I sate my hunger and aim to go towards a secluded spot I discovered a while ago to test my skills. This spot used to be a warehouse used for industrial purposes. It is located just on the outskirts of the central zone.

  I feel a slight unease creeping up on me but decide that it is just the side effect of my awakening.

  At the nearest bus stop, I wait for about a minute till a bus comes by. It will drop me at about a thirty minute distance from the warehouse. The warehouse is surrounded by dense forests and resides nearby a river. The river separates the outer zone from the main zone, it is about a hundred meters wide. I go through a well known path that I mapped out several times to avoid bumping into any wild animals. I am surrounded by Banyan trees all over the path. It is around 10:30 P.M. now, the forest is eerily quiet for some reason. The moon, well the Luna colony glows from outer space and spares me some light.

  Shit is eerie. Silence in the wild is more dangerous than noise. Noise means activity, activity usually done by the second trophic level of the food chain. Predators are quiet. Silence means the powerless have fled and the powerful reign.

  I do not have any weapons apart from a small pocket knife. I remain wary of my surroundings, turning around would be the optimal choice right now. But I decide to keep going forwards, in case of any emergency I can always call the cops. They usually take a few seconds, maybe 40 seconds to respond . I am confident that I can hold out against any wild animal for that amount of time with my strengthened body.

  I take care to avoid leaves and twigs fallen on the ground. I walk with a steady pace.

  It is quiet, too damn still.

  I can feel my heartbeat . Sweat drips down my forehead. Adrenaline flows through my blood. My body is tense. Tall banyan trees filter the light coming from the sky. The flora suggests that I must be nearing the destination. Alright, I'm her--------

  I trust my intuition and plan to move towards the warehouse to inspect it. I hear nothing, only the sound of my organ. Luna welcomes me into the clearing and even the river feels still, as if it is holding its breath while it watches what is happening. With every next step, I become more nervous. I finally enter the warehouse. What I see next shocks me.

  The first thing that comes to my mind is beautiful. An ethereal woman lays there with her body supported on a gray pillar. She has blue hair and blue eyes complimented by a fair, almost pale skin. She looks towards me with her almond eyes, reassured. Her full and well-defined lips break a slight smile. Moonlight shines down upon her through some cracks on the factory wall. She is a goddess that has stepped down in the mortal realm. A goddess that bleeds the same as mortals.

  She is adorned by black armor that covers everything from her shoulders to her legs, there used to be armor at her stomach too. The armor is foreign, it is fit to the perfect body made by a material unknown to me . It has designs of red flowers near her thighs. That is the only thing I notice after the pool of blood below her, almost confusing the continuity of the flower and blood.

  Her stomach has been carved out. She speaks, " I understand that they have fled because of you. Thank you for helping me " Huh, what is she talking about ?She continues," Make haste, stop my bleeding and call our allies. "

  I quickly rush to her side, take out my knife and then I kill her.
