Chapter 46: Monsters In My Room

She looked up at Xanqer, trying to catch his eye. But he just kept eating, not seeming to notice the sauce on her mouth. Meesha cleared her throat, trying to get his attention. But he still didn't notice.

Meesha pouted, feeling a little disappointed. She decided to tell Xanqer about her plan, hoping he would laugh and play along. "Xanqer, don't you know? You're supposed to–"

But before she could finish her sentence, Xanqer leaned in and licked the sauce off the side of her mouth. Meesha's eyes widened in shock, and she felt a surge of excitement run through her body. Xanqer looked up at her, his eyes locked onto hers, and Meesha felt her heart skip a beat.

Xanqer's mouth was still on her skin, and Meesha could feel his warm breath on her face. She felt a shiver run down her spine as he grazed his tongue around her skin, making sure to clean everything off. He detached from her and wiped the corner of her mouth with his finger, his touch sending shivers down her spine.

Meesha was still frozen in shock, her eyes fixed on Xanqer's face. She felt like she was melting into his eyes, and she couldn't look away. She blushed and looked away, trying to hide her face. But Xanqer just chuckled and pulled her into a hug, his arm wrapped around her waist.

After dinner, Meesha walked over to the sink and began gathering the dishes. She placed them on sink, the clinking of the plates and utensils filling the air. As she spun around, she was taken aback by Xanqer's sudden presence behind her. She was stunned, but only for a moment. A smile spread across her face as she took in Xanqer's handsome features.

Xanqer moved closer to her, his eyes locked onto hers. Meesha felt her heart racing as she placed her hands on the side of the kitchen cabinet, her fingers curling around the edge. He moved closer, his hands wrapping around her waist, his arms pulling her close.

Meesha felt a surge of excitement as she looked into his eyes, his body pressed against hers.

Xanqer leaned down, his lips brushing against hers in a soft, tender kiss that sent shivers down her spine. Meesha's skin burned with delight as she smiled up at him.

She wrapped her arms around his neck, and Xanqer kissed her again on the lips, his mouth gentle but possessive. Then, he kissed the side of her mouth, his lips grazing her skin in a sweet, tender caress. He kissed the top of the side of her mouth, and then below her lips, each kiss a soft, romantic whisper against her skin.

Finally, he kissed her again on the lips, his mouth warm and inviting. Meesha smiled up at him, and she also kissed his lips, a soft, sweet kiss that left her breathless.

As they broke apart for a moment, Xanqer stood upright, his arms still wrapped around Meesha's waist. Meesha's feet rose above the ground, and she wrapped her arms around his neck tighter, feeling a thrill of excitement. "Aah, Xanqer! Put me down!" she exclaimed, swinging her legs.

Xanqer let out a slight chuckle. He swept her into his arms, carrying her like his little baby. Meesha didn't say anything, enjoying the feeling of being carried. She wrapped her arms around his neck, feeling safe and protected.

Xanqer carried her upstairs, his footsteps quiet on the stairs. He carried her into her room, placing her gently on her bed. He pulled the mattress over her, his hands smoothing out the covers. "Go to bed," he said, patting her head.

Meesha thought for a moment, then asked, "Why don't I sleep in your room?"

Xanqer's expression changed, his eyes widening in surprise. He patted her head again, his voice firm but gentle. "Sleep in your room, okay?" He kissed her forehead, his lips soft and warm.

As Xanqer walked away, Meesha pouted, feeling a little disappointed. Why couldn't she sleep in his room? They were a couple, after all. They could sleep together.

She looked up at the ceiling, her mind racing with thoughts and questions. She couldn't fall asleep, her body and mind still buzzing with excitement and curiosity.

Meesha pouted again, her lips curling downward in a adorable expression. She had been lying in bed for hours, but her mind refused to quiet down. As she tossed and turned, an idea popped into her head. She sat up, a mischievous glint in her eye.

She threw off the covers and stood up, her bare feet making barely a sound on the cold floor. She walked to Xanqer's door and knocked lightly, before opening it.

Meesha opened the door and slipped inside, her eyes adjusting to the dim light. Xanqer was sitting up in bed, examining a pile of documents. He looked up as Meesha entered, a hint of surprise in his eyes.

As soon as he saw her, he put the documents aside on the side table, his movements economical and precise. "You're not asleep yet?" he asked.

Meesha walked further into the room, her hands joined together in front of her. "Xanqer, I can't sleep," she said, her voice trembling. "There are many monsters in my room."

Xanqer raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in his eyes. "Monsters?" he repeated, his voice skeptical.

Meesha nodded vigorously, her eyes wide with fear. "Yes. Big, scary monsters. If I sleep, they'll eat me. I'm so scared."

Xanqer knew she was lying, but he couldn't help but feel entertained. Meesha walked to his bed, as she asked, "Can I sleep in your room?"

Xanqer heaved a sigh and smiled, his lips curving upwards. "Yes, you can," he said, his voice resigned.

Meesha felt a surge of happiness and she lay down on Xanqer's bed, snuggling under the mattress. She moved towards Xanqer, her body seeking his warmth and comfort. Xanqer snaked his arm under her waist and pulled her closer, his movements gentle and soothing.

Meesha smiled up at him, her eyes shining with happiness. Xanqer smiled back.

Meesha's head was resting on his chest, his arm wrapped around her waist.

As they lay there, Xanqer's fingers began to stroke her hair, his touch gentle and soothing. Meesha's eyes fluttered closed, her body relaxing into his touch. She felt her eyelids growing heavy, her breathing slowing down.

She closed her eyes, drifting into sleep in Xanqer's embrace.
