The Book of Fairytales
A young 17-year-old princess called
Melody was in a library picking out books in the dead of night.
The place is quite luxurious, maybe even too eye-catching for her liking but nonetheless it was a place of learning, so she quite liked it there.
Most kids her age roam about, sometimes even sneaking out of their homes but she'd rather stay confined within the castle gates finding the outside far too dangerous compared to here where she was safe.
Eventually she stumbled upon a weird book with a title “Book of Fairytales” she'd never seen at the library before. It had a childish cover, too much so for her taste which also happened to be an abnormality for a place like the royal library. She picks it up to find herself a picture book of all things. Her expression is that of a curious one so she begins to open the book.

“A little boy is without his attendant as he had just escaped into the night. He dances around in the wilderness near the towering castle gates. He cheerfully runs around in the forest smiling about, feeling adventurous he sees a butterfly then begins to chase it with haste. Before he knows it, he's lost.”
In the book there were countless fairytale-like stories, some of royals, some of the poor, but there was a very common theme in the book and it was that nobody in the beginning seemed aware of what was going on.
Suddenly she felt drowsy as she read the letters on the page, the pictures feel as if they've pulled her in, with that she was out like a light. When she awoke, she was in a forest full of trees, dazed and confused. She wanted back, back to her home so she searched frantically for a sign that she was still nearby the castle gates at the very least. She looks for any marks that symbolize her nation but comes to a halt after a while bearing no results.
It was sunny... and since she didn't know the area it was hard to navigate. Her final conclusion being that somehow, she'd been trapped inside the book of fairy tales.
Is the start good?
