Chapter 18: A Creator’s Creativity

  Chapter 18: A Creator’s Creativity

Primer floated in the endless dark void, his gaze fixed on the blue planet before him. His eyes scanned every corner, tirelessly observing, until he faced a bitter truth.

The planet had very little land—only scattered small and large islands dotting the endless ocean. These dry lands seemed even more lifeless than the deserts of Primer’s former world.

More importantly, Primer quickly noticed the planet’s fragile and thin atmosphere. Yes, it had an atmosphere, but it was so weak it couldn’t shield against the harmful rays of the sun.

Still, this didn’t matter to Primer. He had something else in mind.

If this planet has an atmosphere and even a hint of oxygen… doesn’t that mean life could exist beneath these oceans?

He rushed toward the ocean and, in the blink of an eye, stood above the surface. With an emotionless stare, he dipped his pale hand into the water and spoke a spell aloud:

  “Gather.”

There were no tides or crashing waves due to the absence of a moon, yet the little motion the water had was frozen still by Primer’s spell. And then, it began.

A vortex, immense and powerful, appeared in the ocean—its diameter stretching a full hundred kilometers. Its purpose: to gather every living organism on this planet.

An hour passed as Primer stood motionless, emotionless, his eyes fixed on the waters. Slowly, a frown formed on his face.

So I was wrong? Is there truly no life on this planet?

He broke the spell, and the raging whirlpool slowly settled. Yet this failure didn’t break Primer’s will—instead, it sparked new theories in his mind.

Perhaps life dwells in the deep trenches of the ocean? Or maybe near the shores of the islands?

Without delay, Primer set out to confirm his suspicions. From the North Pole to the South, east to west, he searched everywhere. But again, he found nothing.

Yes, I was arrogant—thinking nothing could escape my sight. But once again, bitter truth has revealed my weaknesses. So what now?

Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

Sitting on a rock by the shore, Primer whispered to himself. Then, without thinking, he dipped his snowy hand into the water, scooped some up, and brought it close to his face.

“I can’t even remember the taste of water anymore… Three million years without eating or drinking. I can’t even picture myself eating now. My only food is energy—the energy flowing through the universe… hmm?”

Suddenly, he noticed something—something strange and astonishing. With his third eye, he saw a truth he had overlooked.

These… are microorganisms? All this time, I was wrong, because I thought a living being had to be large and multicellular.

Yes. Truly, my knowledge is limited. And had I not had this third eye, I doubt I would’ve ever discovered this truth.

But what now? These beings are primitive, and I still haven’t gained the knowledge Isis promised me.

Primer was lost in a sea of thoughts. He pondered for hours, until he finally laughed and said:

“If no path exists… then I’ll make one myself!”

He rose, and in an instant, appeared above the deepest part of the ocean. He placed his hand on the surface and recited the familiar spell once again.

The furious waves of the ocean surged once more, and the vortex returned. But Primer didn’t stop there. He opened the gate to his inner realm and channeled the waters into it.

A massive volume of ocean water poured into his inner world, carrying with it all the microscopic lifeforms.

Primer knew that many of those tiny creatures would likely perish from this action, but he also knew there was no better or faster way.

His eyes pulsed with resolve and determination, and one could see the spirit burning within his gaze. He stared at the now-dried ocean.

“This is just the beginning. Yes, this is only a beginning. For I have many plans for creating my own world…”

With a moment of will, he teleported into his inner realm, watching the waters merge with the still sea within.

Primer no longer needed to speak commands like a game—this realm was a part of him, not a system or program.

Here, he held absolute authority. Whatever he said would be, for he was the eternal god of this place.

Then he willed it—and the water obeyed. The microorganisms gathered in one place.

Primer was worried. He feared these fragile lifeforms might die, undoing millions of years of nature’s effort. So, he decided to act quickly.

First, he ensured the environment supported their survival. The realm already had air and divine light above, and water below. Everything was in place—except soil and minerals…

Satisfied with the safety of the microscopic beings, Primer left the realm and headed for the mountains—once islands. He cast a spell and uprooted them, sending them into his inner world.

Then, he returned to his own hellish planet. There, he devoured mountains etched with memories and thousands of volcanoes, placing each in his realm.

He then positioned the microorganisms near the islands.

Everything seemed perfect, but Primer knew something was still missing.

He gave a command, and the volcanoes obeyed. Roars echoed throughout the realm, making the waters tremble. Smoke and carbon darkened the skies, gradually increasing in volume. At last, the fury subsided, and silence returned.

I think this is enough—for now, time will take care of the rest.

“Now, it’s time for those two planets…”
