When we last left poor Norville the bat, he found himself “promoted” to become Marshall’s personal assistant. However, that also meant a new layer of embarrassment for Norville for being late. Marshall, being an ever so toxic boss has given him the task of guarding his prized blue rose in his garden. Norville thinks this is an easy job – but it’s harder than it looks.
“I can’t believe I’m stuck here all morning babysitting this blue rose” sighed Norville.
Norville sat down wondering what to make of his life – he thought about his antics against the rat gang led by Sammy. He couldn’t help but to think the rat gang might seek revenge against him as he babysat the blue rose. A few paces away – the second in command of the rat gang – Hiro was already out on another assignment helping one of Marshall’s neighbors doing some gardening. Hiro was an expert gardener and cared very much about his work. Hiro was working for Michele, a hippo neighbor of Marhsall.
“Just make sure all of those hedges are trimmed” said Michele.
Hiro smiled at Michele and continued on with his work – Hiro had a few of the rats working the garden making sure everything was patched up. But one of the rats spotted Norville on the other end of the neighbor’s yard.

“Hey, Hiro that’s the bat that knocked out Sammy the other day!” cried the rat.
Hiro then took out his binoculars and began to zoom in on Norville. The bat was quite bored just sitting around watching the blue rose beside him. Hiro hated destroying prized roses – but then he had an idea – what if the rat gang can steal the blue rose and sell it at an auction? He would rather do something like that.
“Boys, I think we know how to make up for Sammy’s run in with that crazy bat” laughed Hiro.
Hiro began to whisper his plan – it was going to be a simple plan in terms of retrieving the blue rose.
“Once his boss realizes that the blue rose is missing, he will flip out and fire him!” laughed Hiro.
Hiro wanted to record everything as he had his rats head on out towards Marshall’s yard. The rats did their best squeezing through the hedge walls, they didn’t seem to mind the thorns that would get to them. But as they made their way through, they could tell how bored Norville was. Not the same Norville a few days ago where he was trying to desperately get to work.
“I say let’s mess around with his mind first before we take the rose” laughed the first rat.
“Yea, yea, let’s do this for Sammy” added the second rat.
The rats knew if they could spook Norville into freaking out – they’d use that as the perfect diversion to take the blue rose away from him. It would be the perfect scheme for Hiro and his faction of the rat gang. The best part of it all – Hiro was going to record everything!
