Alex widened his eyes a little, surprised that it was possible to purchase a skill. Though he quickly brushed off the thought as being another part of the dream, instead continuing to browse through the options.

Getting any of these skills would be a massive increase in Alex’s chance of survival, sadly he soon realized that each of the skills cost an extreme
amount of SC. The lowest priced skill that he found would cost him nearly a 3rd of his current SC. So Alex reluctantly decided to get a weapon first and
use the SC he had left after to get any useful skill that he could still afford.
While exiting the tent, Alex took a deep look at his surroundings. A blue dome rose far above the market place, and through the dome he could see the
bright blue sky, not a cloud in sight; surrounding the market was a forest that spread out into the horizon. In the market place itself, Alex saw people
beginning to huddle together and talk in low voices. After taking this in for a second, he returned his attention to finding a suitable weapons tent.
A minute or two of browsing allowed Alex to find two suitable options; the first was a very clean looking tent with a truckload of items hanging on the
walls, all of the items in this tent had a very generic description. The second was a rickety tent with a seemingly random assortment of items strewn
across the wall. Each of the items in this tent were descriptionless, only the price tag hovered above them. The major advantage of this tent was how
cheap each of the items were compared to the normal looking tents. The average price of the armor he had seen in the other tents was 2,200+ SC, but
Alex did not see a single item in this entire tent above 2,000 SC. Though it was possible that was due to a lack of quality, Alex guessed that it was more

of a luck of the draw system. Not seeing the descriptions meant that you did not know what you were buying. Thus it could be great or it could be shit.
After considering, he concluded he was willing to risk it. While he could be wrong and everything in this tent was bad, it was unlikely that anything was
entirely worthless. If Alex did end up getting worthless items, then he would still have more SC left over for skills. Which he thought would help him out
more in the long run.
Alex walked into the shop, browsing the many items. There was a massive blue sword, an ordinary looking red leather cloak, a katana with a few runes
across its surface that gave Alex a nasty feeling, a large shield with a few cracks, and so much more. As he walked around the room, he stopped by a
pair of daggers. They had a red gem encrusted on the hilt, emanating an incredibly faint glow. Each of the daggers looked worn down, rust visible on
the blades once they were removed from the sheath; the only thing not worn down was the red gem on the hilts. But nevertheless he felt an odd draw
to them. Alex nearly heard them calling out to him. The price was a neat 850 SC, not so much that he limited his ability to buy a good skill, but not so
little as to imply that they were useless.
Alex also grabbed a red cloak he had seen earlier in hope it would provide him with a little bit of defence. Though he did not feel any real draw towards
the cloak it was decently high priced at 1,900 SC, it met the standards of the rogue class, he did not think that the system would price something that
high if it were just trash, and he thought that the cloaks high price was evened out by the dagger’s low price. So Alex walked up to the payment stand
and dumped the items in front of the cashier. The cashier looked up with its eyebrows raised in surprise. Alex was likely one out of a small group of
people that had actually bought something from this tent, most buyers turned away by the tent’s state. The cashier's surprise caused Alex to
contemplate for a second, whether or not these were just system constructs or real people, before he brushed the idea away.
“Would you like to purchase these items for 2,750 SC?” the cashier said after a quick glance at the items.
The question prompted a system notification to confirm his purchase.
Would you like to exchange 2,750 SC for (The Bloodied Blade) and (Wardens Mantle)? Y/N
Alex waited with baited breath as he accepted the notification.
Congratulations on buying (The Bloodied Blades) and (Wardens Mantle), their descriptions are now available to you.
- The Bloodied Blades (Uncommon) *cursed*
Though it is unknown what these blade’s history truly was, one can see the marks of war are deeply ingrained upon the blades. The bloody path they traveled became a part of the daggers themselves, giving them unique effects. Though its past master is gone from this world, their memory lives on in these blades.
Bloodletting: Wounds made with these blades are far harder to close and bleed far more than any normal wound.
Blood drain *cursed*: Will passively absorb Health from its master while wielded against a foe. The blades strikes will be empowered as it absorbs your health,
- 2 dex, 1 vit
- Wardens Mantle (Uncommon+) unawakened
Before his death, The Warden of Erinsguard imbued the surviving pieces of his soul into his cloak. However, the process of embedding his soul within this mantle ripped any memories or personality that the original soul had, leaving the cloak with a dormant soul. Though the soul may be catatonic as of now, its nature is fused with the cloak granting it abilities beyond that of normal artifacts.
Living Artifact: As it has its own soul, the artifact can operate separately of its master’s will. Allowing it to defend against attacks that its master is unaware of. While bound to this soul, the cloak gains the ability to move/warp around its owner, too great to protect them. Has a form of sight that does not require eyes.
Dormant Mind: Though it is dormant for the foreseeable future, the soul retains the ability to awaken which would allow it to act for purposes other than to protect the owner. Until it is awakened it will remain an ‘uncommon’ grade item. WARNING, this awakening may lead to the Wardens Mantle going against its owners wishes as it gains sentience, possibly even attempting to hinder its wielder.
Soulbound: Will bind itself to its master, allowing the soul within the mantle to share some of its power with its master. While also binding the two together at a spiritual level.
- 2 vit, 2 mana (unawakened)
7,250 SC remaining.
