Emilio was able to heal himself from a wound that should have taken him to the hospital. But to do it, he had consumed some of his Vitality. Before standing up once again, he decided to focus a few more minutes in increasing his regeneration of Vitality to be once again in his top shape and ended up just as well as before he got hurt.
After he finished, he opened his eyes and examined his arm. Even though it had dried blood, he was completely healed. He didn′t even feel lightheaded as his blood was regenerated too when he was focusing on recovering his Vitality.
After he was done with the wound, Emilio checked his Skills progression to see how much they had advanced.
They both progressed a bit, that’s good. Though I forgot to ask Tuor what the progression means, it should be something good.
With that out of the way, Emilio focused on his training once again. One would think that the smart thing to do was to stop that way of training after he was seriously hurt, but instead of doing that Emilio grabbed both weapons again.
“The Skills will make the training much easier. I don’t have to worry about wounds that much,” Emilio smiled. If anyone else was there, they would have stopped him for sure. After all, he was definitely going to get hurt again. But no one was there, and Emilio went head on into his training again.
Emilio had been introduced to a whole new world with new possibilities and Skills. Not only that, but he had the heads up about some trials he needed to pass in the future and the hint that he had to train for them. If it was going to be like that, he was going to do everything he could to ace those trials and for that he had to train.
The worst part about the training was the possibility of hurting himself, but he had already proven that even if he got hurt, nothing was going to happen. Yeah, it might hurt, but he could heal himself and even improve his Skills, so why would he stop?
Of course, there was also the chance of Tuor lying to him, but the chances of that happening were really low. First of all, he could physically feel the changes in his body with the Vitality and the Skills, which meant that the changes that were going to happen were real and gave credibility to the shopkeeper.
At the same time, there was no reason for Tuor to lie. After all, his advice had been to train, how exactly could that backfire?
With that in mind, Emilio didn’t care about the damage to his body that he could evidently heal and started to train again.
It wasn’t long before he cut himself again. Once that happened, he stopped and focused on regenerating. Once that was done, he started to train once again, keeping a cycle of getting hurt and healing. He was the definition of ‘if you are going to be dumb, be tough’. He kept hurting himself and healing himself.
This kept going on until a shriek interrupted him. On the door to the backyard there was a horrified Amelia with a hand in her mouth looking at the horrible scene in front of her.

At that moment, Emilio decided to look and he found that there were splatters of blood all around him, his clothes were in tatters and even if he was completely healed he had dried blood all over his body. It was a scene straight out of a horror movie.
“Don’t worry, I am healed. I have a Regeneration skill,” Emilio blurted, before her niece got completely traumatized, though looking at the scene, it might have been a little too late for that.
“What the hell does that mean?” Amelia asked, completely horrified. She ran to her uncle to check on his wounds only to find several tears in his clothes, but no wound beneath
There was only one wound in his leg that was not fully healed, but almost healed.
“See I’m almost healed. Give me a little bit and my last wound will be gone” Emilio tried to calm her down as the wound on his leg was quickly becoming even less noticeable.
“You are crazy! Just What happened?” Amelia asked again, as she calmed herself a little after knowing her uncle was safe.
“I tried to train with my daggers, but as you can guess, I kind of suck at using them. So I ended up cutting myself and realized that with my Vitality Skills I can heal really fast. I can even understand how they work and raise their proficiency while training. So I healed and kept going,” Emilio explained, realizing just how crazy it sounded.
“How many times did you cut yourself? Did you heal all of the wounds? With all the blood around you should be dead or on a fast track to that destination!” Amelia exclaimed.
“Ohh, yeah I think that the Vitality Stat and my skills also recover the blood in my body.” Emilio commented and, as he looked around he added “I made a mess, luckily we are in the backyard and not in the house.”
“Your healing is overpowered!” Amelia complained “I thought I was superhuman now, but look at you!”
“It’s not that much, I need some time to heal. But I sure love this Skill,” Emilio explained.
“How were you training to hurt yourself that many times?” Amelia asked, still not believing it was possible to hurt oneself that much in one morning.
“Should I show you?” Emilio asked.
“Sure, but let me get away, if you suck this badly you might hurt me too. And I can’t regenerate.”
Amelia stepped away and watched Emilio pick up his daggers. He didn’t even have to start moving and Amelia started laughing.
“Come on, what is so funny, I didn’t even move!”
“From what source did you find that you have to pick up the daggers like that? Do you think they are kitchen knives?” Amelia kept laughing.
Emilio was stumped by that reaction. After all, he had picked up the daggers in the Trial because they were similar to kitchen knives. Was he wrong? Well, Amelia didn’t have to find out his thought process, did she?
“Umm, is it wrong?” Emilio asked, and Amelia started laughing again.
“Did you really start using the daggers like this? Now it makes sense why you hurt yourself! If anyone else tried it they would end up in the hospital,” Amelia pointed out.
“And how do you know how to use daggers?” Emilio asked.
“Movies, I guess,” Amelia shrugged. “I have a few in mind where someone uses daggers. Maybe we should watch them today.”
“It might be a good idea. Thank you Ami,” Emilio accepted the proposal. He also decided he would not tell anyone about how he was grabbing the daggers just a few seconds ago. He just had to make sure Amelia didn’t know he was trying to hide it.
Amelia laughed once more thinking of what his uncle did, maybe the Mind Stat didn’t correspond to how smart one was if someone with three points in it could behave like her uncle.
“I can’t believe you spent all morning training like that,” Amelia shook her head, “Anyway, I wanted to tell you that we should call mom, but if she sees you like this I think she would come back in the first flight available without caring about the Trials.”
Emilio looked at himself once again, and he had to admit he was not in his best shape. One might argue he was almost at his worst. At least he was not wounded.
“Yeah, I guess I should take a shower first,” Emilio agreed. “I’m sorry for worrying you.”
