Morelth was purposely little to no help for poor Norville. Norville could hear Marshall’s car pull up. Marshall was finished with his errands running around Critterpolis in terms of shopping for groceries. Norville knew he had screwed up big time, then he thought about the rat Hiro – he had to have the blue rose!

  “Gotta get to the neighbor’s place!” cried Norville.

  Norville flew over the hedge and landed in the neighbor’s backyard. He knew Hiro was close by, he could sniff the scent of the blue rose.

  “Norville, Norville, Norville, Norville” sighed Hiro, “I hated to be this sneaky to the likes of you. But the way you beat up Sammy like that back in the alleyway, that wasn’t fair at all.”

  Hiro held the blue rose in a pot, he was ready to make a run for it.

  “You know what I am going to do to this blue rose here?” asked Hiro.

  “Give it back, please, I need it for my job!” cried Norville.

  “I am going to sell it!” laughed Hiro, “There’s a neighbor a few paces down the street who’s willing to buy the rose.”

  Hiro was purposely keeping the neighbor’s identity a secret, but somehow Norville got the sinking feeling it could be Anja.

  “Tell me who it is!” cried Norville.

  “It’s someone very special that you met” laughed Hiro.

  Norville couldn’t believe how stupid he was – falling for someone like Anja, even getting her number down! He couldn’t believe what an idiot he felt!

  “Anja’s the one buying the blue rose?!” cried Norville.

  “Bingo, and she has the money to spend it” laughed Hiro, “see if you can stop me!”

  Hiro then got out a hoverboard and started to take off, Norville knew he had to take into action as he flew using his wings. He did his best trying to fly through the neighborhood trying to chase down Hiro.

  “GIVE ME BACK THAT BLUE ROSE!” cried Norville.

  Norville wasn’t going to give up, he couldn’t let his boss down. As for Marshall he calmly walked into his house and began to place his groceries in the fridge and cabinets. After he finished putting away his groceries he decided to make himself a cup of tea.

  “Mmm, Norville is kind of quiet” thought Marshall.

  Marshall could get the feeling Norville was doing okay with the job – unaware that Hiro was taking off with his prized blue rose. As for Hiro, he was already calling Anja on the other end.

  “You got the blue rose for me?” asked Anja.

  “Yep, safe and sound just gotta get rid of this pest behind me” replied Hiro.

  “Good” laughed Anja, “maybe you should let me handle him instead.”

  “Fine, suit yourself” laughed Hiro.

  Hiro continued to purposely lead Norville to Anja’s place, once Norville arrived, he was smacked right in the face with a shovel. Norville felt dizzy and fell right down. When he woke up, he was surprised it was Anja who struck him.

  “Thanks for bringing me the blue rose” laughed Anja.

  Hiro was also there laughing at Norville’s demise, there was very little that Norville could do to stop them.
