Brushing out my hair and putting it into a ponytail, “ And there is the impatience I've come to love about you.” Sticking out my tongue, I grabbed her hand. “ Come on then.” Leaning over, I pecked her cheek and led her to the maintenance room, which led to the hidden elevator. I think her reaction was pretty much the same as mine. Good to know I am not the only one surprised. We were quiet on the quick ride down, but the moment we entered the System zone, we both moaned at the sudden rush of power as our stats fully kicked in.
The elevator opened, and stepping out into the room, I realized she hadn't left it. “ Something wrong?”
Her eyes were staring at me as if she had never seen me before, or shit, did I have a pimple on my nose or something? “Holy shit, you have this ethereal glow about you. I mean, you have always been hot, especially in a nerdy sexy way, but fuck Sara, you would put super models out of business.” I beamed under her praise as I walked back over to her and grabbed her hand, pulling her into the large underground bunker,
“We are in a system-controlled area, so what you are seeing is my full Charisma stat, and I imagine my race and bloodline have something to do with it as well. Hang on a second, let me see if I can share my status tab with you. “ It took a moment, but really it was intuitive. Just concentrate on the person you want to share with, accept the system prompt, and boom.
I gave her a moment as she looked it over. I could tell she was reading some of the descriptions by how she would smirk or let out a soft chuckle. She came over and hugged me. “ I imagine some of what the System said to you wasn't easy to take in.” I literally melted at her words. I hugged her back tightly. It wasn't that the System was wrong in what it said, but in the end, sometimes it is really hard to be confronted with your own major faults.
After we broke the brief hug, she went back, skimming over my sheet; I could tell from how her eyes glazed over. “ I think it was wise of you not to pick out your skills yet. There is a lot that neither one of us knows concerning what will require what to make it work out properly. Honestly, getting an early shot at the System was better for you than anything else. Also, why haven't you assigned something to me from our bond? “ The excitement in what she could get was evident in her eye, which caused me to smile again.
“I haven't looked yet cause I didn't want to give you something that might not work with your build. “If that wasn't a hint for me to know what she got, I don't know what was.
“Oh, it didn't give me a choice on race as it did with you, but I got a Rare class Blade Weaver. Here, let me share my status.”
Humans
Often called the cockroaches of any universe. They are one of the most populous races and can be found everywhere. That ice planet that shouldn't have any life, yeah, can easily find humans not only surviving but thriving. How about that planet with a toxic atmosphere? Yeah, humans figured out how to live in it. That planet you thought you just bombed into some wasteland where no life could live. Yeah, some humans survived and are now recovering, plotting on how to fuck your mother.
Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
Adaptability
Humans gain this from their ability to adapt to any environment, whether through evolution, ingenuity, or technology. Gain a 10% Resistance to all elemental and toxic resistances.
Sixth Sense
Humans, particularly from Earth, have an uncanny ability to sense danger, know a good deal, or just when to act at the right time. Often called a gut feeling. At higher Ranks, this ability will border on the supernatural. Each rank increases the chance of it activating by 1%.
+2 Free points per level
Blade Weaver
A deadly mix of dexterity and magic, they are a menace on any battlefield. A Hybrid class, they get the best of both worlds, but the user must balance the skills between physical and magic to be effective. They are grace incarnate with impeccable footwork, an ability to move around attacks, and confuse their opponents with their seemingly random movements. Requirements for this Rare class are Dancing and Acrobatics. They may only channel their magic through a melee weapon.
Active skills: Start with 5, and gain 2 every five levels
+2 Dex, Vit, and Per every three levels.
Find Weak Point
Used against armored opponents. This ability enables the user to pinpoint exactly where to strike against those who fear the blade and cower like cowards.

Imbue Weapon (ice): With your affinity for ice, you can imbue your weapon with ice Mana.
Inflict Slow 2 % chance per 3 levels. Max percentage chance is 50%

Inflict Slow 5%/Rank. Max Percentage is 75%
It took me a minute to read through it, but it was cool that she included the descriptions that weren't obvious. I was impressed that the class seemed like it would be a DPS hell in a fight, especially as she gained levels. I did laugh at the description for Humans, but damn if someone really focused on tooling their [Sixth Sense] that could be a game changer for any Human. “Wow, though I wonder why you have ranks next to your stuff, and I don't.”
A little pop sounded as Ari appeared standing on my left thigh. Like seriously. All I heard was Katie gasp, “ Oh my God, she is so cute. Is she the guide? We should call our group Succubus favorites.“ I stood there listening for a few seconds as Katie lost it over Ari's appearance. I sighed, for in the back of my mind I knew this would happen. It was why I was trying to hold off on bringing her out for as long as possible. Threw it all, Ari preened like a peacock under the attention.
“Ohh, I like her, Sara. I see why you wanted her so badly. “ Ari batted her lashes at Katie. 'Was that little bitch flirting with my girl?' I grumbled at the thought but kept it quiet cause there was that part of me that thought Katie was being totally adorable. “To answer your question. Sara, you haven't finished your bloodline quest. So it's going to stay incomplete until that happens. Might say it is the System's way of encouraging you to finish up.”
Guess that made sense. “OK, well, let's first get Katie her skill. But honestly, I am not in a hurry till I know how my skills interact and what needs what to make me effective if I am going down the evil tech genius route.” That comment caused Katie to laugh.
“Should we start calling you Mega Mind?” I shot her a glare at her giggle as she said it. Sighing, it brought up the options for Katie.
Up the Stats.
With your bond, the bonded will receive + 10% of your stat totals.
Weapon's Bond.
When using a weapon crafted by the Sara, the bonded gains up to a 10% chance with all affliction abilities and skills. Also, up to a 10% increase in Damage to all abilities and skills.
The percentage depends on how much of the crafted weapon is done by the maker.
I showed Katie the options as we both complimented them. Katie spoke up first,” Weapon's Bond. At a higher level, I could see the first option become a huge benefit, but right now, the Second option, I think, is the best.” I had to agree with her. Again, I feel like the System is really trying to push me in a direction.
“You do realize that it would be like some sort of dildo sword.” I laughed at what I said. “I mean, I am sure I could take some skills to craft some sort of regular weapon, but it won't be as good,” I smirked as I saw her smile.
“OK, so what. I can just beat someone to death with a twelve-inch black dildo. That has so many one-liners just waiting to happen.”
I could see the mirth in her grin, and I shrugged, assigning it to her” OK, done. “ I took a moment to see what I got.
Harem boost.
For each person in your harem, you get a +1 to all stats. This will increase to +2 at level 20. And an additional +1 for every ten levels.
Gain one level in any skill.
Well, that isn't bad. It will really make a difference at the higher levels for sure. I wonder how many people I could eventually have. It was two right now. Perhaps that is how the System keeps it fair, by restricting the number I can have at certain levels. It made sense along with everything else I've been seeing.
“So I guess should start brainstorming what skills I should pick out.” That really seemed like something that could drag out in hours of discussion. Surprisingly, Ari spoke out with a different idea.
“Actually, why don't you set up your System Store upgrade. I think you will like it. Instead of a digital panel or a shopping window, you get access to an actual store. Often, depending on which store the System gives you access to, they have extra services. So it might be beneficial for you two to go there. “
Well, that sealed it as Katie, and I looked at each other. “Shopping spree,” we both said at the same time. Yeah, it was something we had practiced when we were teenagers, and it sorta of stuck even to this day. Going right into my Shelter tab, I saw a few options that I could do with the points I had available, but the highlighted System shop icon was a bright green. Choosing that I watched as a doorway appeared right next to the entrance to the store room, and a pedestal appeared next to the doorway with glyphs arched over the door frame.”What's that, Ari?”
“Oh, so certain rooms are what the System considers spatial rooms. So let's say you choose a Training Room for an add-on with your points. You just use the panel for your choice, and the door will lead into a Training room. Once you enter, someone else can use it to head to a different room. But don't worry, you will be able to exit any time and be returned right to your shelter.” Well, damn if that didn't save on space as well.
As both of us stepped up to the podium, I noticed a small slit in the panel, kind of like a coin slot. “ Hey Ari, what is this for?” pointing to it.
“It's for a dungeon coin. Also, you can purchase coins that attune to your shelter. It is a way for you to interact with others who have a shelter or a Rank 3 or higher portal tent or home. Right now, all you can earn are Training Dungeon coins, but once Earth is integrated into the System, you will occasionally earn Dungeon coins that can get you special rewards for running them. “
Remembering I had earned two coins, I wondered where they were for a moment. I took a look at my status and found the inventory tab. “Ohh, we have spatial storage. I love it. “
“Everyone gets a twenty slot stackable storage space. It isn't large, so I recommend you keep only important items in there. Unless you have a soul-bound storage item, otherwise an external item can be taken or stolen from you.”
Nodding as I looked in my storage, I saw the coin, my 70k worth of credits, and a rune inscribing starter kit.” Cool, OK, and what I just think about it and it comes out.” I see Ari standing on the podium nodding in agreement to my words,” Well, shit that works.” Out of the corner of my eye, I can see Katie's smile in excitement. Plus, I had a couple of questions answered without more questions added to the list.
I hit the option for System Shop and watched as the runes over the door glowed blue, wiggling into different shapes before the door faded, and a blue portal appeared.”I can't be summoned while in the shop, but I am sure the shopkeeper will be more than happy to answer your questions.” With that, Ari faded as Katie and took each other's hand and stepped into the portal.
