“Cover yourself and follow me.” Not wanting to waste any more time, Zhen handed them three sheets of Aroki spider silk.

  Following Zhen's lead, they slowly approached the pond.

  “Joon, fire a few arrows at the centre of the pond.”

  Following Zhen's command, Joon gathered a scarce amount of electric elements present in the air and started forming a lightning arrow.

  “I didn't know you could do something like that.” Seeing lightning appear in Joon's hand, Zhen couldn't help but ask.

  “I just figured this out. Aside from Ki arrows, I can also make fire arrows, wind arrows, lightning arrows, and water arrows.”

  Yesterday, when Joon was bored and had nothing to do, he tried gathering the other shiny particles present beside Ki.

  To his surprise, by gathering blue particles he could form water arrows, fire with red ones, and lightning with yellow particles.

  There are also a few other particles in the air, but he didn't have the chance to figure out what they could do.

  “Great! Make the arrow as strong as you can.” Zhen was genuinely excited.

  A lightning arrow to monsters who lived in water was nothing less than a death sentence.

  “This is all I can do.” After two whole minutes of sucking in all the lightning particles, Joon formed an arrow and fired it toward the centre of the pond.

  “CRACK-BOOM!” “THOOOOM!”

  Soon after the lightning arrow hit the water, a loud thunderclap sounded, and then the bodies of the Wind Frogs started coming to the surface of the pond.

  “My God! That was loud.”

  “I think… you killed… everything in… there.”

  While Kenji and Anon were marveling at the deadliness of Joon's lightning arrow, Zhen approached the pond to get a better look.

  As the ripples formed by the lightning arrow calmed down, Zhen saw Wind Frogs leaping out of the water.

  “They all aren't dead!” Zhen warned the others while hiding under the cloth made of aroki spider silk.

  A few moments after the Wind Frogs leaped into the air, the acid rain began.

  With Zhen's warning, the trio hurriedly covered themselves with the special sheet.

  “Joon, don't just stand there, move! We need to kill the Frog King, remember.” Seeing them not move an inch, Zhen had no choice but to call them over.

  “Can't we wait for the acid rain to stop?” Joon just witnessed how a single drop of a Wind Frog's acid spit made a hole in his metal-plated shoe, and he was a little on edge.

  “They will be up there for almost 10 more minutes. Dealing with the Frog King would only take a minute.” Zhen wasn't willing to waste time while the Wind Frogs hovered over his head.

  “What…are we even…supposed to…do?” Peeking his head from under the sheet, Kenji asked.

  “Just Joon is enough. You both just stand there and be on the lookout for any Frog Warrior that might jump out,” Zhen replied.

  Although the Frog King was an Elite Monster, it was just a paper tiger.

  Crouching on the ground, Joon slowly walked toward Zhen. Finally, the moment he arrived at the edge of the pond, Zhen pointed at the centre of the pond.

  “Don't worry you are fully covered. See that large leaf in the pond? You need to aim at the centre of that leaf.” Helping Joon relax a little, Zhen began guiding him toward the direction of the Frog King.

  Although the Frog King is an Elite Monster, its combat power is extremely weak, as its only job is to produce the poisonous acid that all the other Wind Frogs use.

  So, killing the Frog King is like cutting off the lifeline of all the Wind Frogs in the pond.

  And killing the Frog King is very easy, just pierce the small part of its head sticking out of the pond.

  “That shiny part, right?” After forming another lightning arrow, Joon asked to confirm the target.

  “Yes, that one.”

  The moment the arrow hit the Frog King on the head, it let out a crying scream.

  Seeing their leader get killed, all the Wind Frogs in the air dived back into the pond, while a group of Frog Warriors emerged from the pond to take revenge.

  “Run away!” Zhen shouted while jumping into the pond.

  With the help of the water-repellent pearl, Zhen was unaffected by the toxins and safely made his way toward the centre of the pond.

  By the time he neared the Frog King's body, all the Wind Frogs in the pond had gathered around to protect their king.

  “This is going to be difficult.” Seeing the thousands of Wind Frogs, along with many Frog Warriors, staring at him with deadly green eyes, Zhen felt the intensity of the situation.

  If he didn't get out of the pond soon, his life would be in danger.

  “I should hurry up.” As the Wind Frogs charged at him, Zhen used his newest skill [Shield].

  Soon, a slight transparent wall appeared before him, and he hurried toward the Frog King's body without a care in the world.

  [Shield] was a D-rank skill capable of withstanding attacks from Elite Monsters, so it wasn't going to break under the assault of Wind Frogs or Frog Warriors.

  “One isn’t enough.”

  As Zhen moved closer to the Frog King’s body, attacks came from all directions.

  With no other choice, he deployed three more [Shield]s, completely enclosing himself.

  “Thud!” “Thud!” “Thud!”

  The Wind Frogs slammed against the barriers as he pushed forward.

  “Finally… but the consumption is too high.”

  It took time, but Zhen eventually reached the Frog King’s body and stored it in his bag.

  Maintaining the [Shield]s, he quickly swam toward the shore.

  “Why are… there so…many of them?”

  Above the surface, Kenji, Anon, and Joon were facing fierce retaliation. Level 3 Frog Warriors attacked recklessly, each one that fell was quickly replaced by two more emerging from the pond.

  “Just hold them off until Zhen gets out!” Joon shouted, desperately dodging their attacks.

  No matter how hard he tried to create distance, he couldn’t overcome their powerful jumping ability.

  While Joon struggled, Anon and Kenji were cutting down Frog Warriors one after another.
