constructed window. He held a binoculars, probably scouting or surveying the area she councluded slowly sitting, by instinct alone she was tired of lying down.

  Something was definitely wrong she could tell as apart from her name she couldn't remember anything else, where she was from, whkw her parents were and most importantly what put her in such situation.

  She clearly surveyed her body, she was wrapped in bandages, neat one and that, not even her face was spared as her right chin had a plaster on it.

  "Awake huh?" The guy asked leaving his scouting area and walking towards Chloe

  "Anywhere hurting much?"he asked again sitting on the tiny steel chair at the opposite side of the camp fire.

  She said nothing, she just sat there stareing at him.

  "Look I'm not going to hurt you, I even saved you, I just want to know if you're feeling better now" he asked with a friendly demeanor.

  "You gave me quite a scare......, you've been lying down like that for two weeks, when I found you you were almost dead, God knows why you weren't..yyyet" he said "I'm Zack, you are?" He introduced stretching out his hands for a handshake as he has gotten closer to hee

  "Ok chill, chill........, just rest for now, try to focus on getting better we'll figure out the rest when you do ok" he assured her still holding he in his arms before helping her lying down.

  The sun had set and the day had just ended. Another attempt to locate the vice captain had failed. Where was she they wondered still full of hope she was alive as her body was yet to be found.

  "We shouldn't have left her back there....., I was stupid acted selfishly because I wanted to live" Dave blamed himself

  "Look ass, we weren't given much of a choice and our situation was dire, that was all we could do" Luke said, that was the closest to a comfort he could give to anyone

  "Fuck you Luke............, you've always hated her, I'm sure you saw that as an opportunity to waste her so you took it" Dave retorted while Luke responded with a punch to the face. Dave fell straight down.

  "I loved her same as everyone here did......., you got no right to say that to me" Luke sighed. Dave soon stood and a fist fight had strared between them, Leo quickly stood in between stopping them from going any further.

  "Stop this madness.........., we won't find her if we don't cooperate and learn to tolerate each other"Leo said

  The sun was up now and so was Chloe who stood at Zacks survey point, she haven't seen him since she woke up she wondered why. His binoculars were on her eyes as she used it to look out the window. She could see people walking, they were more or less staggering, something was off with them, they were thin, had a pale colour, dark green if she could describe it like they were getting rotten or were already rotten, some had their limbs missing while some had some part of their flesh missing.

  "Up already?" Zack asked from behind her, she had not expected that and by instincts she slammed his chest hard using her elbow.
