Chapter 10 — The State of Loss

  Arthian walked away

  without informing anyone.

  No signals sent.

  No traces left.

No intention for anyone to find him.

  He simply moved out of

  the Static domain

that had once been his "ground."

  No one stopped him.

  No one asked.

  No one turned to look.

  He simply

  disappeared

from the space that did not want him.

  The transitional area

  was where domains were incomplete.

  Not a resting zone.

  Not a shared space.

  Not under anyone's protection.

  There,

the light of dawn did not reach,

and darkness was not complete enough to consume.

  It was simply

  emptiness

with no duty to support anyone.

  Arthian stopped

at a point where Static Flow

  barely coursed.

  If it were someone else,

  their body would begin trembling.

  Their mind would begin fracturing.

  But he felt nothing.

  Not because he was strong,

but because there was nothing left to hold onto.

  Sounds from outside

  slowly faded.

  No sound of Lumis.

The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.

  No rhythm of Kronosvar's Static.

  No tremor of the domain.

  When nothing disturbed,

  the sound from within

  began to grow louder.

  It was not sound,

  but tremor.

The tremor that had been covered

  by support,

  by effort,

  by maintaining others' balance.

  In his chest,

  something was breaking.

  Not violently.

  No tearing.

  No pain.

  It was breaking

in a way the structure accepted—

knowing it could no longer hold form.

  Arthian perceived it

  without resistance.

He did not try to support.

  Did not try to heal.

Did not try to ask "why."

  For the first time,

he did not try to maintain anyone's Veracity.

  He released.

  Released the domain.

  Released the shared rhythm.

Released responsibility no one ever requested.

  Released even

  the meaning of having existence.

  But this was not acceptance.

  Not forgiveness.

Not acknowledging that "everything follows its course."

  It was

disconnecting from a system without Veracity.

  Like unplugging

from a machine that used his power without return.

  Meanwhile,

  within the Static domain,

  Kronosvar stood

at the central point of flow.

He did not have to fight.

  Did not have to seize.

  Did not have to force.

  Everything simply "fell into place."

  Lumis stood beside him.

  Her flow smooth.

  Stable.

  Without tremor.

  She felt good.

  No need to adjust.

  No need to receive.

  No need to support anyone.

  The domain existed well

  without Arthian.

  And that

  was the most perfect victory.

  Kronosvar did not smile.

  Did not show satisfaction.

  He simply stood

in the position that should have been his from the start.

  Back in the transitional area,

  Arthian sank down.

  Not from weakness,

but because there was no need to stand anymore.

  No one waited for him.

  No one wanted him.

  No space demanded his existence.

  He simply

  sat down

  in the emptiness.

  In that state,

  he entered the lowest point.

  Not suffering.

  Not anger.

  Not sadness.

  But zero.

  When everything decreases to zero,

  what was never touched

  begins to move.

  In the Static Great Universe,

  beyond anyone's perception,

  the Origin Core

that had split away since before the beginning

trembled for the first time in eternity.

It did not respond to calls.

  Did not respond to power.

  Did not respond to will.

  But it responded to

  "true emptiness."

  Emptiness

  that did not demand.

  Did not possess.

  Did not bind.

  Emptiness

that accepted not being the center of anything.

  Arthian did not see it.

  Did not know it existed.

  He only felt that

  in that emptiness,

  something was "looking back."

  Not eyes,

  but perception.

  The tremor in his chest

  slowly changed frequency.

  Not more violent.

  Not calmer.

  But deeper.

  It was not sound.

  Not words.

  But a feeling

  seeping in from somewhere.

  "You were not mistaken.

  You simply

  stood in the wrong place."

If anyone observed at that moment,

  they would say

  Arthian was collapsing.

  But at a deeper level,

  he was ceasing to be

"what the world expected him to be."

  And in the final moment,

before the state of loss consumed everything,

  the Static Great Universe

  experienced movement no one perceived.

  Not a storm.

  Not sudden change.

  But

  an axis shift.

  The quietest storm

  began forming.

  Not a storm of vengeance,

but a storm of new law.

  Law not based on loyalty.

  Not based on covenant.

  Not based on binding.

  Law based on

"one who belongs to no one."

  Arthian remained seated

  in the transitional area.

Watching Static Flow that coursed too still.

  Not knowing

  what was responding to him.

  Not knowing

  the world was shifting.

  He simply existed

in a state where there was nothing to maintain.

  And that

was the end of Act I.

The point where the holder of Veracity

  ceased being emotionally human

so that something older than the universe

  could begin moving again.

In the darkness of the transitional area,

  Arthian closed his eyes.

  His breath lightened

  until nearly absent.

But in the deepest part of existence,

  something was awakening.

  Not power.

  Not arousal.

  Not restoration.

  But

  the first perception.

  And in that very moment,

the Origin Core that had split away since before the beginning

found what it had waited for across endless eternity.

One who belonged to no one.

One not bound to the old system.

  One who accepted emptiness

without trying to fill it with false meaning.

  And in that darkness,

the first light of Act II

  began forming.
