Trident of the Blue Depths
Unranked Divine Weapon
Forged from pure contradiction given order and forced into shape. This weapon possesses a connection to all bodies of water or similar liquids that exceed a depth at or deeper than a hundred feet. This connection allows the user to sense hostile entities moving in or around bodies of water connected to this weapon. Additionally the user may calm any bodies of water connected to this weapon or stir them, strengthening waves and currents. Due to its dual heritage this item may exist in other dimensions with greater ease.

The Trident was made of a dark oceanic blue colored material. The tripoint end would be great but the next thing to make was definitely a net as a partner to the trident; however, I would have to wait until I got more paradox energy from Lux.

The aftermath of the liberation was anti climactic in that the Turtenani already had an unofficial chain of command amgost themselves. So I turned it over to them to figure their stuff out as I readied to march on to the next city. Anastasia had made a breakthrough at some point In the mess of taking the city and manged to make a puppet with a limited ability to 'write its own code' so to speak but it was still rudimentary and expensive. The Puppets with the modifications required additional Mana to power themselves but it was step in the right direction.
We had lost a few elites but not enough to really matter but I repaired their equipment and had them sent back to Anastasia so new ones could be outfitted. Otherwise we were ready, I had decided to leave a contingent of fifty just for now.
The next closest city was the Newtkin, their city was built on a large lake that has the largest supply of fish in the caves and fed the main temple complex. So I figure I would hit them where it hurts their stomachs.
Moving the army didn't take to long as they were ready almost immediately. Saying goodbye to the Turtenani was simple affair due to how busy they were, turns out the Scalefolk were terrible stewards.
The following stretch of the caverns were filled with small ponds and would eventually turn into a marsh land leading up to the city of the Newtkin. It would be a pain to trek through the marsh lands but it is what it is. From Anastasia's scouts the Priestesses were concentrating their forces inside their cities when the most rational choice would be to fortify in a single area. Then again they probably had no idea how easily their peer fell, but I say let made it easier for me.
The following trip took about two days simply due to the slow movement through the marshes. I could have moved ahead but that was an unnecessary risk without my magic.
However we soon stood at the side of a small peninsula surrounded by the slowly shifting lake front. The City of the Newtkin was built on stilts with ramps leading up and down. Apparently the Peninsula the city was situated on flooded somewhat often and so the stilts would protect their houses from water damage. They had a single long wall extending from the base of the peninsula protecting it. Much like the previous city the wall so signs of damage and poor maintenance. This wall had sections sinking into the earth, erosion, and remaining scars of battle. The Scalefolk had decided to hold the wall rather then retreat deeper into the city. I had the Newts inside the wall wait until we begun the assault before rioting.
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
We didn't have any proper siege equipment to get through or over the wall, so we would have to go through the front door. Said front door was a heavy metal gate that if it was pristine would have been a bitch and a half to get through. Lucky from here I could see the rust all over it one could kick and that thing would be wide open.
The Scalefolk archers began their volleys, the Puppets raised their shields on reflex absorbing the first volley. The Javeliners returned fire managing to get a few of the archers but ended missing most their shots. Rasing my shield over my head I marched to the gate. Rasing my foot I kicked out and the door crumpled but still held and then I kicked it again and the metal split open and the wall was breached.
The puppets poured In behind me before reforming ranks quickly to cover any gaps in their defense. I took off after confirming that the puppets had it handled and headed to a similarly designed Temple but this one had port coming from it with several fishing ships and a processing bay. As I approached the temple I looked for any sign of their priestess in charge of the city. I heard yells of anger and I saw a burly Scalefolk in similar garb to the last priestess strangling a Newtkin. Locking onto my target a I peeled off into their direction.
Drawing my sword I moved to strike the Scalefolk as she was about to crush the Newt. Ripping into the side of the Scalefolk as they dodged to the side at the last moment sensing me. Throwing the Newtkin the Scalefolk brandished their knuckle dusters and set into a boxing stance. Lowering my self into a guard as I figured they would want to rush in close as brawler. My opponent dropped low and into an upper cut trying to evade my guard. Stepping to the side I placed the flat of my blade into the path of their fist. That's when my opponent shifted completely and now their right fist was coming for a downard strike.
Dropping under their fist I moved to the side before I counterattacked with a forward thrust. My opponent shifted quickly and stepped closer trying to attack me. Rasing my shield I let it eat a punch as I raised my sword ready and counter attacked with an overhead slash. My opponent ducked just to receive a kick to their center mass but their arm absorbed the blow.
Stepping back I waited for my opponent to attack. My opponent collected themselves for a moment before they snapped into motion with a low kick as distraction before clocking me on the side of the head. Lucky my helmet held but the shock of the blow was still jarring. Pivoting my sword I jammed my pomel into roughly were their solar plexus was winding the Priestess. Backing up she tried to recover her breath, but I wasn't about to let that happen.
Pressing the advantage I sent a faint for their left leg before shifting to low thrust into their left ribcage. Stepping back they manged to lessen the strength of the blow but I still got them. I still had to pull back as she tried to attack my exposed lower right torso.
Angling I sent a diagonal testing strike before moving in quick with my shield slamming it into their left fist. With such promictyy sword wouldnt work so I kneed them in their lower right. Bending over as I got a liver shot in I grappled their head having placed my sword in my ring. Then I began constricting trying to break the neck of my opponent. However I had forgotten that my opponent had a tail, just long enough to slam into the back of knee. Taking the movement of weakness my opponent manged to free themselves before quickly backing away. Resummoning my sword I readied myself for another exchange.
I pressed the attack sending some simple thrusts and cuts to see how agile my opponent was. I could tell by the way they staggered to dodge that they were getting tired. Shifting my feet to make seem like I was about to do a vertical slash I instead did a roundhouse kick, hitting them in their knee. Being full plate the my movement wasn't easy but brownie's were master crafters for a reason. Then I sliced a thin line across their chest diagonally before storing my sword and transitioning into a upper cut with my armour fist digging into their lower jaw. The Scalefolk lifted into the air before crashing down knocked the fuck out. With a quick slash of my resummoned sword I killed the Priestess.

Putting off assigning the stats I moved to check the city. The Puppets where finishing off the Scalefolk and the Newts were securing their city. This city had been better run the Turtenani primarily due to its value as agricultural hub for these caverns.
