The night had gotten her closer, now it was in the bathroom. More specifically, hidden on the ceiling of the bathroom. As Meko was about to get ready to get clean. The light wasn’t nice, but behind a closed door, the prey was closer. Much closer.
Suddenly, a scream shot from the bathroom of Bebe’s room, not a second later was the door kicked open. Knife ready.
Meko was holding on to his clothes over his chest and clinging to the wall and Su was smiling mischievously at Bebe. “HAR HAR! I thought he would be happy to have someone around! Not alone!”
“Get out, get out, get out.” Bebe tapped his foot fastly against the floor, Meko swore he heard two flapping noises of such. As they both left Meko in the bathroom, Walwo entered the room. A smile and a paper for some quick work.
“I found some jobs we could do, it’d be quick, and give us some money. Like you said.” Walwo handed it to Bebe.
He looked somewhat glad it wasn’t all just hunting. “You wanna go and cut hay? Or does clearing out a Gremlin Hill Barrow sound nice to you?” Bebe asked, looking up at Walwo.
Bebe already knew the answer, but to his surprise, Walwo just smiled and said, “Hay, let’s go pick up hay for the day.” Bebe nodded, and knocked on the wood bathroom door.
“Hey, Su is gonna stay here with you, and the bartender is also willing to let you stay here all day, we left you 5 Silver coins. Don’t be stupid, we’ll be back.” Then Walwo and Bebe walked off.
Meko stumbled out of the bathroom, still mostly naked. “WHAT?!” The two had already left, and Su was sleeping on the bed again. They left me? I… Well, I guess I can go talk to… the Soaper D…. LADY! The Soaper D Lady! He was slightly smiling to himself, the type of crooked smile that was depicted when someone had their favorite person near them. The water felt very heavy on Meko’s skin. He grabbed a towel, it was a bit itchy, uncomfortable, and dried off and got dressed completely. His shoes were soft, on his feet, and made little to no noise as he went down the stairs. Wondering how he was gonna even get the bartender to let him see that suit. 5 silver is nothing! I mean, father should’ve let me bring 40 gold coins, that’s what I shoulda got. Instead I got 15.
As he walks up to the bartender, who is wearing a bar tender’s snap on pants, and a white shirt, he looks both disappointed, and actually interested. “So… um… er… No one’s here this morning?” He looks around the bar for a moment. Some of the tables were shiny clean wood, while others were still a bit dirty, but overall neatly stacked dishs and card decks ready for putting away. The maid who was cleaning a table just far from the bar, but close to the exit, was weaning a simple dress, her ears moved when she noticed Meko looking at her. Before anything had been said, Meko looked back at the Bartender.
As he looked at the Bartender, she stopped wiping the mug that was in her hands. “Well, I see ya ain’t here for breakfast? There a reason you starin’ at me and my sister?” She wasn’t implying a threat, though her voice was western style of speaking, it was a question, but one that held an accusation. She looked him up and down, his clothes were very quick to see for someone who’s seen a mix of everyone. “I see, you trying to hide the money? Or is it your two friends? Don’t worry, we don’t care around here.”
Meko just stood there. His eyes darted to the left, and to the right. Once he focused his eyes back onto the Bartender, he stuttered. “I erm. I… the…” His voice got quieter. “Soaper… D. Original.” It was so quiet most people would not even hear, but she did.

The Bartender had opened her mouth just a little bit to speak, but was interrupted “Dontcha you go doing nothin’ foolish, young lady.” The door that had been on the very end of the Inn, which had the “Do not enter” plank on it was completely open. A woman whose ears were more pointed than the other two, and longer hair was standing in the entrance of that room. She had little to no wrinkles, but her purple hair looked dampened, not by water but by age, causing it to look like a soft purple instead of the two sister's hair.
The maid nodded silently, and rushed into the room passed the Older Woman. The bartender however kept wiping the mug, she looked completely calm. “Mother. I ain’t so sure what you was thinking that I’ve gotta tell this stranger, but it doesn’t have anythin’ to do with you.”
Neither of the two thought they’d be thrown out by a woman that looked older than them by at least 20 years. Yet here they were, on the soil of the town. The Bartender got up from the dirt after a few long minutes. “Welp, I hadn’t thought mother was a gonna throw us on out, but she did. Name’s Yee, nice to make you my partner.”
“Why…?” He stuttered, trying to feel his nose. “Why… ow. Did she kick ME out?” He scrunched his face in pain as he moved to get up.
“Oh, she’s always been like that, she ain’t got no liking for meddlin’ strangers like yourself, but hey. I always was waitin’ for some adventure, guess you that adventure.” Yee looked back to see her sister come up quickly and hand her a bag, it was her stuff. “ “Thanks, Sis.”
The maid runs back to the door, she obviously wasn’t used to running, as she turned back and waved, her face was sweaty, though the wind and air were a perfect day to be out. “D-Do you have a pla-”
Yee interrupted, “Nope, ain’t got no place to go. I do know a place where we can hang out till your friends come on back.” She was pointing to the alleyway between the Inn and another small building with her thumb. She seemed too collected for being someone so rough and tumble to Meko.

The sun was yet again, reaching its last hands of golden rays from the west. When Walwo and Bebe returned, walking slowly looking as if they’d both been on a ranch, with many men, and most probably mice, and Walwo was holding one. “Ya know, this mouse has to be different, I looks like a goga meeta mouse.” Bebe was counting the coin and looking at his pocket watch. He was nodding as Walwo spoke of mice.
Yee peeked her head from the alleyway, seeing Bebe go into the inn and after a few minutes walking out, she tugged Meko to wave them over. Now the group was faced with a new member yet again, Yee. “Well, I atta say, you folks look mighty trenched! Y’alls the party I’m gonna join?” She asked, knowing full well the answer.
Bebe looks over her. Wild card? No. Her style is a fit, hmm. Could be useful, but I’ll keep Su and her besides each other, if anyone can die it’s these two. “Fine, whatever…” Bebe didn’t sigh or have heavy breathing as Walwo did. “But still, we still gotta make it past this town, if we don’t got an Inn, then we need supplies, and we head out.” He checked his pocket watch, Yee’s eyes widened, she looked as if she saw a sword with wings. “Take all the collective money and go grab supplies, we’ll find something for you late-” That’d deem her useless in combat. Hmm, better get a dagger, or a sword. Knife, I’ll give her enough for a knife. Bebe took the coins he got, 10 silver coins, and handed four each to Walwo and Meko, while he only gave two to Yee. “Buy a knife, and some water. Walwo, get water, a frost bag and some meat. Meko, get your sword, shield and the axe sharpened.” Su follows Walwo as they head left of the main path, to go by food and such at the local grocery tavern, and while Meko shuffled with Yee to go find the local anvil-bud. Bebe stood there, checking his watch as he looked out at the sun, then pulled out his picture.
