Antikythera read through the human's hormonal changes, physical health, and brain activity as he revealed his pns to her. Out of all Eight Fingers' leaders, it is this woman who was the perfect candidate to be his voice. She has made multiple connections with nobles over the years and holds far more leverage over them compared to that of the other leaders, "you reserve some secrets for yourself,"
"Yes." Hilma nodded and Antikythera guessed that she must be thinking something along the lines of keeping some secrets to herself is a good idea. And it was, some of the secrets she withdrew from the other leaders are about rather gruesome acts from foolish nobles, secrets that held far more value than they normally would.
"I do not want to learn anything about these secrets, just that I expect you to use them to my advantage when the time comes. I do not want nobles to start attacking my caches, deliveries, or other vital assets." Antikythera continued when Hilma nodded, "you will tell them that you are familiar with my deliveries and that you ordered them. I will not tolerate any interference."
Hilma hastily nodded, "I'll make sure no one messes with your stuff. Definitely."
"I expect you to give me results, any confiscated gear should be returned to me. Or should it come to Eight Fingers' possession, be paid for." Antikythera crossed his arms, a gesture he noted to be intimidating for humans, especially those of more questionable morals. If he could bare his teeth through a grin, he would to further emphasize his threat within the subconscious mind of this woman.
"We'll pay for it-" Hilma paused, and just then she finally realized what Antikythera had been implying all this time. "What are we paying for?" She looked at him with raw curiosity, "if it's you whose selling them then they must be good right?"
"I am gd you finally asked- I am selling weaponry and high quality metal ingots." Antikythera opened his storage and took out a gun, one of the spares produced by his floor. "These."
Hilma took the rifle by the nozzle and ran her other hand across its wooden surface. She had a puzzled look on her face as she eyed the gun, Antikythera sent a message to Demiurge that this world did not know about firearms upon seeing this. Red Drop is now a bigger mystery because it simply didn't make sense for someone to possess a Powered Suit when the rest of the world is unaware what a gun even is.
"What is this?" Hilma looked up at him, "no- you said this is a weapon? I don't see how this thing can be used, it's shorter than a spear and hollow so it's not even better than a club."
Antikythera felt offended, not even better than a club? Whatever club this woman could aquire would shatter upon striking that weapon, and then the gun can bash the tree the club was made from and split it in half.
"That is one of my weapons with better quality," Antikythera let the slight pass instead of pushing it, the woman was ignorant but she will see the true value of the weapon soon enough. "You can keep it, the rest of my deliveries will be much weaker than that. And as for how to use that? If you'll follow me outside?"
Hilma nodded and kept the weapon close. The rifle, by his estimates, wasn't even that good. The two of them stopped at the center of the estate's front yard, Hilma looked around, curious while Antikythera opened his storage box to take out his personal bayonet.
The bayonet had a shaft colored in gleaming gold, a nozzle of Mithril budded from its tip, a knife made with the same material was attached at its underside. Wood found only at the depths of Helheim's forests was used to make its butt and handle, the automaton pressed a finger against a trigger of beautiful ivory. This rifle is something that his creator personally crafted for Antikythera's use, and with it, he guarded the tomb again and again.
"A relic?" Hilma's breath caught in her throat.
"This is my personal weapon you fool! Not some ancient tool I've dug from some ruins!" Antikythera pointed his bayonet at the human woman, "call this a relic again and I will make sure the target of my demonstration is- you."
"I won't!" Hilma backed away, scared.
Antikythera turned his gun onto the nearest wall, he originally pnned to take shots at the night sky but since his host decided to call his rifle a relic, he changed it so that the stone walls which surrounded her home has a hole on it. He pulled the lever of the gun and shifted its ammo type by activating the runes residing within the chamber, turning what should have been piercing rounds into detonation rounds which will decimate everything in its path.
The runes on the rifle's shaft began to glow, "to use this thing, you just need to pull the trigger and it'll shoot a projectile which will put [Magic Missile] to shame."
Antikythera did just that, the red shape which rushed out of his gun reached the wall in seconds and exploded. Yellow colored the surroundings for a brief moment before it died down along with the explosion, smoke rose from the spot which experienced the wrath of a detonation round and an open space sat where walls once stood. A part of the forest behind it got affected as well, clearing several trees and creating a rge crater.
When Antikythera looked back at Hilma, the human was staring at the weapon in her hands with an unreadable expression. She raised it and pointed it towards the ground, she pulled the trigger and a bullet shot out.
"I..." Hilma hugged the gun, "what do you want? I'll give it to you."
So she was finally listening?
"I want you to call a meeting with the rest of the leaders, tell them who I am, what I want, and show them the gun I gave you. Tell them that there are more where that came from and if they wish to buy some for me, I will be more than happy to sell. If they want iron or any other type of refined metal then I am also able to provide it." Antikythera finished, "and second, I want you to be my spy-" the Hanzos would take that role but it is best to give the woman a small misunderstanding of her usefulness to him. "- and will tell me everything that goes on in your little group."
Hilma nodded again, "I'll do it. But I also want to put my own conditions," Antikythera gestured for her to do speak, "I want you to sell your guns to me, only me, and I will transfer them to the other leaders if they want one of these things."
She wants a monopoly? That's it? Antikythera expected her to be far more ambitious than that but he supposed she must be thinking that she cannot step out of line. "Done, but if you wish for me to fulfill your request, you're gonna have to call a meeting with the other leaders immediately. I expect you to do this tonight."
Hilma agreed like fulfilling the task wasn't even an issue.
