Chapter 100: Sniping

  Chapter One Hundred: Sniping

(Tonight is just the beginning, there's more to come)

They galloped on horseback for a whole night until dawn when they stopped again.

A night of cold wind. Xia Ya, no matter how good her physical quality is, now that she's injured and tied to the horseback, her blood can't circulate throughout her body, and she's numb and stiff with cold.

Finally, the time to rest had arrived. Several of the Jinn carefully lifted Shaya down from the horse's back and threw him onto a rock above. Just right, a boulder pressed against Shaya's waist. He was in so much pain that he almost fainted. But Tu Bie was very clear about his current situation - being caught by the Jinn would not be much better than falling into Hestin's hands.

Although Hastings hated himself, he was shot through by a stray bullet and fell into the hands of these fine people.

Suddenly flesh. Stewing oil. Xia Ya imagined herself being marinated and hung on a rack to dry like a piece of pork, and she couldn't help but shiver.

Luckily, some of the spirits had no intention of operating on Xia Ya. Instead, two of them brought over a piece of dried meat to feed Xia Ya. Looking at the wind-dried meat that was completely without any flavor, it was unknown how long it had been stored for. As soon as it was placed in front of her nose, she caught a whiff of a pungent and fishy smell. Xia Ya's heart trembled with fear. She shook her head frantically.

The devil knows what this thing is. In the style of a ghost's behavior. I'm afraid it might be a cut from the thigh of an adventurer who died in someone's hands. But Xia Ya wouldn't dare to eat it, would she?

Two of them were impatient. Kuo Ke's ghost shouted twice. One kicked Xia Ya's legs hard, then pressed his chin with force, pried open his mouth, and forcibly stuffed a piece of meat in. The other one even took out a water bag to pour a few mouthfuls of water into Xia Ya's mouth. Xia Ya choked and coughed twice. His throat opened wide. A piece of dried meat slipped down his gullet with a gulp.

Xia Ya's scalp is numb. He wants to vomit but can't. His spirit is still clapping hands. Then he scolds and walks away.

After resting for a while, the attacker finally woke up. He was carried by two men and brought before Xia Ya.

The demons stood around Tian with their hands hanging down. Only one of the demons stepped forward and viciously grabbed Xia Ya, making him lie on his back. Xia Ya had no ability to resist at all, so he simply gave up struggling. However, in his heart, he cursed eighteen generations of his ancestors.

Tian Gong's complexion was clearly not very good. Generally speaking, the skin of a refined person is pale green. But at this moment, Tian Gong's face looked like a ripe old cucumber, with a faint black aura floating in the green color.

Tian Ge stood in front of Xia Ya with a hint of anger on his face: "Aoxue. Aoxue. Wife... where..."

Xia Ya smiled slyly. Tian Gao slapped Xia Ya's face with a loud slap, and Xia Ya spat out a mouthful of bloody saliva. He shook his head: "Freedom... wife... give you."

Tian Gou narrowed his eyes, which were like green beans, and stared at Xia Ya for a moment. He then let out a fierce hum and made a hand gesture.

Two of them were just about to cut the cow tendon binding Xia Ya's hands and feet with a knife, but suddenly one of them shouted and stopped the other two.

He narrowed his eyes, and he clearly felt a sense of unease. This feeling was unreasonable, but he couldn't help but feel it. The previous guy absolutely couldn't be easily let go. After letting him go, there would probably be big trouble.

"Wife. Give me. Freedom. To you." Tian Gong suppressed his anger.

Xia Ya thought that if he told him first, he would immediately be killed with a knife. He shook his head firmly.

Tian Gao shouted at Xia Ya, who was already furious. The surrounding Jing people rushed up and beat him for a while. Xia Ya was thick-skinned and didn't care. After being beaten for a while, although his whole body hurt, he still managed to hold on. He shook his head and refused to speak.

He was at his wit's end. He picked up the iron rod several times, wanting to strike down, but ultimately couldn't bear to do it. After hesitating repeatedly, he finally put down the iron rod and waved his hand in frustration.

The groomsmen re-tied Xia Ya onto the horseback and continued on their way.

By noon, the sun had risen to the top of their heads. The demons were walking on the open plain. Shaya knew that the direction they were heading was towards the Red Wilderness of Wildfire Plains. He remembered the last time he passed by here, with Kariya by his side, bullying him. But this time, he had become the one being bullied. His heart couldn't help but sigh.

The queue of demons was filled with a stench that reached the heavens. Xia Ya knew that these demons had no habit of taking baths. Along the way, he got used to being smoked. It was that Tian Gong who was riding a horse alone, occasionally running to Xia Ya's side and shouting at him, using intimidation and temptation. But Xia Ya, in order to save his life, refused to open his mouth to speak. Tian Gong gritted his teeth in anger, but ultimately couldn't do anything to Xia Ya.

Finally. In the third time Tian Ge's angry running away from Xia's side, suddenly came a sharp and vigilant "Oke Oke" shout from the front.

By the side of the road. Suddenly a black horse emerged from behind a huge rock and galloped to the front in an instant. Black Stein held a long spear sharpened with a tree branch in his hand, charging into the queue of goblins. The spear pierced through, and the two goblin heads in front were instantly beheaded. Their green heads were blown to pieces.

The heavenly army was enraged. It galloped forward with great force, holding an iron rod, and went to battle against the Black Storm.

He let out a cold laugh. The long spear fiercely shot towards Tian Gong. Tian Gong swung his spear to block it. Hei Xin's long spear exploded in mid-air with a loud bang. Black flames splattered everywhere. Two more of the refined ones were hit by the black flames and let out miserable cries as their bodies were engulfed by the black flames. They rolled around on the ground, screaming, before being burned to ashes in an instant.

Hastings immediately turned his horse's head and left. His black horse was exceptionally fine. The attacking cavalry had only inferior horses, how could they catch up?

Two horses, one running and the other chasing. Hastings made a clever turn back. The horse circled around in the air. But halfway through, it turned back and charged into the enemy's formation again. The black horse directly knocked an enemy soldier's chest bone to pieces. He fell and spat blood. It seemed he wouldn't survive.

He didn't stop at all and immediately rode his horse away.

Hastings ran far away, intentionally stopping. A long laugh came from afar. The heavens and earth were loudly crying out. After measuring the degree of both sides, he didn't dare to chase after all.

Hastings immediately rode off into the wilderness. The angry Tian Ge grasped an iron rod and fiercely smashed several times to vent his anger.

It wasn't until the afternoon that Hastings made another attack. This time, he appeared far away in front of him on the road, holding a longbow made from tree branches in his hand. With a whirring sound, two of Tian Gong's men were instantly pierced through the chest by sharp wooden arrows. Tian Gong angrily whipped his horse and charged forward. Hastings shot another arrow, but Tian Gong swung his iron rod to deflect the wooden arrow. However, Hastings retreated again into the distance.

The elves stopped to rest at night. The elves seemed to have been frightened already. Twice in the daytime, they were attacked by Hastings, who immediately retreated with a single blow of his hand. Several elves died, but not even one of Hastings' hairs was touched. Even the heavens seemed to have forgotten to interrogate Xia Ya. Holding her head and sulking. Finally, Hastings appeared for the third time. His figure appeared in the distance beside a forest, with several broken spears stuck behind him, sharpened with branches. The elves approached on horseback, intentionally circling around him. This time, Tian attacked more cleverly, not rashly chasing after him, but instead brandishing his iron rod and angrily shouting loudly.

Hastings' cold laughter echoed far away. He rode his horse at a gallop, then suddenly grabbed several short spears from behind him and threw them in this direction.

His hands moved extremely fast. The short spear shot out instantly. With a black flame. Piercing the sky.

The sky was dark and the air was filled with an eerie energy. A loud roar echoed through the air as Tian Gong raised his iron rod to deflect a short spear that was shot at him from the front. However, the spear contained immense power and Tian Gong was knocked off his horse. The poor horse let out a blood-curdling scream as its four legs were broken and it collapsed to the ground. Tian Gong fell onto the ground, rolled twice, and struggled to get up, with fresh blood flowing from his mouth. Nearby, several of his comrades let out anguished cries as they were pierced by the incoming spears.

Hastings laughed loudly and rode away once more.

This is it. The living ones. Plus Tian Ge inside. Only three are left.

The two essences cowered and leaned against Tian Gong's body, not daring to leave his side half a step. No matter how Tian Gong roared in anger, the two essences knelt on the ground, hugging Tian Gong's legs, refusing to leave even one step.

Only two subordinates were left. The angry roar of Tian Gang's energy was continuous. However, Xia Ya on the horseback beside him had a clear mind.

Hasten. This is another technique of harassment depletion.

That night, the spirits spent the night in the forest. Tian Ge didn't sleep all night. He sat there with his eyes wide open, feeling anxious and restless. From time to time, he jumped up and looked around.

By the second daybreak, Tian Gong's face had clearly become haggard. The luster in Lu Dou's eyes had also dimmed a lot.

After getting on the road, while walking in the woods, another problem occurred.

A spirit walking in the front suddenly let out a cry. A tree vine underfoot stopped him on the spot and he was hung up in mid-air. Just then, a piece of wood with sharp corners flew over and nailed him to death.

Tian Gong's angry roar spread throughout the forest. But is there a descendant of Hei Xing around?

The last one left was pulling Xia Ya's horse. A pair of short legs were trembling and couldn't even walk on the road.

The sky was becoming increasingly anxious. It walked back and forth restlessly, venting its anger. It violently struck a large tree next to it, breaking it in two. Then, it suddenly rushed to the horse's side, grabbed Xia Ya, and carried her on its back. It let out a few fierce cries.

Just as they were about to leave the forest, a cold arrow shot out from within the woods. In an instant, it pierced through the last one who was lagging behind.

The heavenly general's all subordinates finally all die.

The sky was not stormy. He gave a cold glance at the forest behind him and walked into the wilderness with Xia Ya on his back.

Xia Ya let out a sigh in her heart. Hasting's goal had been achieved. He had killed all of Tian Gong's subordinates. The harassment tactic was over. Next, they would launch a direct attack.

"Double monthly ticket is about to end in a few hours. Everyone seize the opportunity. The opponents behind are chasing very tightly. Those who have monthly tickets, hurry up and throw them over."

  There's more at night
