The squad walked ahead, and suddenly they felt something leave their bodies. They stopped at once and held their heads. For Elna, Melfer, and Felmer, this feeling was familiar.
“Isn’t this just like during the third trial?” Felmer asked, confused.
“Yeah. This means our consciousness is here, and our bodies are outside.” Elna commented.
“Is that a problem?” Lelis asked.
“No…” Felmer replied.
“But we didn’t see other bodies outside…” Melfer objected.
“They must be there. We failed to notice.” Felmer responded.
“There is a problem…” The captain said, looking behind him. He placed his hands on the walls and tried to press. “We are stuck…”
“Stuck?” Melfer exclaimed.
“This means we need to defeat the queen to escape,” Elna said.
Then suddenly, they felt some rustling bushes behind them. They immediately grabbed their rifles and turned. Nearly 20 men surrounded them, aiming their arrows at them.
“Who are you? And what are those things in your hands?” A man, who seemed to lead them, shouted.
“Are you men of the queen?” Felmer asked back.
“No…We are locals.”
“I am the prince of Cerfis…” Felmer replied.
The man signalled, and everyone lowered their bows. Felmer gave the same signal.
“Follow me…I will take you to our chief…” The man said.
Felmer thought and decided to follow him.

‘I am not wasting energy on unnecessary battles…’ Felmer thought.
The man went inside the forest, and the squad followed him. Walking through the dense forest, they soon arrived at a mountain. In its foot was a cave. The squad entered the cave and saw a man sitting on a stone throne. The man walked up to the chief and told him about them.
The chief walked ahead and stood near Felmer. The getup of everyone was very out of time. Like a century old.
“It is brave of Cerfis to send their prince against the queen just two months after the Great War.” The chief said.
“Two what?” Felmer was shocked.
Everyone was shocked by those words. 130 years had passed since the Great War.
“Why are you so shocked like that?” The chief was confused. “And what are those on your back?”
“Are you mad? 130 years have passed since the war. Are you living under a stone?” Felmer asked.
“130 years!?!? How? How is that possible?” The chief was scared and shocked.
“This means…That barrier is a time dilation realm. We are in a realm, not a barrier…” The captain understood immediately.
“What are you all talking about? Who even are you? Barrier? Realm?” The chief stepped back and pulled out his sword.
His men did the same and pointed their swords at the squad.
“Calm down…We will explain…” Felmer tried to calm the chief. “Just hear us out…”
The chief looked at them in fear.
‘People from the future? Is doomsday near?’ He thought.
The chief walked up to his throne and stood there, sword still in hand.
“Speak!” He said, his voice shaking.
Felmer took a deep breath and explained everything. By the time he was finished, it was noon. It was a long history lesson.
Felmer pulled out his bottle and drank water. He was tired due to speaking for a long time.
“I never knew being a teacher was this hard…” Felmer commented as he filled his thirst.
The locals seemed to understand what Felmer told. Felmer explained as clearly and easily as possible.
“I still don’t understand those barriers and realms. But I do understand the history…” The chief said. His sword was in its sheath.
“We have to act fast…We don’t have enough time,” Captain Irnik said to Felmer.
Well, according to this. The queen attacked us a month ago. We are the locals, resisting her rule. That castle was ours. We know about the magical particles. She has a jewel. It gives her immense power. She is also called the blood queen, due to her prowess with blood.” The chief relayed the information to the squad.
Felmer nodded and understood what he heard.
“So if she is killed, this realm falls?” The man who led them here, said.
“Yes…It will…” Felmer replied. “We both have a common enemy. Are you willing to help us?”
“I believe you. I believe every word you said. The swords and those rifles are enough proof for me. If you are from the future, this means you are powerful. So…” The chief said, walked near Felmer, and extended his hands. “I will help you…”
‘He trusted us pretty fast…’ Felmer thought. ‘Well, it’s in our favour.’
Felmer shook his hand, and the alliance was formed.
