V1: Chapter 3: Meet the Roommates

I head down the concrete path to the Eastern Dormitory, Qu Yi following right behind me. The incident seems to have been of help with her pacing issue, as she is keeping up much better now. “All right, you’re going to be bunking in the Eastern Dormitory with Yan Liang and Wen Chou.” I turn my head to peek at her from the corner of my eye.

“Are everyone’s names going to be something like that here?” She has a frown on her face, averting her eyes. “I’d much rather be called Quinton still.”

I roll my eyes, “Kid, if you call yourself something like that, you’ll get even more attention than you bargain for, not to mention your family name is in the back for some reason.” I sense a confused look trained on the back of my head. “Having to call your mother, ‘Mrs. Yung’ was extremely off-putting.” I shudder slightly.

“Wait, the last names are not at the end of the name here?” she asks, puzzlement filling her voice.

“Here, the name you came in with is the weird one,” I respond as I open the door to the dormitory and let her go past me. “Honestly, I don’t know if you keeping your same initials was worth it. Now it adds another layer of confusion with your family name being ‘Qu;’ despite your family name supposedly being ‘Yung.’”

As we approach the elevator in the foyer, I hear some of the students beginning to gossip about the fact that there is a new student. Word is bound to spread fast. I enter and press the button for floor 5, causing it to light up. Qu Yi pulls her suitcase in the elevator with me, turns around, and notices some of the eyes of the nearby girls gazing at her. She quickly averts hers away and scoots her body out of view into the front corner of the elevator until the doors closes.

I let out a sigh of relief. “I am at least glad you decided to ask this to me. It would be a pain had you learned that another way. Might have caused suspicion.” The elevator ding alerts the world that we rise further in the building.

“Suspicion?” she mutters to herself, lost in thought, “I hardly know how to even talk to people who aren’t trying to torment me. I know nothing about talking to girls, let alone being one.”

I respond with a shrug of my shoulders. “Can’t say I know anything about any of that. My advice? Do less talking and let their assumptions fill in the holes.” The final ding fills the room as the elevator comes to a stop, opening the doors for us. “Here we are. Floor five.”

A narrow hallway with dark blue carpet awaits us as I turn right with Qu Yi following. “Your room is 513, on the right of the elevator.” I pass by a door on both my left and my right, stopping at the next door on the left. “Here’s your key.” I hand her the key to her room before sticking in my master key to unlock and open the door. As I creak it open, the two of us can hear the two occupants in the middle of a conversation.

“C’mon! Just a few pitches! Then you can go back to studying!” A brash voice comes from the room.

“You’re acting like you’re actually going to stop at a few pitches! I have to study ahead for the twins, so let me focus!” Is a swift and annoyed response.

I push the door open, “oh good, you’re both here. Your third roommate has just arriv-”

  “GAH! A BURGLAR!”

Instantly a large wooden blunt object goes straight into my forehead, following soon after by a soft bounce on the carpeted ground. I blink for a few moments, trying to realize what has just transpired. Suddenly a throbbing pain is coming from where the blunt object hit. “Ow.” I look at the two perpetrators. One is covering her mouth, her face framing a horrified expression. The other is standing in a throwing position like an idiot. “Well congratulations you two, you may have just earned yourself a month’s worth of detention.”

The girl on the bed with shoulder length black hair and upturned ends gasps. “W-Wait! W-What did I do Mr. Lei? I was just trying to study!” She holds up the large textbook in her lap for emphasis. She then points to the girl with neck length messy short teal hair. “Wen Chou was the one who threw it at you!”

The girl who is STILL in the throwing position gasps at the accusation, as if it is a shocking thing. “How could you sell me out like this, Yan Liang?! You were right on board to pitch to me and help me practice!”

“I was going to do no such thing! I wanted to study!” She continues shaking her textbook for further emphasis, before quickly covering her face in shame. “I can’t get a detention! I’ve never gotten one before! I don’t even know what it’s like!”

Wen Chou jumps to her feet and folds her arms. “Well, there’s a first time for everything!” She raises her hand in an attempt to get my attention further. “We are both at fault, Mr. Lei!”

Yan Liang jumps up hearing the accusation, “W-Why are you trying to drag me down with you Wen Chou?! Is it because of the pudding incident?!” She turns to me on the verge of tears. “W-What did I do Mr. Lei?”

I begin rubbing the goose egg on my forehead with my right hand and point to her with my left. “Failed to catch it. Now, I COULD give you both detention for a month, assault on a staff and all that, or, you two could do what I was PLANNING on doing BEFORE this unfortunate incident and give your new roommate a tour for me.” I push Qu Yi into the room further, allowing the two to notice her.

“Wait, new roommate?!” Yan Liang perks up suddenly. Beaming she jumps off of her bed that is located next to the door and stands next to Qu Yi, grabbing both her hands with both of her own. “I’m Yan Liang!” she grins and says happily. Her face shifts to one of annoyance, eyes shifting to the roommate behind her. “That one is Wen Chou,” an annoyed tone replacing her cheerful one.

Wen Chou smiles as she approaches Qu Yi before putting her left arm around Qu Yi’s shoulder. “Hey Newbie! Do you happen to play-” she swings the weapon used against me into her right shoulder, “Baseball?”

I sigh, beginning to feel a migraine coming, either from the noise or the pain. “Okay, okay, take this and show her to the classrooms listed.” I hand Yan Liang a folded-up paper that is in my back pocket. She grabs it from me and opens it beginning to read the contents. I continue, “It says everything she needs to do, get her a uniform and show her all the classes listed. Do all that and I’ll forget about the little ‘assault’ incident.”

Yan Liang looks up eyes sparkling. “Thank you for being so kind Mr. Lei! I promise I won’t get detention!”

“Yeah, yeah.” I turn around, beginning the walk back to the elevator. “I’m going to try to sleep off this concussion you two gave me.”

Yan Liang thinks about my words for a brief moment before she peeks her head out of their room in my direction. “Mr. Lei, c-can’t that kill you?”

“I can dream,” I chuckle, as I continue walking away.

A look of concern paints Yan Liang’s face momentarily as she closes the door and turns back to Qu Yi. Qu Yi, who has been silent since I opened the door to the room, looks down to avoid eye contact. “You’re not much of a talker, are you?” Yan Liang warmly greets as she approaches her.

Qu Yi’s mind is full of so many awkward emotions. Not only has she never been physically close to a girl before she came here, having one’s arm around her shoulder made her feel even more awkward. She can’t even hide her blush. “W-Well, I-”

Wen Chou smirks, “Don’t worry! We’re not scary! No need to be shy!” she laughs.

Yan Liang gives Wen Chou a look, her eyelids half closed, “She watched you attack a staff member. I think fear of you is a normal reaction.”

“Eh?” Wen Chou freezes up suddenly, as if that thought has never occurred to her.

Yan Liang approaches Qu Yi and helps separate Wen Chou from her shoulder. “So, what’s your name?” She smiles warmly to Qu Yi.

“A-Ah, um…” She does her best to avoid eye contact, that fake confidence she once had is simply a far faded memory. “I-I’m… Um…” She looks down further, “Q-Qu Yi…” she manages to get out.

Yan Liang gasps, “That’s such a cute name!”

Qu Yi feels a part of her die inside, “Uh, yeah… thanks…” The thought of having to bunk with these two girls already leaves her mind in shambles. She can hardly even look in their direction. It can also be from the fact her new name had been bestowed on her less than forty minutes ago and that a boy’s name being “cute” would be seen as an ultimate insult in her old school and would lead to multiple “after school encounters.”

Yan Liang smiles brightly as she looks at the paper she was handed by me, unaware of the internal conflicts of her new roommate. “So, first thing on the list is get you a uniform.” It is at this point that Qu Yi takes notice of the odd uniform the two share. It has a white ribbon under a light-yellow sailor collar that sways with every movement. The two also have a similar but softer yellow fabric to their top. The sleeves are short, as well as slightly puffy. Their skirts are midway to their knees and puff out due to a petticoat being built into the skirt. White knee-high socks keep all of the skin from their legs hidden from view.

“A-Ah.” Qu Yi manages to speak up looking back and forth between the two’s uniforms. “I-Is that the uniform I have to wear?” She points to Yan Liang’s outfit.

“Oh! Yeah!” She smiles as she does a small twirl showing it off, “It’s cute right! I think Yuan Shao’s class has the best uniform design!”

Qu Yi is trying her hardest to hide the discomfort of being caught in something like that. “U-Uh. So how often do we get to wear, not uniforms?”

Wen Chou is sitting back on a pillow on her bed in the corner of the room. She gives a confused look at the new girl. “Well, they are required most of the time on school grounds. Weekends we can wear what we want though, and each class also has a uniform for practicing sports.”

Qu Yi whimpers a bit, turning back to Yan Liang, who is currently looking in the wardrobe near her bed through her clothes. “Now, you’re a bit smaller and shorter than me, but I think I kept my uniform when I first came to this school in… in…” She stops and ponders for a moment, trying to recall the exact time. “Well, um, regardless- oh, here it is!” She pulls out a matching uniform that appears too small for her but seems like a perfect fit for Qu Yi’s new body. She folds it up and grabs a pair of stockings to go with it. “Here you go!” She says, smiling warmly to Qu Yi as she hands them to her.

Qu Yi grabs the unfamiliar outfit and nods, feeling much less thrilled to be holding it.

“Just change in the bathroom and then we can begin the tour!” She motions with her head towards a door on the right side of the room. Qu Yi slowly walks in and closes the door behind her.

Qu Yi looks around, amazed at the size of the bathroom. It is a personal bathroom for just their room. Despite this, they have their own shower, tub, mirror, sink, and a toilet that looks as if it has an unreasonable number of features. Clearly this school is more well off than her old one; however, the awe on Qu Yi’s face is lost when she notices her own reflection staring back at her. She had examined it briefly on the bus, but staring at it now, she feels she must embrace it. She sets down the uniform on a fluffy rug under her feet as she focuses on the mirror. She begins touching her face, feeling around. It is very soft, as if she has never had to shave in her life. She looks at her reflection closely, using her arms on the sink to get herself closer. Her dark brown hair also seems different, as it seems to have more volume compared to when she was a boy. She never even remembers her hair having poof to it.

“All right…” Qu Yi mutters to herself as she backs away from her reflection. “This is really weird.” She looks down as her hands slowly started unbuttoning her shirt. “A-And it’s only about to get weirder.” She is slow getting to each button, closing her left eye as her right continues to make sure she is avoiding touching any new addition to her body. She takes off her button up shirt as she throws it onto the towel rack built into the wall. She is wearing an undershirt underneath. She feels relief for a brief moment, only needing to accept the fact she has to take this off also.

Now, I could go into more detail, but I’m sure you’re not here to read about Qu Yi’s adventure in changing clothes. Or if you are, I’m sure you’ll find other stories more fitted for you. But I, Lei Bo, don’t want to go into more detail about Qu Yi’s change of clothes. To cut things short, Qu Yi takes off her undershirt, stares in disgust at the bra, and is too embarrassed to LOOK in the bra. Then she takes off her skirt, stares in disgust at her panties, and is too scared to LOOK in the panties. We’ll continue from her intensely staring at the uniform she currently has on the rug.

Outside the room, Wen Chou is laying on her bed, resting her head on her hands, staring in boredom at the ceiling. “So… What’s taking her so long?” She looks to Yan Liang.

Yan Liang is back on her bed, sitting cross legged while studying from her textbook. “She probably just needs to get used to the new bathroom!” She says, too focused to look up. “I’m sure whatever her last school was, didn’t have personal bathrooms.”

Wen Chou sighs as she looks back to the ceiling, then to the bathroom, then back to ceiling, then back to the bathroom. She repeats this in five second intervals for two minutes. “All right, I’m going in.” She sits up.

“You’re going- wai- what?!” Yan Liang raises her head quickly to see Wen Chou stop right outside the door. “You can’t just do that!” Yan Liang blushes at the thought.

Wen Chou has her hand on the knob. “C’mon, we’re all girls here. We’ve all had to change in front of others before.”

Yan Liang quickly jumps out of her bed, hurrying to stop Wen Chou. “No! No! No! You can’t just do that-”

Wen Chou ignores her as she nonchalantly opens the door. “Hey Newbie! Are things going okay?” She smiles, her eyes closed cheerfully.

Qu Yi is holding the uniform in front of her. A severe blush begins to grow on her cheeks as she looks at the two girls in terror. The blush fills her face more and more with each awkward second that passes.

Yan Liang is blushing due to secondhand embarrassment, her hands covering her mouth, as she sees the look of fear painted on Qu Yi’s bright red face.

Wen Chou’s smile is seemingly unphased. She slowly closes the door. A few seconds of silence pass as Wen Chou continues to stand there silently. She slowly turns to her roommate behind her, face still unchanged. Suddenly she blushes and covers her face, “AHHH! WHY DID SHE MAKE IT SO AWKWARD?!”

Yan Liang glares heavily at Wen Chou, “SHE MADE IT SO AWKWARD?! You’re the one who decided to barge in on her!”

“But that wasn’t natural!” Wen Chou sits down outside leaning on the door, “Normally they would be unphased by it! We’re all girls here!”

Yan Liang’s glare only deepens at Wen Chou. “I don’t know where on earth you grew up, but I would have reacted the same way!” Yan Liang kneels down, covering her head in both embarrassment and fear. “Ahhh! Our new roommate is going to hate us!!”

A timid voice from the bathroom interrupts both roommates’ embarrassment. “H-Hey… U-Uh… I-I’m s-sorry for not locking the door.”

Yan Liang perks up, running next to the door. “It’s not your fault! Wen Chou just was being an air-headed idiot is all! Please don’t hate us Qu Yi!”

Wen Chou sits up, not enjoying being insulted by Yan Liang. “H-Hey!”

The voice in the bathroom stammers more. “I-I just need some h-help in here…? I-If that’s okay? I-I’ve never worn a uniform like this…”

Yan Liang gasps. “O-Oh! Of course! I-I’m sorry! That’s my fault! I shouldn’t have assumed!” She leans by the door, “I’m going to enter now, all right?”

A barely audible “mmhmm,” is heard. Yan Liang opens the door and sees the shy blushing Qu Yi nearly in the same pose as when Wen Chou opened the door.

Yan Liang starts to speak extremely quickly as she is bowing profusely to Qu Yi. “ImsosorryImsosorryImsosorryImsosorryImsosorryImsosorry!”

A small smile trickles on Qu Yi’s face as she sees the genuine reaction of Yan Liang. “I-It’s okay. I-I’m just not used to someone seeing me in my underwear.”

Wen Chou gasps and jumps up hearing that. She stands behind Yan Liang, looking to be slightly taller than her. “Wha?! How are you not used to it?? Don’t you have girl friends? How did you ever get changed for P.E. at your last school??”

“Uh, well, I never had any girl friends.” She blushes saying that. The context would imply something different if she isn’t in her current form. “I normally just changed in the bathroom stalls… That way I didn’t get made fun of…” She thinks back to all the guys making fun of her slim legs. Of course, she was a guy then also, but these two didn’t need to know that.

Yan Liang covers her mouth and gasps, “Wh-Wha?!”

Wen Chou shakes her head, “Well, those girls are crazy. You seem perfectly fine to me! Just a bit shy is all! I’ll fix you right up!” She closes her eyes as a big grin spreads on her face.

“Yeah!” Yan Liang adds. “I-If you can forgive Wen Chou for barging in on you, I’m sure you can be friends with her. She’s just not the brightest sometimes!” Wen Chou frowns and looks to Yan Liang who giggles slightly at her. Yan Liang continues, “I, however, would be honored if you’d accept me as your friend!”

Qu Yi smiles and lets out a sigh of relief. She then remembers she’s still in underwear. “S-So! About that help with the uniform!” She tries to cover herself up, not knowing where exactly to cover as she blushes again.

“O-Oh! Right!” Yan Liang walks up to Qu Yi and grabs the puffy skirt in her hands. “So, you unzip the part right here to get the skirt easier to put on…”

Wen Chou grabs the top of the uniform from her, unzipping the back and shoving it over the new girl’s head. “Here! It’s simple!”

Yan Liang gasps, “WEN CHOU! You can be more courteous when trying to teach her!”

“Eh?” She looks at Yan Liang unconvinced. “It’s super easy though. She’s worn a shirt before. Just unzip it so it’s looser around the head hole and wear it like a shirt!”

Qu Yi manages to poke her head through the top of the blouse, “A-All right I can do that!” She lets out, more determination filling her voice. Her hands go through the sleeves, “So where’s this zipper at?”

“Well, we don’t want your hair getting caught in it.” Wen Chou laughs as she pulls Qu Yi’s hair out of the hole. “You sure have a lot of it don’t you?”

Qu Yi frowns, not wanting to be reminded. “I-I suppose.”

Yan Liang takes notice of staring at it intensely. “It looks nice also! You must take very good care of it!”

Wen Chou continues. “Anyway, the zipper is in the back, expertly hidden behind your sailor collar thing! Let me help you with that.” She pulls the zipper up as Qu Yi feels it tighten firmly around her.

  “S-So tight!”

Yan Liang smiles. “You get used to it! It begins to feel comfy after a while. like you’re embraced in a hug!” She begins hugging herself closing her eyes for emphasis as she imagines it for herself. Both Wen Chou and Qu Yi look at her, judging her silently. Yan Liang opens her eyes and sees the faces of either confusion from the latter or disgust from the former. “I-I mean, i-it’s also really cute! So that’s the main reason to wear it! It shows off Yuan Shao’s expert crafts and designs!” She spins around quickly to show off the uniform, causing the skirt to fluff to and fro.

Wen Chou looks to her, annoyed, and grabs the skirt from Yan Liang’s hand. “You’re taking too long!” She quickly turns around to Qu Yi, “Here, put your foot into it like this…”

Yan Liang blinks, looking to Wen Chou, then looking back at her hand that once held the skirt. “H-Hey wait! I-I wanted to help also!”

“Then once it’s up, you zip it back up. There! Does that feel right?” Wen Chou smiles to Qu Yi, ignoring Yan Liang.

  “F-Feels fluffy…”

Wen Chou chuckles. “First time wearing a petticoat I gather? I’m not a fan of them either.” She perks up. “Oh! But an interesting feature the uniform has is a hidden pocket!” She puts her hand in her skirt and pulls out her touch screen phone, then puts it back in.

Yan Liang has her hand reaching out, shaking at being ignored. She is left alone with her thoughts as Wen Chou continued to help Qu Yi through the uniform. “Why did Wen Chou have to steal my help for Qu Yi? She’s the one who embarrassed her…”

Qu Yi rubs her legs together awkwardly. She’s still not used to the lack of pants, and to wear something so fluffy and bouncy isn’t making things easier.

Wen Chou gives a thumbs up. “You look great in it! Already look like a student!”

Yan Liang looks up and sees Qu Yi in the uniform, blushing as she awkwardly moves some hair behind her uniform. “Ah! So cute!” She gives a thumbs up as her left-hand rubs against her cheek.

“B-But, I still feel like I’m exposed…” Qu Yi tries pushing her skirt down.

“Oh, it’s because you don’t have your stockings on.” Wen Chou smiles. “I’ll get them-”

“No!” Yan Liang jumps between Wen Chou and Qu Yi. “I want to help Qu Yi with something!” She grabs the stockings on the ground. “Okay, just sit on the toilet and I can pull these up.” She kneels getting ready to help.

Qu Yi turns and sits on the top of the toilet. It has a fluffy cozy to keep the top comfortable like a seat. “I-It’s not really necessary though. I know how to put socks on…”

“W-Well…” Yan Liang looks up to Qu Yi. “I would like to help if you would let me?”

Qu Yi can’t help but smile slightly and blush. “O-Of course if you want to.” She certainly isn’t used to students being so eager to help.

Yan Liang pulls the stockings over her legs. “If you’re not used to wear such high stockings it can be a bit hard to pull them up, but you’ll get used to them, I know it!” Qu Yi nods, unsure what to really add to the conversation.

“Should we figure out how to get started on that tour now?” Wen Chou looks to Yan Liang as she scratches her head, “You’re the one with the paper.”

“Yep!” She stands up after finishing putting Qu Yi’s socks on. She pulls out the slip of folded paper from the pocket in her skirt. “So, it says ‘take the new student to each of these classes and allow her to meet and talk to the class presidents in each.’” Yan Liang steps out of the bathroom.

Wen Chou grabs Qu Yi’s hand and leads her out to follow Yan Liang. She steps closer to Yan Liang so she can peek at the contents of the note.

Yan Liang continues reading my note. “Cao Cao’s class, Sun Ce’s class, Liu Bei’s class, Dong Zhuo’s class, Lu Bu’s class, and of course, back to her own class.”

A frown appears on Wen Chou’s face. “Ugh, we have to stop by Cao Cao’s class? The pompous shorty ‘holier than thou’ attitude really gets on my nerves!”

“Should we really be talking about her like that while our class president is Yuan Shao?” Yan Liang looks to Wen Chou, concerned. Wen Chou returns a sigh as the two share a knowing look between them.

Qu Yi looks between the two, a look of worry present on her face, “I-Is the president of our class not very nice…?”

The two look between each other as if not sure what to say. “W-Well-” Yan Liang speaks up first. “Let’s talk about it while we start the tour.” Yan Liang opens the door for Qu Yi, who is hesitant about walking out until Wen Chou starts to lead her out with her hand. As Yan Liang closes the door, the group heads to the elevator. “Now, I wouldn’t say President Yuan Shao isn’t nice, but she’s very-”

“She’s very snobby,” Wen Chou cuts her off.

Yan Liang begins to visibly panic as she looks to Qu Yi with worry. “N-Not really! She is very noble! Sure, she can be hard to get along with-”

“She has a very obnoxious laugh.” Wen Chou rolls her eyes. “She does something like-”

“OHOHOHOHO!” A laugh echoes down the hall. Yan Liang jumps in shock.

“H-Here she comes! Be on your best behavior you two!” she loudly whispers to both Wen Chou and Qu Yi as the group turns around.

A girl with long, gorgeous, light blonde hair is walking down the hall, her hair is styled into large, poofy ringlets. She wears the same uniform that the three of the girls are sporting, but hers has a skirt down to her knees and that puffs out fuller. She also has a large ribbon on the back of her uniform that is wrapped tightly into a bow. “Well, well, well!” Her somewhat pompous attitude can be heard from her condescending tone, looking between Wen Chou and Yan Liang. “I am surprised you are headed to class on time, Wen Chou!” She brushes one of her bouncy ringlets with the back of her hand, “Because I’m me and am a wonderful and graceful president, I have arrived to try to help make sure you aren’t late!” She puts her hands on her hips as a smug smile spreads on her face. “Thanks for showing me I should have more faith in my subordinates, Wen Chou! Even when you sometimes trip, I know the nobleness of being in my class can help you reach your true potential!”

Qu Yi, who naturally stepped behind the two, doesn’t know how to introduce herself to the girl.

“Um, well about that.” Wen Chou speaks up. “You see, we were going to head to class. But…” She grabs Qu Yi’s arm and pulls her forward to be shown to the president. “Mr. Lei dropped a new roommate by our room and tasked us with showing her all the important areas on campus and a few of the big-name classrooms.”

The class president smile disappears as she approaches Qu Yi. Qu Yi feels her eyes beaming on her. For some reason the eyes make her feel small and insignificant. She keeps her eyes to the ground. The president seems to notice, “Hmm…” She hums to herself. “What is her name?”

Yan Liang perks up, “Oh! She is Qu Yi! She’s really shy-”

“Qu Yi?” The president says to herself, “It is quite a cute name. But…” She places her hand to her chin. “She lacks confidence.” She tilts her body forward to get a better look at Qu Yi’s face. Qu Yi sees her face and quickly tries to avoid eye contact. “Now, now.” The president smiles, “I understand being intimidated by someone of my presence, but if you are going to be a member of my class, I would hope you can look at me.”

Qu Yi blushes and raises her eyes towards the girl’s face. The girl had a face Qu Yi can’t deny is beautiful.

“There you go!” The blonde girl smiles, “While it is certainly odd to have a student come join my class in the middle of the year, perhaps I should consider it an honor! Mr. Lei must know of the glory of the Yuan name and know I will have you be on the upper echelon of society in no time!” Yuan Shao places the back of her right hand against her left cheek and lets out a loud, “Ohohoho!” As she finishes, she grins to Qu Yi. “I am your graceful and benevolent president, Yuan Shao! Could you please introduce yourself to me in a proper manner?”

Qu Yi uses all her willpower to look the president in the eye. She has a presence that intimidates her. “I-I am Qu Yi. It’s nice to meet you um, Miss Yuan Shao.”

“Oh? No curtsy?” Yuan Shao says somewhat taken aback. “I suppose you are fresh after all. As you spend time in my presence you will learn how to spread the proper standard of the nobility that comes from the Yuan family name throughout the school!” She stands up straight, “Shen Pei!” Yuan Shao pauses for a few moments, “Shen Pei?” She turns to her right looking for someone named Shen Pei. “Oh, right! Poor girl is sick.” She turns back to the three girls. “I suppose since my escort is out sick, I will allow you three the privilege of taking me to class.”

Yan Liang perks up, “O-oh but, President Yuan Shao, we have to do the tour.”

Yuan Shao nods, “Of course, of course, but you say that you have to take her to the important classes, right? I think that there is no comparison to which class is most important than my class!” Yuan Shao walks next to Qu Yi as she leads her along, Yan Liang and Wen Chou following on the sides of them. “Now, Qu Yi! The prestigious name of the Yuan family is a lot to live up to! You must make sure to do everything with the correct amount of elegance and grace!” She looks towards Qu Yi’s movements as she walks, “Do not worry, I’m sure I can get you walking like a proper lady in no time! After all, I do run the most dignified class in the school!”

Qu Yi peeks over to both Wen Chou and Yan Liang, gauging their reactions. Yan Liang smiles and lets out a shrug, while Wen Chou quickly does a sign for crazy and rolls her eyes. “A-All right.” Qu Yi manages to get out, “I-I’m sure I can learn a lot from you.”

Yuan Shao beams at the response, letting out another laugh, “Ohohohoho! My, you are quite skilled in flattery! I must ask, what other talents are you well versed in?” She looks to Qu Yi’s face as the group enter the elevator and Wen Chou hits the button to go down. “Of course, as a member of a class as great and noble as mine, you must have other hidden talents!”

Qu Yi thinks for a moment, “W-Well, I like to do archery. I know quite a bit about it.”

“Oho?” The president nods in admiration, “We don’t have someone skilled in archery in our class!”

As Yuan Shao continues to talk the group heads towards the direction of the large school that awaits them further on the campus grounds.
