Chapter Twelve

  Now that I’ve woken up, I realize I am in a new place.

  This room isn't as nice as the ones in the castle, but it's still quite grand.

  I'm on one of the two beds.

  “Come in.”

  Through the door enters Rei.

  “Hey rei, what happened?”

  “Oh your awake. After the MP appraisal stone went crazy, I carried you to our new dorm room.”

  I don’t think guys and girls are allowed to share a room.

  At the Hero Academy, they have two separate dorm buildings.

  One for girls and one for guys.

  Since I'm a bodyguard for Marin, even though I'm a guy, I would stay in the girls' dorm in an attached room to Marin’s.

  However im still not allowed to sleep in the same room as a girl.

  In cases like this, where the bodyguards are of two different genders, the one that shares a gender with their master would stay in a room together, while the opposite gendered bodyguard would get the attached room to themself.

  And the two rooms that are attached have two doors against eachother that can only be opened from the other sides; just like the connected rooms in a hotel.

  That way, both genders will be safe from each other.

  Does this affect the safety of the master?

  Not really, because remember that there is still the same sex bodyguard in the room aswell.

  And typically someone wouldn’t choose two oposite sex bodyguards.

  Plus, the students aren’t weak.

  Their bodyguards are more like servants.

  They do chores and run errands.

  Most of the reason bodyguards are even sent is to swindle education out of the school.

  Why are Rei and I in the same room?

  “Aren’t guys and girls not allowed to share rooms?”

  We have class in thirty minutes; why doesn’t he have his uniform on already?

  Rei begins taking off his clothes so he can put on his uniform.

  His bare chest, exposed legs, and sleek skin.

  He's stripped down to nothing but his underwear.

  Well, I need to get ready too.

  I can’t stand up.

  “Aren’t you going to get ready?”

  Fuck!

  How in the hell am I supposed to tell him?!

  Rei stares at me, completely dumbfounded.

  After about a minute of her just staring while I try to avert my gaze, his entire face just flushes a crimson red.

  My harem is falling apart right before my very eyes.

  Rei, now in uniform, runs out of the room so fast I can barely see him.
